North Bondi RSL is an accessible bar, restaurant and live music venue. The club has step-free access via Ramsgate Avenue and a lift to ensure wheelchair access throughout. 

The space inside is generous - there plenty of inside low tables with lots of space between them and there are also low outside tables on the deck overlooking the beach - a spectacular view!

An Accessible toilet is available on site, although the doorway was partially blocked by stored items when we went. Also beware, the accessible entrance is up a very steep incline pathway from the street front. About a 1 in 4 or more slope! 

The closest accessible parking spots can be found in the beach carpark on the promenade. 

North Bondi RSL Club

Speedos Café Bondi is a popular café offering a relaxed atmosphere with stunning views, perfect for enjoying a meal by the beach. The café is situated on a slope, with multiple disabled parking spaces located about 50 meters down the road. There is an accessible outdoor dining area, welcoming for guests using wheelchairs. However, the entrance to the café has stairs, making it challenging for those with mobility issues to access the indoor space. While the café does have a restroom, it is small and not suitable for disabled or wheelchair users.

Speedos Cafe

Speedo’s Cafe is an inaccessible eatery situated on the sloping Ramsgate Avenue in Bondi. A large step leading into the venue prevents wheelchair access, while Speedo’s outside tables are also inaccessible owing to the heavy benches used in place of chairs.

BRU Coffee on Brighton Boulevard in Bondi is an inaccessible coffee and food outlet. A step at the entrance prevents wheelchair access into a small waiting area and to the counter. However there is accessible seating outside.

Biddigal Reserve is located behind North Bondi Beach on Ramsgate Avenue near the corner of Campbell Street. It is accessible. There is step-free access into the park and around the plot, which is of a gentle gradient. There are sheltered seating areas, picnic areas and a small playground. There are no toilets in the park, however you can find some accessible cafes and restorants near the park.
Limited streetside parking is available on Ramsgate Avenue and Campbell Parade.

Biddigal Reserve

Cafe Bondi is a licensed cafe located on a slight slope on Campbell Parade in Bondi.

The counter and indoor seating area can only be accessed via negotiating a step upon entry. 

The absence of a portable ramp means only the venue’s outdoor seating can be accessed by wheelchair.

Located just across the road from Bondi Beach, Sean’s Panaroma is an inaccessible restaurant. Two large steps at the main entrance are unsuitable for wheelchair access. There is also no portable ramp on the premises.

North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club is located on the corners of Campbell Pde and Ramsgate Avenue in North Bondi. It is accessible to wheelchair users. There is a ramp outside the front of the building providing step-free access via the Campbell Parade entrance. There are accessible unisex toilets on site and parking is available on the street or in the Bondi Beach parking lot.

Located next to Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Kiosk is an accessible food outlet. Ramps at the main entrance of the Pavilion provide access to the Kiosk’s counter, while designated accessible toilets can be found in the Pavilion itself. The venue has accessible tables outside.

Porch and Parlour is an accessible cafe and breakfast bar located on Ramsgate Avenue in Bondi. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which doesn’t have an accessible toilet. Seating is accessible inside and partially outside, where some benches prevent access.

Paradise Road Kitchen is an accessible restaurant located on the northern end of Campbell Parade serving American-style chicken. A gentle ramp meets you at the doorway to enable step-free entry to the counter and indoor seating area. There are no toilets in Paradise Road Kitchen.

The Beach Burrito Co. is an inaccessible Mexican restaurant located on Campbell Parade in Bondi. A large step obscures access for wheelchair users at the open plan entrance. There is also no portable ramp on site to aid access.

Williams Park is situated in the Bondi area on the cliffs. This picturesque park has a public golf course and playground with a great view of Bondi Beach. In the park you can also see a historic tower, which is a landmark of the area. The terrain is smooth with a gentle gradient. There are no toilets in the park. Bondi Surf Bathers' Life Saving Club is partially accessible to wheelchair users. There is a ramp at the front of the building providing step-free access, but only the ground floor can be accessed via wheelchair. There are accessible toilets available on site and accessible parking spots can be found at the beach carpark.

Harry’s Bondi Beach is an accessible cafe located on Wairoa Avenue. There is a takeaway kiosk on the exterior of the building and also step-free access into the cafe itself. There is accessible seating inside and outside, but there is no toilet on site but one can be found at North Bondi Beach & Bondi Pavillion.  The closest accessible parking spots can be found at the Pacific carpark.

A large step into Raw Bar makes this bar in Bondi inaccessible. There is no ramp to assist with wheelchair access, although there are accessible outside tables.

The Bucket List

The Depot is an accessible cafe on Warners Avenue, North Bondi with drop curb to outside seating, low & high tables.  The family run corner cafe is popular with locals & offers bistro style dishes.  

