Just a short walk from Watsons Bay ferry wharf, wheelchair-accessible Camp Cove boasts millionaire views that are hard to miss. Nestled on the harbour side of South Head, this delightful beach is packed with fun options to keep the family smiling all day. The kids will love swimming and snorkelling in the calm waters while you relax on the sandy beach. There is a gently-sloped ramp from the street providing step-free access directly onto the beach. The sand is mainly soft and the beach has a gentle gradient. But, the public toilets can only be accessed via a set of stairs. Beware also, if you’re rolling from Watson’s Bay it’s quite difficult due to the old streets with no footpaths, high kerbs and hills. However, there is accessible parking in the carpark at the end of Cliff Street. Camp Cove Reserve is a small park located on Cove Street in Watsons Bay.
