Gus' Place is an accessible cafe located on Bunda Street in the heart of Canberra city offering step free access. It opened in 1969 & later became the first outdoor pavement cafe in Canberra. It is one of the oldest and best known cafes in Canberra and one of the first European-style cafes in Australia with both outdoor & indoor dining areas.
The venue is famous for its outdoor dining area with loads of seating with non fixed tables & chairs so easily moveable & large glass windows. There is also inside seating but less room with a busy bar in the centre of the cafe.
Accessible toilets can be found at the Canberra Centre also on Bunda street along with accessible parking. More toilets can be found at Glebe Park on Akuna Street with additional accessible parking.
