You do have options to eat out the front or continue strolling down Campbell Parade to take in the beach vibes. The closest ocean beach to the centre of Sydney a mere 7km away, Bondi Beach has become synonymous with Sydney's beach lifestyle and is very popular with tourists, daytrippers, backpackers, residents and all Sydneysiders.
Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.
There is a stand-alone unisex disabled bathroom and disabled toilets in Bondi Pavilion (MLAK key is needed to access this). The ladies and men’s toilets also have a larger stall in each for easy access which do not require a MLAK key.
There is only one beach wheelchair available. It is free for visitors to use. Booking a beach wheelchair is essential by calling 9083 8400 or email: bondipav@waverley.nsw.gov.au

It is located in lockers on the promenade at the northern end of the beach. The lockers provide a secure place to store your own wheelchair while enjoying the beach.

Beach Matting: A portable beach access mat provides independent access to the beach for people who prefer to use their own wheelchair or mobility aid. 

The mat is currently rolled out twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm,

Bondi Beach is probably the most famous beach in Australia with 1km of stunning beach & home to one of the oldest Surf Life Saving Clubs in Australia.

 Surrounded by parkands, Bondi Beach also has a great variety of shops, restaurants and take away places to choose from. A wide ramp at North Bondi makes access to the beach easy Mobi-mat beach mats are in use at Bondi Beach on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8.30am to 2pm, surf and weather conditions permitting. They are located at the northern end ramp of Bondi Beach, near Wally Weekes pool. Please note that the matting does NOT reach the ocean’s edge.  

Beach wheelchairs are available for hire: you can choose between the Sandcruiser (adults) or Sandpiper (children). Please use the beach wheelchairs to access and swim between the flags. Two accessible parking spots are located right near the ramp down to the beach at North Bondi. There is also plenty of parking available in the open air car park behind the beach. Accessible bathrooms and showers are available near the beach wheelchair lockers just back from the promenade.

Speakeasy is an inaccessible bar on Curlewis Street in Bondi. A step leading to the narrow doorway makes the venue inaccessible via wheelchair. There is also no portable ramp on site to assist with entry.

Lox Stock & Barrel is an accessible New York-style deli. Space is at a premium inside the venue after you enter via the step-free doorway, with some tables inaccessible. There is also some accessible seating outside. There are no accessible toilets in the venue. Closest accessible parking spots can be found in the Hub shopping center carpark.

Bagel Bar & New York Deli is an accessible destination to meet your bagel cravings. Upon arrival, you'll have straightforward, easy entry as the door is always kept open. Once inside, you have low-level table and bench seating that is spacious for a wheelchair user and anyone with a pram. 

There is no toilet on premise and only street parking is available.

Bondi Beach Holiday Apartments is inaccessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has no rooms suitable for wheelchair access and not all areas of the hotel can be accessed step-free.

The Anchor Bar & Restaurant is an accessible venue at the south end of Campbell Parade. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which has an accessible toilet on site. Some of the seating inside and outside of the venue may be inaccessible due to the use of benches.

Katzy’s Food Factory is an accessible deli on Hall Street in Bondi. There is step-free access onto the premises and throughout the indoor seating area. The venue also has an accessible outdoor seating area. Accessible toilets are also available.

There is no step-free access into Bondi Rumba, rendering the venue inaccessible by wheelchair. The main dining area itself is also very cramped and some tables may be inaccessible. There is no portable ramp on site to assist with entry.

Serving up fast food on Glenayr Avenue in Bondi Beach, Bondi Relish is an accessible takeaway restaurant. There is step-free access into the venue, which has some very limited indoor seating. High benches also mean the outdoor seating is inaccessible and there is no accessible toilet on site.

A large step into Raw Bar makes this bar in Bondi inaccessible. There is no ramp to assist with wheelchair access, although there are accessible outside tables.

The Depot is an accessible cafe on Warners Avenue, North Bondi with drop curb to outside seating, low & high tables.  The family run corner cafe is popular with locals & offers bistro style dishes.  

To enter the cafe there is a step you do have navigate but once inside the venue is well spaced out to accommodate wheel chairs.

There is a toilet on site, however they are not accessible for a wheel chairs as they are the existing toilets in the building and has a narrow entrance to them.  However, there are accessible toilets at Bondi Pavilion, South & North Bondi Beach.
