Buckley’s is an accessible bar and restaurant located on the waterfront at Circular Quay. Entry and access throughout the venue is step-free. Located on the promenade leading towards Sydney Opera House, this is a wheelchair friendly cinema. All theatres are wheelchair accessible. 

A dedicated wheelchair space can be found at the back of each theatre. These are unfortunately not shown on the online booking form on their website. To book the accessible seat you’ll need to call the United Cinemas main number ‭02 9970 2626‬.

There is a lift beside the candy bar to each theatre level.

Sydney Cove Oyster Bar is accessible to wheelchair users. It is an exclusively open-air restaurant so finding a table to get to in a wheelchair should not be a problem,  despite the fact that spacing between tables is tight and some may be inaccessible at peak times. But just inform the staff about your visit so they can arrange a special table. There is no accessible toilet on site.

Part of the Sydney Opera House complex, it’s reachable in three main ways; either by strolling along Circular Quay (there is an entrance ramp directly alongside the water) or from the main parking for the Opera House, or from the Opera House directly (take the main lift to the lower ground floor).

The space is partially indoor and outdoor, there are many outdoor tables that are accessible with plenty of space between chairs to manoeuvre, but some areas (a few outdoor tables up steps) are inaccessible.

Those people in wheelchairs might want to avoid going here at peak times (eg Friday evenings; particularly sunny ones) because it gets very full.

There are well maintained accessible toilets at the Opera bar itself and in the Opera Kitchen and Opera House, both very nearby.

A fully accessible station. Beyond the entry barriers are four lifts to the left and right taking you to the two platforms. It is worth bearing in mind that, at certain times, the volume of people and tourists with suitcases means that you might have to wait for an empty lift.

Room between the tables is generous and in case there isn't enough just inform the staff and they will allocate the tables. All tables have wheels so it is easy to move them. Accessible toilets can be found on site but they are not specifically for wheelchair users. 
The venue is surrounded by many construction sites therefore it is not easy to find a designated parking spot but there will be spots at the opera.

Located on the ground floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Top Juice is an accessible juice and snack bar. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout. Top Juice has no seating area of its own, but there is accessible seating in the rest of the food court. There are accessible toilets on site. Customs House has two unisex accessible toilets. One can be found on the ground floor behind the magazine collection. The other on level 1 and has a left hand side transfer. There is no on-site dedicated accessible parking at Customs House. There are 2 on-street mobility parking spaces 250m away on the western side of Pitt Street, south of Alfred Street. The closest paid public parking stations are behind the Gateway building (Underwood Street opposite the Marriott Hotel on Pitt Street), the Sir Stamford Hotel (93 Macquarie Street) and the Sydney Opera House. Access from the street is easy and the area nearby is flat all the way from Circular Quay station.

There is step-free access via a ramp outside the main entrance and a lift providing step-free access to each floor inside. Tucked away on the corner of side road off of Bridge Street, Tokonoma is an inaccessible Japanese restaurant. The only entrance to the venue has a large step up to the door and there is no portable ramp on site to assist with entry.

Located on Pitt Street the venue is an accessible bar and restaurant. There is a ramp just at the entrance to aid entry. There are some accessible tables outside the venue. There is also an accessible toilet. 
Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark nearby.

The Ship Inn

The Museum of Contemporary Art is fully accessible to the mobility impaired. You can access the MCA via the George Street entrance or via a ramp from Circular Quay. All public areas of the museum, including the MCA Store, MCA Café and restaurant and galleries are accessible via lifts. You can borrow wheelchairs at no charge from the Information Desk on level 1. 

Fully accessible toilets are located on the ground level, levels 2 and 3, level 4 Cafe, level 6 Rooftop Venues and in the National Centre for Creative Learning. 

Parking is available a short distance from the museum at Wilson Parking, 155 George Street, The Rocks. More parking can be found at Wilson Parking Grosvenor Place, 225 George Street, The Rocks. 

Museum Of Contemporary Art (MCA)

Graze is an accessible restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which offers accessible seating inside and out. There are also accessible toilets on site. 
Accessible parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark at the overseas passenger terminal.

