The Children’s Playground at Darling Quarter has an array of fun activities that promote learning and imagination for all ages. Water games, climbing ropes, swings, slides, and a flying fox will keep the kids entertained for hours.

The Lendlease Darling Quarter Theatre is an intimate venue located near Darling Harbour on the western fringe of Sydney’s CBD, with terrific transport links via train, bus, light rail and road. The Naked Duck Darling Quarter

Tumbalong Park is very wheelchair friendly. The Terrain is flat and smooth and within the park you can either find ramps or lifts to access other areas. The park is completely accessible, there are no areas which a wheelchair user cannot access. The park has two big picnic and playground areas where everyone can take a break and enjoy the park.
There is accessible parking on Wheat Road in Darling Harbour, next to the aquarium. You will find 6 designated parking spots which are generally free of charge.

Staff can arrange a wheelchair accessible table outside and provide enough space between the tables depending on the time of the day. If the venue is too busy, however, they won’t be able to. There is a shared accessible toilet and accessible parking spots can be found on Darling Harbour.

Onsite there are designated accessible toilets available and accessible parking spots can be found onsite as well. There are 11 in total.

Much more than just a city garden, the walled Chinese Garden respectfully recreates the philosophy and harmony of a traditional Chinese garden in its waterfalls, lakes, exotic plants, pavilions and hidden pathways. With koi carp swimming in the lakes, willows weeping in the breeze and a teahouse serving Chinese tea and dim sum. The Chinese Garden of Friendship is a tourist attraction located at Darling Harbour. There is an entry fee into the gardens, but they are only partially accessible to wheelchair users. There is a ramp at the front of the venue providing step-free access. Pathways and pavilions in the lower garden are accessible for wheelchairs, however, steps and rocky pathways make the upper part of the garden difficult to access. The closest passenger drop-off point to the garden and accessible parking possibility is on Harbour Street. The Chinese Garden has a fully upgraded accessible toilet.

Lindt Chocolate Café is located on Cockle Bay Wharf and fully accessible to wheelchair users.  A ramp from along the Wharf provides access to the venue, or access can also be gained via Wheat Road. Space is tight between tables but there is accessible seating inside and out. It is better to visit the venue on a weekday as it is very busy on the weekend and there wont be much space for a wheelchair.

Nick’s Seafood Restaurant located on Cockle Bay Wharf is fully accessible to wheelchair users. A ramp from along the Wharf provides access to the venue, or access can also be gained via Wheat Road. There is accessible seating inside and out but the room between tables is pretty tight, however, the staff will be able to make as much room as possible for your visit in the venue.

The museum features two main entrances, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. The west-side entrance is a step-free entry directly connected to the sidewalk, providing seamless access. The east-side entrance includes steps, but a wheelchair-accessible ramp is available on the left side of the entrance. Inside, an additional ramp has been designed alongside the stairs to further enhance accessibility.

The museum spans two floors, which can be accessed either by elevator or via the ramp located at the west-side entrance. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available on each floor, and the exhibition halls are entirely step-free. Designated accessible parking spaces are conveniently located to the left of the west-side entrance. Overall, the museum is highly accommodating and friendly for individuals with disabilities.

Zhang Liang Malatang is a Chinese spicy hot pot franchise chain with the Haymarket store located in the Meriton Suites on George Street Sydney.

The restaurant offers step free entry via paved level pathway approach to glass double entry doors. Inside there are open food counters with shelves at different heights & depths to choose from. Once ingredients are selected take to the chefs who will charge you based on the weight of your ingredients & then cook your dish in a soup base of your choice.

Freestanding tables & chairs can be found in the dining area along with covered outdoor seating.

The restaurant serves malatang which is a Sichuan version of Chinese hotpot, a dish where ingredients are selected from a diverse buffet that features vegetables, noodles, meats, seafood & sauces to form a soup. The malatang difference, however, comes from the mala sauce, a Sichuan chilli pepper sauce that can cause a slight numbing sensation. And if soup doesn’t float your culinary boat, you can opt for a stir fry option.

Pyrmont Bay is an accessible light rail stop. There is step-free access onto both platforms, with a lift on site to provide access from Murray Street. There is a designated bay at the end of the platforms in which to wait if you need a portable boarding ramp. Signal the driver on approach and he will alight the train and assist with the ramp.
There are no accessible toilets nearby. A carpark can be found on Edward street.

Chinatown Noodle Restaurant is an accessible Chinese venue which is located on Pyrmonth Street. There is step-free access into and around the venue, which has accessible seating inside. Manjits @ The Wharf - Indian Restaurant

As you approach the entrance on Market Street, you’ll notice the grand crystal doors with a nod to classic French theater style—hard to miss and full of charm!  Located on the ground floor, Parlour has just the right amount of space to comfortably welcome guests, whether you’re stopping in for a quick, delicious lunch or a fancy drink and nibbles.

If you're in the mood for something a bit more sophisticated, just take the lift up to the hotel reception on level 1. From there, the staff will guide you through the spacious, opulent reception area to another lift that takes you up to level 2, where you’ll find the main restaurant.

Every space in the restaurant on level 2 is accessible, with flat surfaces and generous spacing between tables, the bar, and the kitchen area. They’ve really put thought into making the experience easy and comfortable for everyone.

Restrooms are on level 1 near the hotel reception. Just ask for directions, or follow the signs for accessible facilities; you’ll find a spacious restroom with handrails, located on the left as you exit the lifts.

An easy to access café in the lobby on 347 Kent Street.  The doors to the lobby are automatic and slide open, with wide access.  There is no alternative access.  There are several tables that are spaced apart from each other, wide enough to fit a wheelchair at.  All the tables are low.  There is no toilet.  The staff are also very accommodating in general. Parking is limited as it is located in the CBD.

The Malaya on Lime Street is an inaccessible South East Asian restaurant. There is a flight of steps at the only entrance to the building, preventing wheelchair access. There is no accessible outdoor seating.

Located on the first floor of The Star, Gojima offers step-free access via lift from the ground floor. There is accessible seating inside and out. There are no toilets in the venue itself, however, there are accessible facilities located in The Star.

Nick's Bar and Grill is an accessible restaurant and bar offering step-free access from its promenade entry on King Street Wharf.  All areas of the venue are accessible by wheelchair, and there is plenty of accessible seating inside and out. There is also enough space between the tables but make sure to call them anyway before your visit to ensure a smooth stay. The restaurant offers an accessible toilet and also accessible parking for wheelchair users.

The Westfield Sydney branch on Pitt Street is situated in the Central Plaza Food Court & offers step free entry via level path approach to large open plan entry. There is easy access to the food counter & fridges, with both takeaway & eat-in options with freestanding seating in the food court.

Step-free access into the Bristol Arms Hotel can only be gained via the bistro entrance on Slip Street, which is just off Sussex Street. Bristol Arms is made up of three distinct spaces. At top of the hotel sits the Bristol Rooftop with its spacious indoor and outdoor areas. The ground floor hosts the Public Bar and TAB, with big screens throughout to show all sport, and a beer garden. 
The bistro level is the only floor accessible by wheelchair, meaning the bar and terrace areas are inaccessible. There are toilets on the bistro level, but they are not designated accessible.

Bristol Arms Hotel

Located on the first floor of The Star, Sokyo can be accessed from the inside of the entertainment complex or from Union Street. There is step-free access around most of the venue with only some parts inaccessible due to stairs. There are accessible toilets on site.

Lal Qila Darling Harbour is an accessible Indian and Pakistani restaurant offering step-free access from its Lime Street entry.  Not all areas inside are accessible because of a big step.
