Inside, the spacious hallways make it easy to move around, and the attentive staff are happy to assist upon arrival. Guests can enjoy beautiful ocean views while navigating the restaurant’s accessible layout. Accessible restrooms are available, and the route to them is wheelchair-friendly and straightforward. North Bondi RSL is an accessible bar, restaurant and live music venue. The club has step-free access via Ramsgate Avenue and a lift to ensure wheelchair access throughout. 

The space inside is generous - there plenty of inside low tables with lots of space between them and there are also low outside tables on the deck overlooking the beach - a spectacular view!

An Accessible toilet is available on site, although the doorway was partially blocked by stored items when we went. Also beware, the accessible entrance is up a very steep incline pathway from the street front. About a 1 in 4 or more slope!

BRU Coffee on Brighton Boulevard in Bondi is an inaccessible coffee and food outlet. A step at the entrance prevents wheelchair access into a small waiting area and to the counter. However there is accessible seating outside.

Biddigal Reserve is located behind North Bondi Beach on Ramsgate Avenue near the corner of Campbell Street. It is accessible. There is step-free access into the park and around the plot, which is of a gentle gradient. There are sheltered seating areas, picnic areas and a small playground. There are no toilets in the park, however you can find some accessible cafes and restorants near the park.
Limited streetside parking is available on Ramsgate Avenue and Campbell Parade.

To enter the cafe there is a step you do have navigate but once inside the venue is well spaced out to accommodate wheel chairs.

There is a toilet on site, however they are not accessible for a wheel chairs as they are the existing toilets in the building and has a narrow entrance to them.  However, there are accessible toilets at Bondi Pavilion, South & North Bondi Beach.

The Depot

Brand new accessible toilet (or disabled toilet) and showers in a separate building behind Bondi Surf Club. Level path to access and ramp up to big open area. Main door has push-button entry, as have other toilets.

There is a designated accessible unisex toilet which requires an MLAK key to access. At the Pavillion there are accessible shops and a restaurant. Lush On Bondi is an accessible restaurant and bar located next to Bondi Pavilion. The outside seating area can be accessed via the street, and the restaurant can only be entered via the ramp outside the Pavilion entrance and making your way along to the restaurant. Some of the venue’s seating is inaccessible due to high benches and stools. The venue doesn’t have accessible toilets but there are some inside the Pavillon.
Next to the venue is the beach carpark which provides several accessible parking spots. 

Lush On Bondi

The closest ocean beach to the centre of Sydney a mere 7km away, Bondi Beach has become synonymous with Sydney's beach lifestyle and is very popular with tourists, daytrippers, backpackers, residents and all Sydneysiders.
Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.
There is a stand-alone unisex disabled bathroom and disabled toilets in Bondi Pavilion (MLAK key is needed to access this). The ladies and men’s toilets also have a larger stall in each for easy access which do not require a MLAK key.
There is only one beach wheelchair available. It is free for visitors to use. Booking a beach wheelchair is essential by calling 9083 8400 or email: bondipav@waverley.nsw.gov.au

It is located in lockers on the promenade at the northern end of the beach. The lockers provide a secure place to store your own wheelchair while enjoying the beach.

Beach Matting: A portable beach access mat provides independent access to the beach for people who prefer to use their own wheelchair or mobility aid. 

The mat is currently rolled out twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm,

North Bondi is where the locals go to swim and hang out, leaving the main stretch of Bondi Beach to the visiting tourists and backpackers. The beach is looked after by the good folks from North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club. It's also a very popular spot with the boys, who tend to show off their gym efforts. North Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Macelleria on Campbell Parade is an accessible butcher and restaurant. Macelleria literally means “Butcher Shop” and they offer a unique meat eating experience.
There is step-free access upon entry and throughout the venue, which doesn’t have an accessible toilet. Seating is generously spaced inside the restaurant and most is accessible for wheelchair users.

The open-wide doors offer an easy, flat entry point for you to discover their delicious flavours (and yes, you can taste test them too!). There is limited, spacious seating here, however, depending on the time of day, it might get too crowded inside. You do have options to eat out the front or continue strolling down Campbell Parade to take in the beach vibes. Bondi Beach Public Bar is an accessible venue to visit if you want to enjoy their tasty weekly specials, quality happy hour or enjoy some great entertainment. You have the option of sitting inside or outside, however the outside seating uses high stools, The entry is wide enough to fit a wheelchair user or pram and has a mix of high stools and low-level seating available. Tables are spacious, however, this location does bring a crowd so booking ahead is recommended on weekends. There is a ramp available that directs you to the accessible toilet which also includes some additional equipment. It has signage, spacious and well kept inside. No accessible parking nearby but there is street parking located around the venue.

QT Bondi is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access and lifts from the entrance on Beach Road. The hotel’s accessible rooms are in the QT Deluxe Range. The rooms feature a roll-in shower equipped with a seat and hand rails.
Make sure to contact the hotel before your stay to ensure there are accessible rooms available. The hotel is surrounded by accessible cafes and food shops.

Bondi to Bronte is a 1.5km coastal walk starting on Bondi Beach and ending on Bronte Beach. The walk is inaccessible to wheelchair users as there are a number of steps along the route as well as some very rocky terrain.

Located in Bondi Icebergs, The Crabbe Hole is an accessible cafe. Access to the venue can only be gained via the Iceberg’s street entrance on Notts Avenue, and they recommend calling ahead to arrange wheelchair access to the lower level. The cafe has outdoor tables. The cafe itself doesn’t have accessible toilets but  there are accessible toilets within the Iceberg.

Brown Sugar is an inaccessible cafe and bistro on Curlewis Street in Bondi. A step at the doorway prevents wheelchair access into the venue and there is no portable ramp on site to assist with entry. There are also no outside tables.

Lamrock Cafe is an inaccessible eatery located just across the road from Bondi Beach. A portable ramp is needed to gain access to the counter and dining area, but the Lamrock does not have this facility. However there is some outside seating available.

Moo Gourmet Burgers in Bondi is an inaccessible restaurant. A large step and tight doorway make access impossible via wheelchair. There is also no portable ramp on site.

Two large steps at the main entrance of Gelbison Pizzeria Ristorante make the Bondi eatery inaccessible via wheelchair. There is a limited amount of outdoor seating, but there is no portable ramp to allow access to the main dining area.

Located on Hall Street in Bondi on a slight slope, Le Paris-Go is an accessible cafe. There is step-free access into the venue and to the counter, but not all of the indoor seating can be accessed due to steps and the absence of any lift. The outside tables are partially accessible and there is no toilet on site.

Located a stone’s throw away from Bondi Beach, Birichina Cafe is an inaccessible coffee shop. The counter and indoor seating sit on a raised platform from the street, which is inaccessible for wheelchair users. There is some accessible seating outside the cafe.

Trio is a breakfast bar situated on a gentle slope on Campbell Parade in Bondi. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which has indoor and outdoor seating areas with table service.
