A fully accessible station. Beyond the entry barriers are four lifts to the left and right taking you to the two platforms. It is worth bearing in mind that, at certain times, the volume of people and tourists with suitcases means that you might have to wait for an empty lift.

An accessible Italian eatery in Circular Quay, Rossini Restaurant offers step-free access into the venue. There is a range of accessible seating inside and outside the restaurant.

Located on the ground floor of Customs House, Quay Bar is an accessible cocktail bar and restaurant. Ramps at the front of the building lead you to the restaurant’s indoor dining area. There is also a large, accessible outdoor seating area on the forecourt of the building. Room between the tables is generous and in case there isn't enough just inform the staff and they will allocate the tables. All tables have wheels so it is easy to move them. Accessible toilets can be found on site but they are not specifically for wheelchair users. 
The venue is surrounded by many construction sites therefore it is not easy to find a designated parking spot but there will be spots at the opera.

The Quay Cafe is an accessible food and drink outlet inside the entrance of Wharf 6 at Circular Quay. There is an accessible seating area and counter but the space is restricted. There are public accessible toilets very nearby the terminal area, next to the train station.

El Greco Yeeros Cafe is a small takeaway outlet on Alfred Street. It is accessible to wheelchair users with step-free access into the counter and dining area, while outside there is a takeaway window and some accessible seating. There are no toilets in this venue.

Stairs at both entrances to McDonald's on Loftus Street prevent wheelchair access to the fast food restaurant. There is no lift and no portable ramp to assist entry into the venue. The restaurant level on the top floor is currently undergoing a refurbishment but it will be fully accessible to wheelchair users when it opens again later in 2017. While the kitchen is closed, there is a pop-up food truck operating on the ground floor.

A lift in the lobby of Customs House takes you up to the front desk of Cafe Sydney (Customs House is a fully accessible library and information centre located across the road from Circular Quay train station). Ramp access is available at the main entrance of the building via 2 ramps. In Cafe Sydney itself,  a limited range of seating is available due to stairs in some parts. There are accessible toilets on site. Customs House has two unisex accessible toilets. One can be found on the ground floor behind the magazine collection. The other on level 1 and has a left hand side transfer. There is no on-site dedicated accessible parking at Customs House. There are 2 on-street mobility parking spaces 250m away on the western side of Pitt Street, south of Alfred Street. The closest paid public parking stations are behind the Gateway building (Underwood Street opposite the Marriott Hotel on Pitt Street), the Sir Stamford Hotel (93 Macquarie Street) and the Sydney Opera House. Access from the street is easy and the area nearby is flat all the way from Circular Quay station.

There is step-free access via a ramp outside the main entrance and a lift providing step-free access to each floor inside. Customs House also has accessible toilets, as well as being home to three restaurants.

Closest accessible parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street or the Enacon carpark on 117 Macquarie Street.

The Spice Room is an accessible Indian restaurant on the corner of Alfred Street. A ramp outside of the Quay Building next door provides access to the main entrance. The Jessie Street Gardens is a small inner-city park located on Loftus Street, a short distance from Circular Quay. Jessie Street Gardens is an accessible park located outside Gateway shopping complex. There is step-free access onto and throughout the plot, which has several benches. The terrain is hard and flat. There are no toilets in the park.

There is step-free access via entrances from Circular Quay and Alfred Street. The terrain is hard and flat. Plenty of accessible cafes and eateries can be found at Circular Quay and The Rocks. There is no toilet located at the park, the closest facilities are at Circular Quay Train Station.

Bar 1880 is a speakeasy-type bar located in the historic Bulletin Place building.  Once home to the publishing house of one of the country’s longest-running magazines, Bulletin Magazine, which was published from 1880 all the way through to 2008.

Bar 1880 has two levels: downstairs, you’ll find the ‘Headline Bar’ with alfresco laneway seating on Bulletin Place.   Upstairs is the ‘Press Room’ with lush bar, uneven floorboards that still carry the marks of the original printing press, painted deep blue walls, low lighting, sepia photographs & old newspaper clippings . 

Inside there is a range of seating from high tables with stools, low tables with chairs, stools, banquette seating with outdoor tables & chairs.

Eastbank Cafe is an accessible waterfront restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which offers accessible indoor and outdoor seating. The space is in some parts restricted but the staff members will be happy to allocate the tables for you. There is also an accessible toilet on the premises.

Part of the Sir Stamford Hotel on Macquarie Street, The Bar is a fine dining restaurant and upmarket cocktail bar. The entrance to the venue and the various floors are inaccessible for wheelchair users. A set of steps at the entrance prevent access and there are no lifts in the building to enable access to any other parts of the venue.

Tucked away in a narrow alley way on Bulletin Place, Tapavino is a bar that is accessible to wheelchair users. But,  access is extremely limited inside the small bar area, and the venue’s toilets are up a flight of stairs. There is some accessible seating outside the restaurant.

