Manly Dam Playground is an accessible all-abilities playground with a variety of inclusive physical, sensory & educative play opportunities.

The fully fenced & gated playground features a climbing frame, a tunnel & bridge, swings, a carousel, seating for parents & landscaping. Materials such as wood & stone were selected for the project to blend into the natural environment. 

There are accessible lead-in pathways, picnic tables & bbqs, both electric & wood plus, toilet block & car park with designated accessible bay.

There are a number of bushwalks around Manly Dam, ranging in length.  The main one is Park Circuit, also known as Manly Dam Heritage Walk, which is 7.3km in length & goes around the lake.  For little ones, there is the Wildflower Walk (350m) & Nature Trail (1.5km).

Berry Reserve Playground is an inclusive playground situated close to the Narrabeen Lagoon with its accessible walking & rolling track.

The playground is fully enclosed by a solid wall & has a castle theme with fort climbing tower, twirly & toddler slide. Natural materials have been used to create tree trunk stepping stones & balance beams, range of swings including an accessible inclusive one.  There are lead in pathways throughout with a train-themed play area, shops, small in-ground trampolines, bouncer, musical play, quirky artwork, shady seating spots.  

The Tramshed Cafe https://thetramshed.com.au/  is next door offering step free entry & a restored 1930s-era Sydney tram which does has a step on entry.

Berry Reserve Playground

Aitken Reserve Playground is situated nearby to Lagoon & Hinkler Park on the Northern Beaches.

The playground features paved level lead in pathways, swing set, climbing castle with steps, ladder, twist & straight slides, bench seats & car park closeby.

Accessible toilets can be found just under 400m away at Keirle Park, Lagoon Park, Queencliff & Freshwater Beach Surf Clubs. 

Aitken Reserve & Playground

Allington Reserve is a compact playground siutated on Allington Crescent adjoining to Elanora Heights Community Centre & Preschool.

The playground is accessed via a paved level pathway however the park equipment consisting of monkey bars, leaf stripper, slide, shop, rock climbing wall, &wall log stepper trail sits on bark chipping with a stone & grass surround.

Only regular street parking & noaccessible toilets are available.

Allington Reserve

Beacon Hill Reserve is located at the top of Willandra Road, Beacon Hill.

The fenced partically covered playground offers a range of play equipment including swings, slides, climbing ropes, towers with bridges  all accessed via paved level pathway approach & soft fall flooring.

Regular public toilets & car park are onsite inculding a lit sportsfields, basketball half court, cricket nets, water, bins & off leash dog area.

Playground Beacon Hill Reserve

Belmore Park is located on Pennants Hills Road, near where it ends at Church Street in Parramatta

The playground is unfenced but set back from the road with natural shade from the trees it features rockers, swings,  climbing play gym with slides, bridges, climbing walls & shop on synthetic grass with bark around it. Overlooking the playground is a gazebo with tables, car park,  accessible toilets which tend to only be open when a sports game is on.

Belmore Reserve Playground

Collaroy Beach is a surf beach that adjoins Narrabeen Beach forming a long stretch of coast. It also forms part of an accessibility precinct that includes an all-abilities playground and access to a FreeWheeler beach wheelchair which provides wheelchair access onto the sand and the surf. 
Due to the long and open stretch of coast at Collaroy-Narrabeen, there can be erosion, especially during storm events. 
Collaroy Beach has a fully accessible beach reserve with disabled toilets, accessible picnic areas, rockpool and paths. There are two FreeWheeler beach wheelchairs available to use here, and a Liberty Swing. Wheelchair users and other people with a disability will be able to better enjoy Collaroy Beach due to a newly installed state-of-the-art adult lift and change facilities which includes an adult change table and hoist. The bathroom facility has a height adjustable shower head with flip-down shower seat as well as grab rails throughout. Please note, you need to have your own sling to use with the hoist. When the beach is patrolled the life guards will get the chairs for you but outside of hours you can arrange to loan the chair through Warringah Council by phoning 9942 2560.
Collaroy also provides an ocean pool with ramp access.  There is a pool wheelchair which can be borrowed from the life guards at the beach. The council carpark adjacent to the beach and playground has eight disabled parking spaces. 

Collaroy Beach

Fishermans Beach is located between Collaroy point and the northern base of Long Reef Point. The 500 m long beach begins amongst the rocks on the south side of Collaroy rock pool, and curves round to face north against the rocks and wide rock platform of Long Reef. It is an accessible beach in Collaroy. There is step-free access onto the sand via a ramp in the middle of the beach. As the ramp is meant for launching boats from, it is not specifically designed for wheelchair access and will need to be negotiated with care. The sand itself is mainly crumbly and the beach is of a medium gradient. There are accessible toilets, showers and changing rooms located at the southern end of the beach. A cafe / kiosk, pay and display parking and picnic tables are available at the beach.

