Accessible Playground In Beach StreetGrant Reserve Playground (Stan Windon Memorial Playground)

Grant Reserve Playground is one of the area's largest and best playgrounds. Also known as the Stan Windon Memorial Playground, it is located just a few minutes walk south of Coogee Beach along the Coastal Walkway. It is partially accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access into and around the park via various ramps. The play area features interactive and interpretive features for sound and touch, surrounded by grass, trees and a sea view with a toilet block (which is not designated accessible), picnic tables and barbecue facilities close by. Unfortunately there is no equipment specially designed for children in wheelchairs. There is street parking at the Grant Reserve.
