The Helm Bar is fully accessible for wheelchair users.  A lift situated between the adjoining shops on the ground floor provides step-free access to the first floor bar and dining area. The Social Quarter

An easy to access café in the lobby on 347 Kent Street.  The doors to the lobby are automatic and slide open, with wide access.  There is no alternative access.  There are several tables that are spaced apart from each other, wide enough to fit a wheelchair at.  All the tables are low.  There is no toilet.  The staff are also very accommodating in general. Parking is limited as it is located in the CBD.

Convention is an accessible light rail stop. There is step-free access onto both platforms, which have gentle gradient ramps leading up to them. There is a designated bay at the end of the platforms in which to wait if you need a portable boarding ramp. Signal the driver on approach and he will alight the train and assist with the ramp.

Convention Centre Light Rail

The museum features two main entrances, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. The west-side entrance is a step-free entry directly connected to the sidewalk, providing seamless access. The east-side entrance includes steps, but a wheelchair-accessible ramp is available on the left side of the entrance. Inside, an additional ramp has been designed alongside the stairs to further enhance accessibility.

The museum spans two floors, which can be accessed either by elevator or via the ramp located at the west-side entrance. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available on each floor, and the exhibition halls are entirely step-free. Designated accessible parking spaces are conveniently located to the left of the west-side entrance. Overall, the museum is highly accommodating and friendly for individuals with disabilities.

Australian National Maritime Museum

The Malaya on Lime Street is an inaccessible South East Asian restaurant. There is a flight of steps at the only entrance to the building, preventing wheelchair access. There is no accessible outdoor seating.

Step-free access into the Bristol Arms Hotel can only be gained via the bistro entrance on Slip Street, which is just off Sussex Street. Bristol Arms is made up of three distinct spaces. At top of the hotel sits the Bristol Rooftop with its spacious indoor and outdoor areas. The ground floor hosts the Public Bar and TAB, with big screens throughout to show all sport, and a beer garden. 
The bistro level is the only floor accessible by wheelchair, meaning the bar and terrace areas are inaccessible. There are toilets on the bistro level, but they are not designated accessible.

There is step-free access throughout, and most tables are accessible. Outdoor tables are also available in the venue. The space between tables is restricted but the staff will make it work.

Lal Qila Darling Harbour is an accessible Indian and Pakistani restaurant offering step-free access from its Lime Street entry.  Not all areas inside are accessible because of a big step. But there is plenty of accessible seating outside. The venue doesn’t have designated  toilets for wheelchair users. Accessible parking spots can be found on Shelley Street.

However you can call the restaurant before your arrival and they will allow access through the kitchen. There is no accessible outdoor seating and no accessible toilets can be found on site.

Tumbalong Park is very wheelchair friendly. The Terrain is flat and smooth and within the park you can either find ramps or lifts to access other areas. The park is completely accessible, there are no areas which a wheelchair user cannot access. The park has two big picnic and playground areas where everyone can take a break and enjoy the park.
There is accessible parking on Wheat Road in Darling Harbour, next to the aquarium. You will find 6 designated parking spots which are generally free of charge.
Wheelchair users will also find an accessible public toilet.

The Darling Pizzeria is an inaccessible takeaway restaurant located on Union Street. There are steps at the entrance to the venue which prevents wheelchair access. There is no portable ramp on site to assist with entry.

 Located on the ground floor, Parlour has just the right amount of space to comfortably welcome guests, whether you’re stopping in for a quick, delicious lunch or a fancy drink and nibbles.

If you're in the mood for something a bit more sophisticated, just take the lift up to the hotel reception on level 1. From there, the staff will guide you through the spacious, opulent reception area to another lift that takes you up to level 2, where you’ll find the main restaurant.

Every space in the restaurant on level 2 is accessible, with flat surfaces and generous spacing between tables, the bar, and the kitchen area. They’ve really put thought into making the experience easy and comfortable for everyone.

Restrooms are on level 1 near the hotel reception. Just ask for directions, or follow the signs for accessible facilities; you’ll find a spacious restroom with handrails, located on the left as you exit the lifts.

Located in the heart of the city, Sydney Town Hall is an iconic civic landmark which combines state-of-the-art venue facilities with spectacular heritage architecture and interior decoration. Builti in the late 19th Century housing the chambers of the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Council offices and venues for n=meetings and functions.

The accessible entrance to the building is via the Druitt St entrance (opposite the Queen Victoria Building).

Accessible unisex toilet facilities are available on each publicly accessible floor of the building.

Accessible parking can be found at St Andrew's House, Meriton Suites and Queen Victoria Building.

Town Hall

Strike is a bar and bowling alley offering step-free access from its entry on the promenade at King Street Wharf. All areas of the venue are accessible by wheelchair except for the ‘escape' rooms. There is a lift to provide access to the bowling alley. The venue has seating outside, but  high benches make it inaccessible. However inside there is generous space.
There are accessible toilets onsite and the closest accessible parking spots are on Lime Street.

Strike Darling Harbour

Pyrmont Bay is an accessible light rail stop. There is step-free access onto both platforms, with a lift on site to provide access from Murray Street. There is a designated bay at the end of the platforms in which to wait if you need a portable boarding ramp. Signal the driver on approach and he will alight the train and assist with the ramp.
There are no accessible toilets nearby. A carpark can be found on Edward street.

Pyrmont Bay Light Rail

84 Union St is an accessible bar and restaurant in Pyrmont. There is step-free access into the restaurant, but not all areas are accessible due to steps. There are toilets on site, but they are not designated accessible. There is accessible seating inside, but some tables are inaccessible due to the use of high tables.

The Laneway by Bianco is a take away coffee, wraps and croissants shop. The roads that lead to the take away shop all have ramps. This is unfortunately only true for the take away part on the corner. Close to the Harbour Bridge,The Star and Maritime Museum. Nur Muhammad is an inaccessible Malaysian restaurant located on Murray Street. There is a step at the entrance to the venue which prevents wheelchair access. There is also no accessible seating outside the venue.

The hotel has 4 designated accessible rooms which have an open-plan wet room with a roll-in shower. There is also an accessible parking spot very close to the hotel entrance.

Jumbo Thai is located in Pyrmont offering a variety of Thai dishes and decent prices.

The restaurant is easy to access from the street as its all paved and flat. Inside plenty to room to be wheelchair accessible.

No. 1 Malatang is an accessible Chinese soup restaurant chain with branches in Sydney, this one being located on Sussex Street.

The venue offers step free entry via paved level pathway approach to glass entry doors.  Inside there are shelves at different levels with the soups ingredients to choose from & access to the counter.  There are tables with stool & booth seating. 

Accessible parking can be found at Cinema Centre Carpark.  Accessible toilets can be found at Darling Harbour Tumbalong Park East & Pier Street.

No.1 Malatang city

Much more than just a city garden, the walled Chinese Garden respectfully recreates the philosophy and harmony of a traditional Chinese garden in its waterfalls, lakes, exotic plants, pavilions and hidden pathways. With koi carp swimming in the lakes, willows weeping in the breeze and a teahouse serving Chinese tea and dim sum. The Chinese Garden of Friendship is a tourist attraction located at Darling Harbour. There is an entry fee into the gardens, but they are only partially accessible to wheelchair users. There is a ramp at the front of the venue providing step-free access. Pathways and pavilions in the lower garden are accessible for wheelchairs, however, steps and rocky pathways make the upper part of the garden difficult to access. The closest passenger drop-off point to the garden and accessible parking possibility is on Harbour Street. The Chinese Garden has a fully upgraded accessible toilet.
