The famous Bondi Baths have been an historical landmark of Bondi Beach for over 100 years and are open to the public all year round. Featuring both a larger lap pool and smaller kid’s pool, qualified lifeguards are on patrol during opening hours all year round.
Bondi Icebergs pool is accessible to wheelchair users. Entry must be made via the Notts Avenue entrance. The club advise ringing ahead to let them know you’re coming so they can arrange access down to the pool. A bistro is available on site.

North Bondi is where the locals go to swim and hang out, leaving the main stretch of Bondi Beach to the visiting tourists and backpackers. The beach is looked after by the good folks from North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club. It's also a very popular spot with the boys, who tend to show off their gym efforts. North Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.
There is a stand-alone unisex disabled bathroom and disabled toilets in Bondi Pavilion (A MLAK key is needed). The ladies and men’s toilets also have a larger stall in each for easy access which do not require a MLAK key.
There is only one beach wheelchair available from Bondi lifeguard tower but it is free for visitors to use. There are several parking spots available at the beach carpark.

North Bondi Beach

The closest ocean beach to the centre of Sydney a mere 7km away, Bondi Beach has become synonymous with Sydney's beach lifestyle and is very popular with tourists, daytrippers, backpackers, residents and all Sydneysiders.
Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.
There is a stand-alone unisex disabled bathroom and disabled toilets in Bondi Pavilion (MLAK key is needed to access this). The ladies and men’s toilets also have a larger stall in each for easy access which do not require a MLAK key.
There is only one beach wheelchair available. It is free for visitors to use. Booking a beach wheelchair is essential by calling 9083 8400 or email: bondipav@waverley.nsw.gov.au

It is located in lockers on the promenade at the northern end of the beach. The lockers provide a secure place to store your own wheelchair while enjoying the beach.

Beach Matting: A portable beach access mat provides independent access to the beach for people who prefer to use their own wheelchair or mobility aid. 

The mat is currently rolled out twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm,

Hunter Park has several sculptures around the park that make it an interesting photography spot and thoroughfare for locals.
Hunter Sculpture Park is a partially accessible park in Bondi. There is step-free access from Bondi Road but the gradient is very steep throughout the plot. There are no toilets at Hunter Park. There is a toilet block at nearby Marks Park. Head north towards Bondi for some of the best cafe culture Sydney has to offer. The park doesn’t provide any picnic or Barbecue areas. There is no dedicated parking for the park. If you’re lucky, you might secure parking on Campbell Parade, otherwise try Sandridge Street and some of the back streets around Marks Park.

Entry to Myoko Sushi Bar is step-free, but it can only be gained through a narrow door which may prove too small for some wheelchairs. Inside, there is accessibility to all parts of the seating area. An accessible toilet is unfortunately not provided.

 Surrounded by parkands, Bondi Beach also has a great variety of shops, restaurants and take away places to choose from. A wide ramp at North Bondi makes access to the beach easy Mobi-mat beach mats are in use at Bondi Beach on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8.30am to 2pm, surf and weather conditions permitting. They are located at the northern end ramp of Bondi Beach, near Wally Weekes pool. Please note that the matting does NOT reach the ocean’s edge.  

Beach wheelchairs are available for hire: you can choose between the Sandcruiser (adults) or Sandpiper (children). Please use the beach wheelchairs to access and swim between the flags. Two accessible parking spots are located right near the ramp down to the beach at North Bondi. There is also plenty of parking available in the open air car park behind the beach. Accessible bathrooms and showers are available near the beach wheelchair lockers just back from the promenade.

Topikos is an accessible resturant with step free access offering modern Greek dining.  
There are both high & low tables with moveable seating, however space will be limited when busy.

Anitas is an accessible destination for any ice cream lover. Anita’s boutique ice creams are 100% hand-made from natural ingredients and perfect for a hot summers day. The open-wide doors offer an easy, flat entry point for you to discover their delicious flavours (and yes, you can taste test them too!). There is limited, spacious seating here, however, depending on the time of day, it might get too crowded inside. You do have options to eat out the front or continue strolling down Campbell Parade to take in the beach vibes. Please note there is no toilet on premise but one is an accessible toilet located around the corner near Woolworths; easy public access. Parking can be found at Bondi Beach & Park Drive South

Lyfe Cafe is an accessible breakfast spot and cafe in Bondi. An open plan, step-free entrance provides wheelchair access to the counter and small indoor seating area. There are also a few accessible tables located outside. There is no accessible toilet on site.

The Bondi Bach Cafe is a small, inaccessible cafe on Glenayr Avenue. A small step prevents access to the counter and indoor seating area. There are a limited number of outside tables which are accessible.

Located in the Pacific Bondi Beach complex, Parida is an accessible cafe, wine bar and restaurant. There is step-free access into and around the venue, but no accessible toilets are on site. Some of Parida’s seating is inaccessible and there are no tables outside.

Pizza Hut is an inaccessible takeaway restaurant in Bondi. There are steps at the main entrance and no portable ramp to assist with wheelchair entry.

Bondi Beach Holiday Apartments is inaccessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has no rooms suitable for wheelchair access and not all areas of the hotel can be accessed step-free.

Macelleria on Campbell Parade is an accessible butcher and restaurant. Macelleria literally means “Butcher Shop” and they offer a unique meat eating experience.
There is step-free access upon entry and throughout the venue, which doesn’t have an accessible toilet. Seating is generously spaced inside the restaurant and most is accessible for wheelchair users.

Bonditony's Burger Joint is an inaccessible burger bar on Glenayr Avenue in Bondi. A large step at the entrance to the restaurant prevents wheelchair access and there is no portable ramp to assist. There are some partially accessible seats outside Bonditony’s.

There is a designated accessible unisex toilet which requires an MLAK key to access. At the Pavillion there are accessible shops and a restaurant. The Nine is an accessible breakfast bar in Bondi. There is a gentle ramp at the door to aid entry into a small seating area and the cafe’s counter. There are a number of small tables outside the venue, which does not have an accessible toilet.

Katzy’s Food Factory is an accessible deli on Hall Street in Bondi. There is step-free access onto the premises and throughout the indoor seating area. The venue also has an accessible outdoor seating area. Accessible toilets are also available.

No Name Italian Restaurant is an inaccessible eatery located in The Royal Hotel in Bondi. Access is only possible via the main entrance, which has five steps. The venue do not have a portable ramp to allow wheelchair access.

QT Bondi is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access and lifts from the entrance on Beach Road. The hotel’s accessible rooms are in the QT Deluxe Range. The rooms feature a roll-in shower equipped with a seat and hand rails.
Make sure to contact the hotel before your stay to ensure there are accessible rooms available. The hotel is surrounded by accessible cafes and food shops.
Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel carpark but there are only limited spaces available.
