Akiba is an accessible venue serving Japanese/Korean fusion cuisine. The menu spans from Asian barbecue, raw bar and dim sum and offers a special ‘feed me’ menu for those who simply can’t decide. At the heart of the kitchen, the chefs cook over live wood and charcoal to create a unique flavour. An exotic cocktail list & drinks menu couple the food.
There is unfixed seating at communal benches, high tables with unfixed stools, unfixed high stools in front of the raw kitchen bar with views of the chefs skilfully slicing sashimi or dressing oysters. The fixed seating & tables are in the booths & further bench seating outside under the terrace.
Accessible toilets can be found at the Canberra Centre on Bunda Street along with Glebe Park & Ampol Braddon. Accessible parking can also be found at the Canberra Centre, Theatre Lane, Hobart & Knowles Place.
