Station access has ramps or flat though there are numerous stairs requiring detours to alternate access points.

Train access, portable ramp at driver end of the platform. Trains going via the city loop have the driver at the end of the platform with less room to manoeuvre.
Accessible toilet, wheelchair access, at Elizabeth St end & Swanston St.  Access Elizabeth St from Swanston St end by taking the lift to platform 2, travelling down the platform towards the Elizabeth St end, and down the ramp.
No key needed until last train.  After hours limited access via cleaners.

Red Stitch Actor's Theatre is an accessible venue with wide ramp to step free entry via manual double doors.  The venue was closed so the interior details are unknown.  
There is one accessible parking space in lot 20m from venue, one accessible parking space on street 50m from venue.

The Arts Centre is an accessible venue with straightforward entry. 
The doors are manual and there is enough signage about accessible entry. 
There is an elevator at each level.
Inside the main theatre there are designated wheelchair spaces.

State Theatre

The Fairfax Studio is an intimate theatre in a classic modern style, presenting contemporary and experimental productions.
The access is straightforward with manual doors.

Victorian Institute of Sport

Disabled parking found to the left of the yacht club (if you I are facing the lake). 
Recommended path from parking is the lakeside park that is concrete rather than gravel. 
Automatic sliding door at the entrance of the yacht club for easy access. 
A lift is located just as you enter the building, that has accessibility to all levels in the building including the balcony.

Albert Park Yacht Club

Access straight forward to the centre with
automatic sliding doors.  There is also a 
side entrance the left of the main entrance near the disabled parking spots and another entrance on the other side of the building specifically for the swimming area.
Additional accessibility equipment includes pool hoists & bindi map.
There is an accessible toilet, spacious and well maintained along with the facility.

We love this venue!

Parking is underneath and if the designated disabled area is full, the staff corden off more of the general car park in order to extend the disabled parking area.  

(Before COVID, one could pre-book a disabled parking spot and even pre-book valet parking so that the wheelchair user and carers could be dropped off right at the underground entrance to the venue. Wonderful!)

When booking seats, there is a dedicated number to call and staff have always been helpful in ensuring we book seats that meet our needs.  Companion Card is accepted.

All the staff onsite are helpful and respectful.  Almost always we have had a dedicated staff member to assist us to our seats.

The lifts are enormous so there is no problem with the whole group travelling together - wheelchair user, family and carer. 

This is how accessibility should be done!

The only drawback is that the disabled toilets are on the smaller side, but there is an MLAK facility 200m away at Hamer Hall.  (We haven't tried it.)

Readings is an independent retailer of books and music & offers step free access with accessible ramp entry.  The venue has enough space to move around easily.  Parking can be found very closeby at 2 & 4 Belford Street along with the multi-storey at Acland Court Shopping Centre.  Accessible toilet can be found at O'Donnell Gardens

Central areas of Luna Park are wheelchair accessible.

Disabled facilities are available at both ends of the Park.

The Park undertakes efforts to make as much of the venue accessible as possible, although some rides and attractions are not wheelchair accessible due to the historic nature of Luna Park.

Guests using wheelchairs must be able to access rides safely and may face restrictions based on the specific ride’s safety requirements.

Luna Park staff are not permitted to physically assist guests mounting or dismounting rides.

Disabled guests must be able to sit unassisted on rides.

Carers with a valid Carers Card can obtain a free ticket for entry and rides when accompanying a guest with special needs who has purchased a full-priced ticket.

There are a limited number of accessible parking places to the side of Luna Park in Cavell Street.

Accessible parking is also available at both ends of the Luna Park car park in Shakespeare Grove.

Cars displaying a Category 1 disabled parking permit (blue permit) are exempt from paying parking fees in any Council parking areas around Luna Park.

Surrounding parking and parking at Palais Theatre and St Kilda Sea Baths are available at council rates.

Disabled facilities (which generally include accessible toilets) are located at both ends of the Park.

Safety is paramount; guests who cannot evacuate on foot may be excluded from certain rides like the Scenic Railway.

Health and safety restrictions apply to all guests, including those with disabilities.

The Park encourages guests with disabilities or special needs to contact them directly for personalized advice before visiting.

7 Apples Gelato is an accessible Artisan gelato on Ackland St, St Kilda. Enjoy ice cream with easy flat access with no ramp. Some outdoor seating available. Accessible toilets can be found at O'Donnell Gardens, Donovans & Peanut Farm Pavillion.