The Bridge Room is an inaccessible restaurant on Bridge Street serving modern Australian cuisine. A step at the entrance and the lack of a portable ramp prevent access to the venue, which also has two steps down to the toilets inside.

There are two lifts next to the terminal entry which provide access onto the third floor. Turn left out of the lift and you’ll find a step-free entry into the restaurant. Space is tight between the indoor and outdoor tables, which may mean some are inaccessible. There is also an accessible toilet on site.

A Malaysian and Chinese fine dining restaurant on Pitt Street, Neptune Palace is inaccessible by wheelchair. Stairs and the lack of a portable ramp prevent access to the restaurant.

Barney and Bligh Reserve is located adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art and contains the historic Cadman’s Cottage building. It's a popular spot for tourists and visitors to enjoy the sight and sounds of Circular Quay.
The Reserve is only accessible via a gravel driveway adjacent to the park, as there is a step running around the perimeter of the reserve. The terrain is mostly soft and there is no accessible parking or toilets nearby.

Barney and Bligh Reserve

Situated on the second floor of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, Quay Restaurant is accessible to wheelchair users. Yayoi Garden is an accessible Japanese restaurant situated on Bridge Street with the Japanese garden as its centrepiece.  
Step-free access into and throughout the venue is complimented by plenty of accessible seating. There is also an accessible toilet on site.
Designated parking spots can be found in 131 Macquarie Street carpark.

Yayoi Garden

Bar 1880 is a speakeasy-type bar located in the historic Bulletin Place building.  Once home to the publishing house of one of the country’s longest-running magazines, Bulletin Magazine, which was published from 1880 all the way through to 2008.

Bar 1880 has two levels: downstairs, you’ll find the ‘Headline Bar’ with alfresco laneway seating on Bulletin Place.   Upstairs is the ‘Press Room’ with lush bar, uneven floorboards that still carry the marks of the original printing press, painted deep blue walls, low lighting, sepia photographs & old newspaper clippings . 

Inside there is a range of seating from high tables with stools, low tables with chairs, stools, banquette seating with outdoor tables & chairs.

This Way Canteen

The Macquarie Place Park is an heritage-listed, small triangular urban park located in the central business district of Sydney. The park is situated on the corner of Bridge Street and Loftus Street. It is named in honour of Governor Lachlan Macquarie. Macquarie Place Park is a partially accessible park. There is step-free access via Bridge Street, but not all areas are step-free and therefore inaccessible. In the accessible parts the terrain is hard and flat. The park is surrounded by a few accessible Cafés which is nice for a break. There are no playgrounds, picnic areas or barbecue areas in the park. Also accessible toilets are not available. The closest accessible parking facilities can be found in the Wilson carpark on Underwood Street.

Macquarie Place Park

MOS is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free entry into the museum from the street and forecourt. It offers wheelchair access to all three levels by lift and a unisex accessible toilet on the ground level, located behind reception. Collect the Visitors Guide which shows the location of the lift, toilet and AGL Theatre. The MOS Café is located on site and seating spills out onto the Forecourt. The MOS Shop is adjacent to the entry reception area. There is no onsite parking or drop off area. The nearest commercial car spaces are expensive alternatives, include the Governor Phillip Tower basement car park (next door), The Intercontinental Hotel (across the road) or The Opera House car park.

Museum Of Sydney

On corner of Bridge and Loftus Street. Access from Loftus. Accessible with a narrow entrance. Iniside sitting area a little cramped. Small area outside around two tables.  Toilets can be found at The Wintergarden on O'Connell Street & Customs House Library.  Parking can be found at Intercontinental & Sofitel Sydney Wentworth 

Loftus Lane Cafe Cocktail Bar

Tucked away in a narrow alley way on Bulletin Place, Tapavino is a bar that is accessible to wheelchair users. But,  access is extremely limited inside the small bar area, and the venue’s toilets are up a flight of stairs. There is some accessible seating outside the restaurant.
Designated parking can be found in the Wilson carpark at the Atrium.
