Both of the entrances to Observer Hotel have steps and are inaccessible for wheelchair users. The only option at this bar and restaurant is to sit outside in the courtyard, which has a number of tables which means you will have no access to the toilets. Staff are happy to assist with arranging a table and they will ensure that there is enough room between the tables. There is also an outside area which can be used.

Appetito Pizza Pasta Bar

Barney and Bligh Reserve is located adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art and contains the historic Cadman’s Cottage building. It's a popular spot for tourists and visitors to enjoy the sight and sounds of Circular Quay.
The Reserve is only accessible via a gravel driveway adjacent to the park, as there is a step running around the perimeter of the reserve. The terrain is mostly soft and there is no accessible parking or toilets nearby.

The Rocks Discovery Museum is inaccessible to wheelchair users. A very narrow doorway provides step-free access but inside not all areas can be accessed via wheelchair. The reception is the only accessible part.

Serving up Thai street food, Wok on Inn is a food outlet on Playfair Street in The Rocks. Gentle ramps lead up to the counter and seating areas, which are mostly accessible. Situated in a small food court, there are no accessible toilets on-site but some at the Visitors Centre nearby.

Upon arrival you will need to use the ramp off Mill Lane which is just on the side street to get up onto footpath. 

There is step-free access into the hotel and throughout. The hotel offers two Queen rooms which are designated accessible. Both feature a roll-in shower with hand rails. You will need to specify that you require one upon booking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, including the Fine Food Store right next door, which has really wonderful food and coffee for lunch, brunch and breakfast.

Dare is an accessible cafe. The venue has two counters - one of which is too high for wheelchair users to pick up their order. Dare’s outdoor seating is generously spaced and easily accessible. There are no toilets on site. Accessible parking can be found in the Wilson carpark at the clocktower.

The Orient Hotel is an accessible bar. Owing to the fact it is located in a heritage listed building, there is no lift access to the upper restaurant. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor and there is a ramped entrance on Argyle Street. Ample space between the outside tables, which have glimpses of the harbour & water. Unfortunately all the tables inside are bar height with bar stools! 

Orient Hotel

Cruise Bar is a waterfront bar and restaurant located next to the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. There is step-free access into the restaurant and outdoor seating areas and tables are generously spaced meaning most are accessible. An accessible unisex toilet is located beside the bar area. Closest parking possibility its the Wilson carpark on George Street.

Located in a food court on Playfair Street, 7Rocks is a deli and cafe which is accessible by wheelchair. There are ramps around the courtyard giving access to the outlet and the various seating areas. There are no accessible toilets on-site but some at the Visitors Centre nearby. Located in a food court on Playfair Street, Hero Sushi Box is a takeaway Japanese food outlet which is accessible by wheelchair. There are ramps around the courtyard giving access to the outlet and the various seating areas. The space in the seating area is generous. There are also designated accessible public toilets located a matter of metres away from Hero Sushi Box in the nearby  Visitor Centre

A large restaurant upstairs in the centre of The Rocks area, great to visit with the whole family, very kid friendly too. Yummy pancakes, pizzas, some salads and it’s fully licensed - something for everyone. Caters easily for large family groups. 

There is a lift to go up to the first floor coming off Playfair street, next to the steps leading to the front door. Although the restaurant is quite roomy with wide aisles to get to all the seats, around half the tables are booth seats, so you may need to book ahead to get one of the open tables with chairs that you can move aside if need be.

Pancakes On The Rocks

Located opposite the Tourist Information Centre in The Rocks, Pony Dining is fully accessible with step-free access into and around the venue. The outdoor seating area is cramped and does not have enough space to comfortably maneuver a wheelchair. Inform the venue about your visit and then they can arrange a special table with enough space. The Museum of Contemporary Art is fully accessible to the mobility impaired. You can access the MCA via the George Street entrance or via a ramp from Circular Quay. All public areas of the museum, including the MCA Store, MCA Café and restaurant and galleries are accessible via lifts. You can borrow wheelchairs at no charge from the Information Desk on level 1.

The Tea Cosy is an inaccessible cafe located on George Street. There are steps leading up to the main entrance and there is no portable ramp on site to enable entry. The only part of the venue that is accessible is the outside street level seating area which means you won’t have access to the toilets.

Located on Harrington Street, the wheelchair access is about 10m down the road towards the Argyle. There is a little ramp but if a car is parked in front it is not accessible off the road. 

The hotel is accessible to wheelchair users. There is one designated accessible room, Heritage Queen room, which is located on the lobby level of the hotel and is fully accessible with roll in showers. However, the hotel’s restaurant is located down a flight of steps and is therefore inaccessible. But the hotel is surrounded by plenty of accessible cafes and restaurants.

There are also plenty of shops and cafes in the immediate surrounding.
The venue does have its own car park which is free of charge but without designated accessible parking spots. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Assistance may be required because there are slopes/ramps. But there is also a Wilson carpark nearby.

Lotus Dumpling Bar is an accessible restaurant serving up pan-Asian cuisine and cocktails in Dawes Point. There is step-free entry into the venue but space is tight and some tables inside and outside may be inaccessible especially at peak times. There is also a small seating area outside Lotus and no accessible toilet.
There are also plenty of accessible public carparks nearby.

Sydney Cove Oyster Bar is accessible to wheelchair users. It is an exclusively open-air restaurant so finding a table to get to in a wheelchair should not be a problem,  despite the fact that spacing between tables is tight and some may be inaccessible at peak times. But just inform the staff about your visit so they can arrange a special table. There is no accessible toilet on site.

Located on Pitt Street the venue is an accessible bar and restaurant. There is a ramp just at the entrance to aid entry. There are some accessible tables outside the venue. There is also an accessible toilet.

Brand new accessible toilet. Wide hallways and turning points to access. Situated on the ground floor down the hallway next to Gozleme Co. No changing table. Plenty of room for turning. 

Gateway Sydney

A newly built accessible unisex toilet in the Gateway centre. Clean, roomy with a large turning circle inside. Long wide corridors to the doorway. Follow the toilet signs from next to Gozleme Co and it's off to the right side through the double doors (which are always open). Gateway is open 7am-11:30pm Mon-Fri, 8am-11:30pm Sat/Sun.

Hungry Jack's is a takeaway fast food outlet located in Circular Quay train station. There are accessible areas for ordering but not for eating in.  There are no toilets on site, but public facilities are available nearby. Closest accessible parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street.

A lift in the lobby of the complex will take you to the venue, where there is step-free access throughout. Serving modern Australian and international cuisine from their waterfront location in Circular Quay, City Extra is an accessible restaurant. Entry into the venue is step-free, but space is at a premium inside and a large amount of tables are inaccessible. Additional seating is available outside the venue. The establishments toilets are on the second floor, which is only accessible via stairs.

Four Seasons is accessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has 4 specific wheelchair friendly rooms with roll-in showers, wall-mounted shower seats, grab bars in the bathrooms, low hanging space in the closet and an automated door, but you will need to specifically ask for an accessible room when making your booking. Each floor is accessible by lift.