To enter the cafe there is a step you do have navigate but once inside the venue is well spaced out to accommodate wheel chairs.

There is a toilet on site, however they are not accessible for a wheel chairs as they are the existing toilets in the building and has a narrow entrance to them.  However, there are accessible toilets at Bondi Pavilion, South & North Bondi Beach.  

Accessible parking can be found Park Drive South & Bondi Beach.  

The Depot

Brand new accessible toilet (or disabled toilet) and showers in a separate building behind Bondi Surf Club. Level path to access and ramp up to big open area. Main door has push-button entry, as have other toilets.

Accessible Toilets 

Bondi Pavilion is accessible to wheelchair users. There is a ramp outside the main entrance providing step-free access into the foyer. There is a designated accessible unisex toilet which requires an MLAK key to access. At the Pavillion there are accessible shops and a restaurant. Accessible parking spots can be found at the beach carpark.


Bondi Pavilion

Lush On Bondi is an accessible restaurant and bar located next to Bondi Pavilion. The outside seating area can be accessed via the street, and the restaurant can only be entered via the ramp outside the Pavilion entrance and making your way along to the restaurant. Some of the venue’s seating is inaccessible due to high benches and stools. The venue doesn’t have accessible toilets but there are some inside the Pavillon.
Next to the venue is the beach carpark which provides several accessible parking spots. 

Lush On Bondi

The closest ocean beach to the centre of Sydney a mere 7km away, Bondi Beach has become synonymous with Sydney's beach lifestyle and is very popular with tourists, daytrippers, backpackers, residents and all Sydneysiders.
Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.
There is a stand-alone unisex disabled bathroom and disabled toilets in Bondi Pavilion (MLAK key is needed to access this). The ladies and men’s toilets also have a larger stall in each for easy access which do not require a MLAK key.
There is only one beach wheelchair available. It is free for visitors to use. Booking a beach wheelchair is essential by calling 9083 8400 or email: bondipav@waverley.nsw.gov.au

It is located in lockers on the promenade at the northern end of the beach. The lockers provide a secure place to store your own wheelchair while enjoying the beach.

Beach Matting: A portable beach access mat provides independent access to the beach for people who prefer to use their own wheelchair or mobility aid. 

The mat is currently rolled out twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm,

North Bondi is where the locals go to swim and hang out, leaving the main stretch of Bondi Beach to the visiting tourists and backpackers. The beach is looked after by the good folks from North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club. It's also a very popular spot with the boys, who tend to show off their gym efforts. North Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.

Sushi Train Bondi Beach is a partially accessible restaurant located at the northern end of Campbell Parade. The conveyor belt is inaccessible for wheelchair users, but there are accessible tables outside of the venue. The restaurant doesn’t have an accessible unisex toilet on site.

Sushi Train Bondi Beach

Macelleria on Campbell Parade is an accessible butcher and restaurant. Macelleria literally means “Butcher Shop” and they offer a unique meat eating experience.
There is step-free access upon entry and throughout the venue, which doesn’t have an accessible toilet. Seating is generously spaced inside the restaurant and most is accessible for wheelchair users.

Located in the Pacific Bondi Beach complex, Parida is an accessible cafe, wine bar and restaurant. There is step-free access into and around the venue, but no accessible toilets are on site. Some of Parida’s seating is inaccessible and there are no tables outside.

Anitas is an accessible destination for any ice cream lover. Anita’s boutique ice creams are 100% hand-made from natural ingredients and perfect for a hot summers day. The open-wide doors offer an easy, flat entry point for you to discover their delicious flavours (and yes, you can taste test them too!). There is limited, spacious seating here, however, depending on the time of day, it might get too crowded inside. You do have options to eat out the front or continue strolling down Campbell Parade to take in the beach vibes. Please note there is no toilet on premise but one is an accessible toilet located around the corner near Woolworths; easy public access. Parking can be found at Bondi Beach & Park Drive South

ANITA GELATO

Topikos is an accessible resturant with step free access offering modern Greek dining.  
There are both high & low tables with moveable seating, however space will be limited when busy.

Located on the ground floor of the Pacific Bondi Beach complex, Fishbowl Sashimi Bar is an accessible fast food restaurant. There is step-free access into and around the venue, but none of the outlet’s tables are accessible for wheelchairs owing to their height. There are, however, outside tables and some of them are accessible for wheelchair users. The restaurant doesn’t have an accessible unisex toilet on site. The closest parking spots can be found at the beach carpark.

Fishbowl Sashimi Bar

QT Bondi is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access and lifts from the entrance on Beach Road. The hotel’s accessible rooms are in the QT Deluxe Range. The rooms feature a roll-in shower equipped with a seat and hand rails.
Make sure to contact the hotel before your stay to ensure there are accessible rooms available. The hotel is surrounded by accessible cafes and food shops.
Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel carpark but there are only limited spaces available.

