DOP is a semi accessible authentic Italian street food & artisan coffee shop located on Ainslie Avenue, between the Canberra Centre & the Canberra Theatre. 

There is a step leading up to the outdoor takeaway hatch but step free entry to the small inside seating area & access to the inside counter.  There are high & low tables with stools.

Canberra Museum & Gallery  is an accessible art gallery & museum in Canberra located in Civic Square, on London Circuit, in Civic in the centre of the city. 

The Canberra Museum & Gallery features paved pathway approach to step free entry via automatic glass doors. Inside the venue is spacious, fully accessible with wide ailses & ramps for access to the exhibitions.  There are a range of seating options available during floor talks & other public programs. A wheelchair is also available for patron use. Corner Drinks is an accessible coffee shop located on the London Circuit in Canberra.

There is step free access to the single doorway via paved pathway approach with easy access to the counter. Inside there is fixed banquette seating & table booths.  Outside there are limited freestanding tables & chairs.  

Accessible toilets can be found 400m away Glebe Park & 900 m away at Barrine Drive.  Accessible parking can be found very closeby at 7 Akuna St, Theatre Lane & Constitution Avenue.

Accessible parking can be found at 7 Akuna Street Canberra.  The entry is on Akuna Street into Hillside Lane an off street parking area which provides five accessible parking bays, all next to each other with the paying meter across the car park.  There are also regular & motorcycle parking bays.

The Canberra Times Fountain by Bob Woodward was commissioned by Federal Capital Press in 1976 & installed as a gift to the people of Canberra in 1979. It is a fountain centrepiece. The tube and rods are of fabricated stainless steel. This dramatic fountain marks the intersection of Ainslie Avenue with City Walk.

The fountain is accessed by a paved pathway approach located right outside the Canberra Centre which offers both accessible parking, toilets & a variety of eating establishments.  There are bench seat dotted about including concrete versions.

Little Green Bean

Canberra Theatre Centre also known as the Canberra Theatre is the Australian Capital Territory’s central performing arts venue.  

The theatre offers step free entry via paved level pathway approach to automatic glass doors.  There are steps as the front of the venue however there is a ramp to the left. There is lift access to the first balcony in The Playhouse, but no lift access to the second balcony.

Mobility assistance is available, if you require access seating at the end of a row, if you need to avoid stairs, or if you would like to make use of the few available wheelchairs in the venue.  Just contact the Canberra Ticketing Box Office team by phone, 02 6275 2700, in person or complete the special seating request form on their website.  The theatre need to have seats removed to satisfactorily accommodate wheelchair bookings. In order to maximise access for patrons with disabilities and their accompanying guests they request patrons who book in this area collect their tickets on the day of the performance.  Staff will give priority to people with disabilities who come to the box office for ticket collection.  There are a few wheelchairs available to use at the theatre.

The Link is an accessible bar located in the foyer of the Canberra Theatre for pre & post-show & interval entertaining.

The theatre offers Relaxed Performance which has been adapted to make it more accessible for a range of audience members.  This may include people with autism, sensory sensitivities, communication conditions, Tourette’s syndrome, learning disabilities, as well as people living with anxiety.  They also offer Captioning for patrons who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Disabled parking can be found in the Theatre Lane car park behind the Canberra Museum & Gallery & in the ACT Government Surface Car Park at Constitution Avenue.

Banana Leaf Restaurant

The Canberra Carousel is located in Petrie Plaza in the Canberra Central Business District.  

This picturesque carousel delights children & adults alike with its air of olde-worlde charm.  The organ & the fifty two hand carved wooden horses & two elephants were specially imported from Germany. The twisted brass upright poles were made in Scotland.  The horses are four abreast in 14 rows,  two hand carved wooden elephant carriages, one elephant is white the other is grey.  Most of the horses & elephants have names; even Pharlap has his place on the platform.  Beginning life in Melbourne in 1914, the carousel was installed in Canberra in 1974.

The Carousel offers paved pathway approach with limited access to actually ride on the carousel depending on ability.  Unfortunately wheelchair access onto the carousel is not possible.

The Fish Shack

Constitution Place has 560 basement parking bays, 225 of which are for public access. The car park offers permit holders, hotel guests &casual visitors.

To enter the Constitution Place car park turn onto Theatre Lane from Constitution Avenue.  Turn right into the car park, & drive down the ramp.  Your licence plate will be read when you stop at the boom gate & pay at the boom gate when you exit.

There are three lifts from the car park: one exits to Lyric Lane, one exits to the 1 Constitution Avenue lobby & one exits to the A by Adina Hotel.

The Canberra Centenary Column is an accessible sculpture in City Hill, Canberra. It was built to commemorate the city's centenary, & unveiled on 11 March 2014. The sculpture is an 8.5-metre stainless steel obelisk on a 5-metre-wide granite-dressed concrete base accessed by level paved pathway approach.

Inka offers step free access via to double doors via paved pathway approach.  The venue is set over two floors, the second floor is accessed via stairs with no lift onsite. However, the ground floor is level & accessible with both fixed banquette seating, moveable chairs & bar stools.

Access is via a permanent paved ramp to the double front glass swinging doors which open outwards to the restaurant with a small lip to overcome. Reception to the restaurant is right at the front door.
Seating is both indoors and outdoors (under umbrellas if needed).  Inside the restaurant, tables are spaced well apart with what looks like good access for wheelchairs.
Toilets which are shared with other facilities, are accessed back out the front doors and down the side of the restaurant along a wide flat laneway with dedicated accessible toilets - appeared clean and well maintained.

The Meat & Wine Co Canberra

Arc is an accessible cafe by Canberra coffee roaster Redbrick with flat lead-in pathway to entry.  There is step free access to revolving door into the office foyer and round the curtain is the cafe.
