Partially Accessible Restaurant & Cafe In Kennedy StreetOnzieme
Onzieme is a small accessible 30-seat restaurant in the Kingston shopping precinct. The fit-out takes cues from the classic bistros of Paris, namely the dark wood, marble tops & pendant lighting. There are movable Bentwood chairs & tables along with fixed banquette seating with chairs the other side.
There is also the tiny underground Bar à Vin situated in an old bank vault beneath the building. Accessed via the restaurant as well as a low-key red door on the side of the building, Bar à Vin is a walk-in-only spot for more wines, cocktails and simple snacks. It’s inspired by the French tradition of flipping old cellars into bars, with cute illustrations and eclectic artworks lining the walls. Unfortunately the stairs make this area inaccessbile for wheelchairs.
Accessible toilets can be found 100m away at Eyre Street - Road Verge, Telopea Park & Manuka Terrace. Accessible parking can be found nearby at Highgate Lane.