QT Bondi

Bondi Beach Public Bar is an accessible venue to visit if you want to enjoy their tasty weekly specials, quality happy hour or enjoy some great entertainment. You have the option of sitting inside or outside, however the outside seating uses high stools, The entry is wide enough to fit a wheelchair user or pram and has a mix of high stools and low-level seating available. Tables are spacious, however, this location does bring a crowd so booking ahead is recommended on weekends. There is a ramp available that directs you to the accessible toilet which also includes some additional equipment. It has signage, spacious and well kept inside. No accessible parking nearby but there is street parking located around the venue.

Offering takeaway Thai cuisine, Thainabox is an inaccessible food outlet in Bondi. A step into the venue and another one upon entry make Thainabox inaccessible by wheelchair. There is also no portable ramp on site.

Entry to Myoko Sushi Bar is step-free, but it can only be gained through a narrow door which may prove too small for some wheelchairs. Inside, there is accessibility to all parts of the seating area. An accessible toilet is unfortunately not provided.

Automatic doors provide step-free access into the venue, which has a number of inaccessible seats due to the nature of the permanent fixtures. This family-owned chicken shop is not an accessible location for dining. A portable ramp is required to enter the venue, however, not available on premise. Seating is tight and there is no accessible toilet available onsite but can be found at Bondi Pavillion. If you're interested to try their food, perhaps call ahead to place an order for pick-up and ask them to hand it to you.  Parking can be found at Park Drive South

Brown Sugar is an inaccessible cafe and bistro on Curlewis Street in Bondi. A step at the doorway prevents wheelchair access into the venue and there is no portable ramp on site to assist with entry. There are also no outside tables.

The famous Bondi Baths have been an historical landmark of Bondi Beach for over 100 years and are open to the public all year round. Featuring both a larger lap pool and smaller kid’s pool, qualified lifeguards are on patrol during opening hours all year round.
Bondi Icebergs pool is accessible to wheelchair users. Entry must be made via the Notts Avenue entrance. The club advise ringing ahead to let them know you’re coming so they can arrange access down to the pool. A bistro is available on site.

Icebergs Dining Room and Bar is accessible for wheelchair users. The venue itself advises ringing ahead to organise wheelchair access from the street entrance on Notts Avenue. The dining room has some seating which is cramped and may prevent access but you can discuss details with staff members. There are accessible toilets on site. Lamrock Cafe is an inaccessible eatery located just across the road from Bondi Beach. A portable ramp is needed to gain access to the counter and dining area, but the Lamrock does not have this facility. However there is some outside seating available.

Located at the southern end of Bondi Beach, the Bondi Icebergs Club is an accessible venue offering bistro style cuisine and drinks. Access can only be gained via the street entry on Notts Avenue, and they recommend calling ahead to make the necessary arrangements for wheelchair access. There is seating available inside and also outside. Accessible toilets are provided and the closest parking spots can be found at the beach carpark.

Bondi to Bronte is a 1.5km coastal walk starting on Bondi Beach and ending on Bronte Beach. The walk is inaccessible to wheelchair users as there are a number of steps along the route as well as some very rocky terrain.

Located in Bondi Icebergs, The Crabbe Hole is an accessible cafe. Access to the venue can only be gained via the Iceberg’s street entrance on Notts Avenue, and they recommend calling ahead to arrange wheelchair access to the lower level. The cafe has outdoor tables. The cafe itself doesn’t have accessible toilets but  there are accessible toilets within the Iceberg.

A step upon entry to Boost Juice in Bondi prohibits wheelchair users from being able to access the counter. This inaccessible takeaway outlet does not have its own seating area.

Located on Hall Street in Bondi on a slight slope, Le Paris-Go is an accessible cafe. There is step-free access into the venue and to the counter, but not all of the indoor seating can be accessed due to steps and the absence of any lift. The outside tables are partially accessible and there is no toilet on site.

Two large steps at the main entrance of Gelbison Pizzeria Ristorante make the Bondi eatery inaccessible via wheelchair. There is a limited amount of outdoor seating, but there is no portable ramp to allow access to the main dining area.

Located a stone’s throw away from Bondi Beach, Birichina Cafe is an inaccessible coffee shop. The counter and indoor seating sit on a raised platform from the street, which is inaccessible for wheelchair users. There is some accessible seating outside the cafe.

The venue has one wheelchair accessible, two bedroom room that features a roll-in shower and hand rails around the toilet. This property is 1 minute walk from the beach. The outside seating is accessible but there is no accessible toilet on site.

Mamasan is a small accessible restaurant serving pan-Asian cuisine. There is step-free entry into and throughout the venue, but space is at a premium in the dining room and some tables may be inaccessible as a result but there are a few outdoor tables available.