Buckley’s is an accessible bar and restaurant located on the waterfront at Circular Quay. Entry and access throughout the venue is step-free. Hokkaido is an inaccessible Japanese restaurant on Loftus Street. As you arrive at the entry, you are immediately met by a flight of stairs which lead down to the dining area. There is no other entrance to the venue and no outdoor seating.

Lifts provide access from the hotel lobby to the restaurant, and they also take you to the accessible unisex toilets on level two. The Museum of Contemporary Art is fully accessible to the mobility impaired. You can access the MCA via the George Street entrance or via a ramp from Circular Quay. All public areas of the museum, including the MCA Store, MCA Café and restaurant and galleries are accessible via lifts. You can borrow wheelchairs at no charge from the Information Desk on level 1. 

Fully accessible toilets are located on the ground level, levels 2 and 3, level 4 Cafe, level 6 Rooftop Venues and in the National Centre for Creative Learning. 

Parking is available a short distance from the museum at Wilson Parking, 155 George Street, The Rocks. More parking can be found at Wilson Parking Grosvenor Place, 225 George Street, The Rocks.

Sir Stamford at Circular Quay is inaccessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has no rooms suitable for wheelchair access and not all areas of the hotel can be accessed.

The Macquarie Place Park is an heritage-listed, small triangular urban park located in the central business district of Sydney. The park is situated on the corner of Bridge Street and Loftus Street. It is named in honour of Governor Lachlan Macquarie. Macquarie Place Park is a partially accessible park. There is step-free access via Bridge Street, but not all areas are step-free and therefore inaccessible. In the accessible parts the terrain is hard and flat. The park is surrounded by a few accessible Cafés which is nice for a break. There are no playgrounds, picnic areas or barbecue areas in the park. Also accessible toilets are not available. The closest accessible parking facilities can be found in the Wilson carpark on Underwood Street.

Stairs throughout UPSTAIRS @ The Basement prevent access to the bar areas. There is step-free entry, which takes you into a small seating area. There are also tables outside, but the use of high benches mean these are inaccessible for wheelchair users.

Searock Grill is a wheelchair accessible restaurant in Circular Quay. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which has an accessible toilet on site. There are also accessible seating areas inside and outside of the restaurant. The space is restricted but it is no problem for the staff members to allocate the tables to ensure there is enough room to maneuver with a wheelchair.

Tucked away on the corner of side road off of Bridge Street, Tokonoma is an inaccessible Japanese restaurant. The only entrance to the venue has a large step up to the door and there is no portable ramp on site to assist with entry.

The Russell Hotel is accessible to wheelchair users from the rear entrance. It offers a small amount of wheelchair friendly rooms with roll in showers. However the rooms are pretty small and there is not much space to maneuver within the room. There are two pubs within the hotel which are accessible by wheelchair. There are also plenty of shops and cafes in the immediate surrounding.
The venue does have its own car park which is free of charge but without designated accessible parking spots. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Assistance may be required because there are slopes/ramps. But there is also a Wilson carpark nearby.

The Push is on the ground floor of the Russell Hotel building, situated at the gateway to the Rocks area, 
Several steps meet you upon arrival at The Push, but there is a portable ramp on the premises which staff will be happy to assist you with. Space is at a premium inside and some of the tables may be inaccessible at peak times and there is no accessible toilet on site.

Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay may be accessible to some wheelchair users. There is no designated accessible room but there are rooms with roll in showers.
There is step-free access into and around the building - apart from the Fitness Centre, which is inaccessible. There are lifts to provide easy access to each floor. Around the hotel there are many accessible shops and cafes available. The hotel also has its own restaurant which is accessible.  The Mariott offers accessible rooms with wider doorways and roll-in showers. Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel own carpark.

Upon arrival at the Fortune of War, staff will aid your entry into the venue with a portable ramp. There is also a lift that takes you to the terrace, where the accessible toilet is located. Seating is tight but there are accessible tables in the dining area and the terrace.#

The Bridge Room is an inaccessible restaurant on Bridge Street serving modern Australian cuisine. A step at the entrance and the lack of a portable ramp prevent access to the venue, which also has two steps down to the toilets inside.

InterContinental is accessible to wheelchair users via its Macquarie Street entrance. There are lifts to every floor in the building. The hotel has 3 rooms with roll-in showers, but you will need to specifically ask for one when making your booking. There are plenty of accessible shops, Cafés and restaurants nearby. On corner of Bridge and Loftus Street. Access from Loftus. Accessible with a narrow entrance. Iniside sitting area a little cramped. Small area outside around two tables.  Toilets can be found at The Wintergarden on O'Connell Street & Customs House Library.  Parking can be found at Intercontinental & Sofitel Sydney Wentworth

Royal Copenhagen Ice Cream Cone Co is an inaccessible gelato shop located in The Rocks. The entrance to the shop is not step-free and there is no portable ramp to enable access to the counter and small indoor seating area.

There is step-free access into the main bar area, but some parts of the dining area are inaccessible due to steps and the absence of any ramps or lifts. In the outdoor seating area, the use of high benches means only a small number of tables are accessible. But inform the venue about your visit and staff can arrange a table inside or outside.
