The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. North Bondi Beach

The closest ocean beach to the centre of Sydney a mere 7km away, Bondi Beach has become synonymous with Sydney's beach lifestyle and is very popular with tourists, daytrippers, backpackers, residents and all Sydneysiders.
Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.
There is a stand-alone unisex disabled bathroom and disabled toilets in Bondi Pavilion (MLAK key is needed to access this). The ladies and men’s toilets also have a larger stall in each for easy access which do not require a MLAK key.

Entry to Myoko Sushi Bar is step-free, but it can only be gained through a narrow door which may prove too small for some wheelchairs. Inside, there is accessibility to all parts of the seating area. An accessible toilet is unfortunately not provided.

Mad Pizza E Bar is an accessible restaurant in Bondi serving up Italian cuisine. A narrow doorway provides step-free entry inside, where space between tables is tight. There is no accessible toilet on site.

Entry into the accessible restaurant Panama House is tight but step-free. Space between tables is also at a premium and there are no accessible toilets in the venue. Outside, there is a limited amount of accessible seating. The closest parking spots can be found in the pacific carpark.

Bondi Beach is probably the most famous beach in Australia with 1km of stunning beach & home to one of the oldest Surf Life Saving Clubs in Australia.

 Surrounded by parkands, Bondi Beach also has a great variety of shops, restaurants and take away places to choose from. A wide ramp at North Bondi makes access to the beach easy Mobi-mat beach mats are in use at Bondi Beach on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8.30am to 2pm, surf and weather conditions permitting. They are located at the northern end ramp of Bondi Beach, near Wally Weekes pool. Please note that the matting does NOT reach the ocean’s edge.  

Beach wheelchairs are available for hire: you can choose between the Sandcruiser (adults) or Sandpiper (children). Please use the beach wheelchairs to access and swim between the flags. Two accessible parking spots are located right near the ramp down to the beach at North Bondi. There is also plenty of parking available in the open air car park behind the beach. Accessible bathrooms and showers are available near the beach wheelchair lockers just back from the promenade.

A flight of steps leading to the only entrance of Bambusia Chinese Karaoke Restaurant make the venue inaccessible for wheelchair users. There is no lift or alternative entrance to aid entry.

This family-owned chicken shop is not an accessible location for dining. A portable ramp is required to enter the venue, however, not available on premise. Seating is tight and there is no accessible toilet available onsite but can be found at Bondi Pavillion. If you're interested to try their food, perhaps call ahead to place an order for pick-up and ask them to hand it to you.  Parking can be found at Park Drive South

Skinny Dip is an inaccessible breakfast bar and cafe located on Hall Street in Bondi. A small step at the entrance prevents wheelchair access to the counter and small indoor dining area. There are some accessible tables outside the venue.

Anitas is an accessible destination for any ice cream lover. Anita’s boutique ice creams are 100% hand-made from natural ingredients and perfect for a hot summers day. The open-wide doors offer an easy, flat entry point for you to discover their delicious flavours (and yes, you can taste test them too!). There is limited, spacious seating here, however, depending on the time of day, it might get too crowded inside. You do have options to eat out the front or continue strolling down Campbell Parade to take in the beach vibes. Please note there is no toilet on premise but one is an accessible toilet located around the corner near Woolworths; easy public access. Parking can be found at Bondi Beach & Park Drive South

ANITA GELATO

Topikos is an accessible resturant with step free access offering modern Greek dining.  
There are both high & low tables with moveable seating, however space will be limited when busy.

Brand new accessible toilet (or disabled toilet) and showers in a separate building behind Bondi Surf Club. Level path to access and ramp up to big open area. Main door has push-button entry, as have other toilets.

There is a designated accessible unisex toilet which requires an MLAK key to access. At the Pavillion there are accessible shops and a restaurant. Lyfe Cafe is an accessible breakfast spot and cafe in Bondi. An open plan, step-free entrance provides wheelchair access to the counter and small indoor seating area. There are also a few accessible tables located outside. There is no accessible toilet on site.

Located in the Pacific Bondi Beach complex, Parida is an accessible cafe, wine bar and restaurant. There is step-free access into and around the venue, but no accessible toilets are on site. Some of Parida’s seating is inaccessible and there are no tables outside.

The Bondi Bach Cafe is a small, inaccessible cafe on Glenayr Avenue. A small step prevents access to the counter and indoor seating area. There are a limited number of outside tables which are accessible.

Macelleria on Campbell Parade is an accessible butcher and restaurant. Macelleria literally means “Butcher Shop” and they offer a unique meat eating experience.
There is step-free access upon entry and throughout the venue, which doesn’t have an accessible toilet. Seating is generously spaced inside the restaurant and most is accessible for wheelchair users.

Bondi Beach Holiday Apartments is inaccessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has no rooms suitable for wheelchair access and not all areas of the hotel can be accessed step-free.
