Accessible Stroll In Kings ParkBridge to Bridge Loop
The Bridge to Bridge in Canberra is a 5.0km loop trail that is considered generally an easy route with wide paved pathways & takes an average of just over an hour to complete.
One of Canberra's classic walks, from "Bridge to Bridge" over the Molonglo River/Lake Burley Griffin. The route can be started from various points around the lake, the mapped route begins from the parking area at Wendouree Drive.
The loop features some of Canberra's most iconic views of the bridge, the National Library, the National Museum and the fountain (Captain Cook Memorial Jet). There are plenty of places to stop along the way for a rest or a picnic with benches, tables & Commonwealth Park.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
Accessible toilets can be found along the route depending where you are including at Parliament House, Old Parliament House Rose Garden, Boundless Playground on Parkes Way, Australian War Memorial & Botanic Gardens.
