Volstead Repeal is an accessible bar hidden away up the far end of the alley of shops in the new Yamaroshi Building at 32 Mort Street in Braddon. It is a warm & intimate venue with no signage, just a glass door & the echo of jazz.
Access is via paved level pathway approach through to a sleek modernist corridor into a post-Prohibition, New York style cocktail bar with walls lined with whisky bottles & deep green leather chesterfields, banquette seating along with freestanding chairs & high bar stool chairs.
One end of the bar houses a small kitchen & pizza oven producing some old-school pizzas & charcuterie platters. With a selection of over 400 whiskies, extensive cocktail, wine & beer list featuring an interesting mix of local & overseas labels there will be something for everyone.
Accessible toilets can be found around 400m away at Ampol Braddon & Haig Park. Accessible parking can be found on Mort Street & Mode3 Elouera Street Car Park.
