Canberra Glassworks is an accessible gallery & glass art studio housed in the historic Kingston Power House. Built & supported by the ACT Government, Canberra Glassworks is a dynamic, professional glassmaking facility, dedicated to artists’ working in contemporary glass art, craft & design.
The Glassworks offers step free entry via paved pathway approach to automatic glass doors. Inside there is a viewing platform overseeing the hotshop Glassworks floor & artists at work. The platform through to the coldworking & flameworking stations does feature some stairs. but this does allow for access through to the shop & hotshop (where artists will be blowing glass). Outside is a coffee cart with tables & chairs.
Accessible parking is available onsite along with accessible toilets 500m away at Bowen Park. Free parking on Eastlake Parade near the Fyshwick side.
