Gilbert Park sits between Belgrave Street and West Promenade. The park is used for events, such as evening markets. Preserved by Manly Council, Gilbert Park is an ideal location to gain some respite from the fierce sun, covered by the shade of the large fig trees. The park caters for both children and adults, with bench seats and two swing sets. It is partially accessible. There is step-free access into the park but some grass areas may be inaccessible due to a step around the perimeter. There are toilets located next to the Gilbert Street entrance. There are no picnic areas in the park. Closest accessible parking spots can be found in the carpark on Market Lane.