Fishermans Beach

Collaroy Beach is a surf beach that adjoins Narrabeen Beach forming a long stretch of coast. The ocean rock pool at the southern end of the beach has ramp access into the pool. A beach wheelchair & submersible wheelchair for hire from the Lifeguards who are on duty from 9 am till 5 pm between October and April, and until 6 pm between December and February. You can find them at the north-east corner of the Collaroy Surf Club building. Call them on 9982 9261. Unisex accessible toilet / baby change room located at the surf club amenities. Additional MLAK unisex accessible toilet and change room with an adult size change table and a ceiling hoist available at the beach side of the surf club (near the Swim Club). There are 2 mobility parking spaces are located at the southern end of the car park. Extra mobility parking spaces are located near the playground, entry from Birdwood Avenue (one-way driveway). There is an inclusive playground located at the southern end of the reserve which includes Liberty Swing for wheelchair users (use an MLAK key), an accessible carousel, spinner, 6-seater rocker, dome climbing net structure, interconnected timber decks, slides, sensory elements - carved sandstone structures and musical elements & interactive water play. Your own MLAK key can open the Liberty Swing and the accessible toilet at any time, or you can borrow one from the lifeguard.

United Cinemas Collaroy is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access into and throughout the lower level, but the upper floor can only be accessed via stairs. There are wheelchair spaces at the front of each screen. There are accessible toilets on site..

Collaroy Swim Club is a medium-sized hall overlooking Collaroy Beach and is accessible to wheelchair users, there is a lift to the hall which is located at the Surf Club entrance. Step-free access into and throughout the club is provided. There are also accessible toilets and changing facilities. Accessible parking is available in the beach reserve carpark.

Collaroy Swim Club Community Centre

Long Reef Golf Club is only the second 100% disabled-friendly golf course in Australia, with a brand new Paragolfer (a revolutionary all-terrain mobility device which allows an individual to maneuver into a standing position to replicate a full golfing experience) available to hire. The Paragolfer is available for use on the practice facility most of the week and on the course subject to bookings.
The Club itself is also accessible to wheelchair users and provides step-free access inside the club house. There is a gentle ramp from the car park, which has designated accessible spaces, up to the main reception. An accessible toilet is available on site.

Long Reef Golf Club

Collaroy rockpool is an ocean pool with easy access for wheelchair users. The pool has a gentle ramp down into the water. An aquachair for use in the water, accessible changing rooms and toilets. There is accessible parking, a picnic area, and a playground nearby.

Berry Reserve forms a corridor of public open space along Narrabeen Lagoon foreshore from The Esplanade to Loftus Street, Narrabeen and forms part of the Narrabeen Multi-use Track for Rolling, walking & cycling. The lakeside setting provides opportunities for a range of fun activities including boating,  fishing & kayaking.  There is also a market day on the third Sunday of every month.

There are picnic areas, barbecues and toilets along the way.

Carpark access is from Pittwater Road and provides 3-hour parking Monday-Friday and 2-hour Saturdays plus some all day commuter parking.

Berry Reserve Walk 

A coastal stroll down from Dee Why Beach Surf life saving club to dee why pool is mostly flat with concrete paths. It is a 500 metre stroll one way. Along the path, there are stairs that take you down to another path to continue heading towards the pool. There is a ramp that can also be used to take you down the path. 

There is 2 hours free accessible parking at dee why beach outdoor car park located a short distance from the Life Saving Club. There are 4 accessible parking bays with marked out yellow lines for a wheelchair to roll up beside the vehicle. 

Accessible toilets are located 60 meters to the left of Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club. To get to the toilets, you have to cross the road, which requires stepping down from the curb. There is a driveway that can be used to get from the path to the road. Across the road, there is a ramp that can be used to return to the footpath that takes you to the bathrooms however the bottom of the ramp is covered with sand.

Dee Why Beach 

Serving South East Asian cuisine in a beachfront setting, Dragonfly Collaroy is an accessible restaurant. A ramp outside the front of the venue provides step-free access to the entrance and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas, which are both mostly accessible. The space inside and out is generous. Wheelchair users have enough space to maneuver. There is also an accessible toilet on site and designated parking spots can be found on the opposite site of the street.

Dragonfly Collaroy

Stella Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria is an Italian restaurant which is accessible to wheelchair users. There is a ramp allowing wheelchair access to the entrance and indoor dining area, which is step-free. Outside, there is a takeaway kiosk serving coffee and snacks, with more accessible seating available. Space for wheelchair users is restricted but allocating the tables is no problem. 
An accessible toilet is provided by the venue but there are no designated parking spots nearby.

Stella Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria

Chooks on the Beach is an accessible takeaway food outlet on Pittwater Road in Collaroy. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue which has a limited amount of seating inside. Outside tables are available as well. There are no accessible toilets or parking on site.

The Zen is an inaccessible Japanese restaurant located on Pittwater Road in Collaroy. There is a step at the entrance of the venue preventing wheelchair access and there is no ramp on site to assist with entry. There are no tables outside.

Outpost Espresso is a semi accessible cafe, coffee shop situated on Pittwater Road serving coffee, breakfast, brunch & lunch.

The cafe features steps on entry which will need to be navigated, however there is partly covered outdoor street seating & friendly staff to help.

The interior is cosy and welcoming with communal table, well-stocked glass counter showcasing the days pastries, muffins, well-stuffed Brasserie bread sandwiches & the behind the counter chalkboard menu. There is a large front window giving you a view of the park across the street & Fisherman’s Beach.

Accessible parking can be found at the Tennis Club & accessible bathrooms at Collaroy Life Saving Club.
