    The ACT Memorial is an accessible war Memorial commemorating men & women associated with the ACT who served in conflicts, peacekeeping missions & related service throughout the world, some of whom paid the supreme sacrifice.

    There are two parts to the Memorial: the physical part which offers step free access throughout & is located opposite Civic Square on London Circuit. The Memorial features paved pathway lead-in pathways with benches dotted around. The second part is the website www.memorial.act.gov.au containing a database of names & information about the people honoured by the Memorial.

    The Memorial It is a place for contemplation, reflection, awareness, commemoration, gatherings & ceremony.

    Accessible parking can be found nearby on Akuna Street, The Canberra Centre, Theatre Lane & Constiution Avenue. Accessible toilets can be found under 200m away at the Canberra Centre on Bunda Street.

    Poppy's Cafe is located nearby offering step free entry, easy access to the counter, banquette seating, freestanding tables & chairs along with outside tables & chairs.
