Macelleria on Campbell Parade is an accessible butcher and restaurant. Macelleria literally means “Butcher Shop” and they offer a unique meat eating experience.

There is limited, spacious seating here, however, depending on the time of day, it might get too crowded inside. You do have options to eat out the front or continue strolling down Campbell Parade to take in the beach vibes. Bondi Pavilion offers three entrances, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. The main entrance includes three steps, but ramps on both the left and right sides provide convenient access for wheelchair users and individuals with mobility challenges. The north and south entrances are completely step-free, allowing for seamless entry without any obstacles.

Inside the pavilion, the layout is fully step-free, and an elevator is available to access the second floor. The venue also features wheelchair-accessible restrooms for added convenience. Additionally, the internal restaurants are equipped with spacious outdoor dining areas, offering plenty of seating options. Designated disabled parking spaces are located near the south entrance, making Bondi Pavilion a highly accessible and inclusive destination.

You have the option of sitting inside or outside, however the outside seating uses high stools, The entry is wide enough to fit a wheelchair user or pram and has a mix of high stools and low-level seating available. Tables are spacious, however, this location does bring a crowd so booking ahead is recommended on weekends. There is a ramp available that directs you to the accessible toilet which also includes some additional equipment. It has signage, spacious and well kept inside. North Bondi is where the locals go to swim and hang out, leaving the main stretch of Bondi Beach to the visiting tourists and backpackers. The beach is looked after by the good folks from North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club. It's also a very popular spot with the boys, who tend to show off their gym efforts. North Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.
There is a stand-alone unisex disabled bathroom and disabled toilets in Bondi Pavilion (A MLAK key is needed). The ladies and men’s toilets also have a larger stall in each for easy access which do not require a MLAK key.
There is only one beach wheelchair available from Bondi lifeguard tower but it is free for visitors to use. There are several parking spots available at the beach carpark.

North Bondi Beach

The closest ocean beach to the centre of Sydney a mere 7km away, Bondi Beach has become synonymous with Sydney's beach lifestyle and is very popular with tourists, daytrippers, backpackers, residents and all Sydneysiders.
Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.
There is a stand-alone unisex disabled bathroom and disabled toilets in Bondi Pavilion (MLAK key is needed to access this). The ladies and men’s toilets also have a larger stall in each for easy access which do not require a MLAK key.
There is only one beach wheelchair available. It is free for visitors to use. Booking a beach wheelchair is essential by calling 9083 8400 or email: bondipav@waverley.nsw.gov.au

It is located in lockers on the promenade at the northern end of the beach. The lockers provide a secure place to store your own wheelchair while enjoying the beach.

Beach Matting: A portable beach access mat provides independent access to the beach for people who prefer to use their own wheelchair or mobility aid. 

The mat is currently rolled out twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm,

A large doorway, which is step-free, takes you through to the counter and indoor dining area. There are also a number of accessible tables outside Papa Pasticceria. The venue offers accessible toilets.

Fishmongers on Hall Street is temporary closed but there is an open venue on 262 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach. It is an accessible food outlet serving gourmet seafood. After you enter via a ramp at the front of the shop, space in the restaurant itself is at a premium and some of the seating is inaccessible. The outside seating is accessible but there is no accessible toilet on site.

The Rice Pot is an accessible restaurant. The venue’s main entrance on Hall Street is step-free, but the inside of Rice Pot is tight for space. There is some cramped seating inside the venue, which doesn’t have an accessible toilet. However there are several outdoor tables available. Chouchou in Bondi is a French-inspired restaurant offering incredible French dishes and experimental beverages. The staff is highly attentive and sophisticated, ready to assist with anything you need. The venue is fully accessible, with a flat pathway seamlessly connecting the street to the entrance.

There are some tables outside on the terrace. The outdoor space is somewhat narrow but still manageable for seating with any device and for entering without issue. A small, gently sloped ramp allows easy access to the indoor seating area.

A corridor leads to the restrooms. While the corridor is slightly narrow, there is enough space to maneuver and reach the toilet area. The ladies restroom is an ambulant toilet, spacious and equipped with handrails on the left side of the toilet and a wall rail on the right-hand side.

Bistro Chouchou

The Crossing Bondi is an accessible cocktail bar and restaurant on O’Brien Street in Bondi. Step-free access is available via the street entrance although at peak times space is tight inside the venue itself, which does have an accessible toilet. Outside tables are also provided. Better inform the venue about your arrival so they can arrange a table for you.

Bars

North Bondi RSL is an accessible bar, restaurant and live music venue. The club has step-free access via Ramsgate Avenue and a lift to ensure wheelchair access throughout. 

The space inside is generous - there plenty of inside low tables with lots of space between them and there are also low outside tables on the deck overlooking the beach - a spectacular view!

An Accessible toilet is available on site, although the doorway was partially blocked by stored items when we went. Also beware, the accessible entrance is up a very steep incline pathway from the street front. About a 1 in 4 or more slope!
