It is better to visit the venue on a weekday as it is very busy on the weekend and there wont be much space for a wheelchair.

The museum features two main entrances, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. The west-side entrance is a step-free entry directly connected to the sidewalk, providing seamless access. Inside, an additional ramp has been designed alongside the stairs to further enhance accessibility.

The museum spans two floors, which can be accessed either by elevator or via the ramp located at the west-side entrance. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available on each floor, and the exhibition halls are entirely step-free. Designated accessible parking spaces are conveniently located to the left of the west-side entrance. Overall, the museum is highly accommodating and friendly for individuals with disabilities.

There is accessible parking on Wheat Road in Darling Harbour, next to the aquarium. You will find 6 designated parking spots which are generally free of charge.

Braza Darling Harbour is an accessible restaurant located at Darling Quarter. There is ramp access from the front of the venue to the main entrance. Staff can arrange a wheelchair accessible table outside and provide enough space between the tables depending on the time of the day. If the venue is too busy, however, they won’t be able to. There is step-free access throughout, and most tables are accessible. Outdoor tables are also available in the venue. The space between tables is restricted but the staff will make it work.

Located on the first floor of The Star, Gojima offers step-free access via lift from the ground floor. There is accessible seating inside and out. There are no toilets in the venue itself, however, there are accessible facilities located in The Star.

Located on the first floor of The Star, Sokyo can be accessed from the inside of the entertainment complex or from Union Street. There is step-free access around most of the venue with only some parts inaccessible due to stairs. There are accessible toilets on site.

Much more than just a city garden, the walled Chinese Garden respectfully recreates the philosophy and harmony of a traditional Chinese garden in its waterfalls, lakes, exotic plants, pavilions and hidden pathways. With koi carp swimming in the lakes, willows weeping in the breeze and a teahouse serving Chinese tea and dim sum. The Chinese Garden of Friendship is a tourist attraction located at Darling Harbour. There is an entry fee into the gardens, but they are only partially accessible to wheelchair users. There is a ramp at the front of the venue providing step-free access. Pathways and pavilions in the lower garden are accessible for wheelchairs, however, steps and rocky pathways make the upper part of the garden difficult to access. The closest passenger drop-off point to the garden and accessible parking possibility is on Harbour Street. The Chinese Garden has a fully upgraded accessible toilet.

Chinese Garden Of Friendship

The Darling is located at the corner of Pyrmont and Union Streets at The Star in Pyrmont. You are conveniently located close to some great attractions including the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, Wild Life Sydney Zoo, Australian National Maritime Museum, Chinese Garden of Friendship and Sydney's Chinatown.
The Darling Hotel is fully accessible to wheelchair users. It has wheelchair accessible rooms that feature lower bed height, wider door frames, hand rails in the bathroom and a roll-in shower. There is step-free access into the hotel and throughout. In the Lobby there is also a wheelchair accessible toilet. There are even several accessible parking spots available. From the carpark you can reach the Hotel by lift. There are also shops and restaurants nearby which are all accessible by wheelchair.

This Indian restaurantnt can only be accessed via a lift from the promenade level, which takes you to the first floor. Space between tables is restricted, but most are accessible. All areas of the venue are accessible by wheelchair, and there is plenty of accessible seating inside and out. There is also enough space between the tables but make sure to call them anyway before your visit to ensure a smooth stay. Sydney Lyric is the place to experience musicals, theatre, concerts, opera and ballet. 
The Theatre is fully accessible to wheelchair users. There are plenty of accessible, step-free entrances from street level. Each floor of the building can be accessed via lifts in order to reach every auditorium and room in the building. Wheelchair seating is located in Row P and Q of the Stalls. Patrons who wish to remain in a wheelchair can be seated in Row P. Patrons transferring from a wheelchair can be seated in Row Q. There are ramps and lifts to the Stalls foyer allowing access to these seats.
Accessible facilities can also be found onsite. There is a carpark at the star casino with accessible parking spots.

Momofuku Seiōbo is an acclaimed restaurant with an open kitchen and edgy vibe, serving inventive Asian-European fusion dishes. It is located on the ground floor of The Star Sydney. The closest entrance is at the corner of Edward and Union Streets. It is fully wheelchair accessible (although, sitting at the counter to eat while watching the chefs at work is not possible).

The Pulse Milk Bar is an accessible venue located inside The Star cafe court.  There is a nice low counter and you can order from there. Staff seems friendly. Display window is also at an accessible height.  Both parking & accessible toilets can be found at the venue
