La Renaissance Patisserie is an inaccessible food outlet located on Argyle Street in The Rocks. There is a large step at the only entrance to the venue preventing wheelchair access to the counter. There is accessible seating located outside the venue.

The Russell Hotel is accessible to wheelchair users from the rear entrance. It offers a small amount of wheelchair friendly rooms with roll in showers. However the rooms are pretty small and there is not much space to maneuver within the room. There are two pubs within the hotel which are accessible by wheelchair. There are also plenty of shops and cafes in the immediate surrounding.
The venue does have its own car park which is free of charge but without designated accessible parking spots. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Assistance may be required because there are slopes/ramps. But there is also a Wilson carpark nearby.

The Russell Hotel

Step free access via the entrance on Argyle Street which has a ramp but narrow doorway. Limited seating - 3 to 4 tables inside. Plenty of outdoor seating, easily accessible. The Push is on the ground floor of the Russell Hotel building, situated at the gateway to the Rocks area,

Unfortunately all the tables inside are bar height with bar stools!

Located opposite the Tourist Information Centre in The Rocks, Pony Dining is fully accessible with step-free access into and around the venue. The outdoor seating area is cramped and does not have enough space to comfortably maneuver a wheelchair. Inform the venue about your visit and then they can arrange a special table with enough space. The Reserve is only accessible via a gravel driveway adjacent to the park, as there is a step running around the perimeter of the reserve. The terrain is mostly soft and there is no accessible parking or toilets nearby.

Located in The Rocks next to The Argyle, El Camino Cantina is an inaccessible restaurant serving Mexican cuisine. There are cobbles leading up to the venue before you are confronted by a set of seven steps and no portable ramp to assist with entry.

There is a ramp outside Munich Brauhaus to provide access to the German-style bar and restaurant. Not all areas of the indoor dining area are accessible and there are no accessible toilets on the premises. The outdoor seating is made up of permanent benches, which may prove inaccessible for wheelchair users.

A large restaurant upstairs in the centre of The Rocks area, great to visit with the whole family, very kid friendly too. Yummy pancakes, pizzas, some salads and it’s fully licensed - something for everyone. Caters easily for large family groups. 

There is a lift to go up to the first floor coming off Playfair street, next to the steps leading to the front door. Although the restaurant is quite roomy with wide aisles to get to all the seats, around half the tables are booth seats, so you may need to book ahead to get one of the open tables with chairs that you can move aside if need be.

Pancakes On The Rocks

Located in a food court on Playfair Street, Hero Sushi Box is a takeaway Japanese food outlet which is accessible by wheelchair. There are ramps around the courtyard giving access to the outlet and the various seating areas. The space in the seating area is generous. There are also designated accessible public toilets located a matter of metres away from Hero Sushi Box in the nearby  Visitor Centre

Spread over two levels, The Argyle is a bar, restaurant and nightclub located on Argyle Street. 
Cobbles leading up to the venue make wheelchair access tricky, but there is step-free access into and around the ground floor of the venue. The first floor is only accessible by stairs. Some of the tables are inaccessible due to high stools and benches.
Accessible toilets are located on the ground floor. There are several car-parking stations in the vicinity.

The Argyle

Accessible unisex toilet (or disabled toilet) on the lower floor of the arcade. Entrance from Kendall lane (this lane has cobbles), an easier less cobbled entrance can be found by entering the arcade from Argyle St. Automatic sliding door, plenty of room and clean.

Dare is an accessible cafe. The venue has two counters - one of which is too high for wheelchair users to pick up their order. Dare’s outdoor seating is generously spaced and easily accessible. There are no toilets on site. Accessible parking can be found in the Wilson carpark at the clocktower.

Upon arrival you will need to use the ramp off Mill Lane which is just on the side street to get up onto footpath.

You will need to specify that you require one upon booking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, including the Fine Food Store right next door, which has really wonderful food and coffee for lunch, brunch and breakfast.

Four Seasons is accessible to wheelchair users. Situated on the fourth  floor of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, Yukis Japanese Restaurant is accessible to wheelchair users. There are two lifts next to the terminal entry which provide access onto the third floor. Turn left out of the lift and you’ll find a step-free entry into the restaurant. Space is tight between the indoor and outdoor tables, which may mean some are inaccessible. There is also an accessible toilet on site.

Yukis Japanese Restaurant

Serving coffee, sandwiches and pastries from the Alfred Street side of Circular Quay train station, Ground Control Cafe is accessible to wheelchair users. Entry is step-free and the counter is accessible, but the seating area is very cramped for space. There is no outdoor seating and no toilet on site.
Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street.

Located on the first floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Chat Thai is an accessible Asian eatery. A lift in the lobby of the complex will take you to the venue, where there is step-free access throughout. Benches make some of the restaurant’s seating inaccessible by wheelchair, but most can be accessed. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities.
Designated parking spots can be found in the shopping center carpark.

Chat Thai Circular Quay

Accessible Turkish food takeaway outlet located in the Gateway . The counter is accessible on the corner. The outlet is located near the toilets which are accessible. There is an indoor seating area adjacent with plenty of space to move around.  

Gözleme King

Situated on the second floor of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, Quay Restaurant is accessible to wheelchair users. Quay Restaurant

The Blue Bar at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney is  a cocktail bar located on the 36th floor and offers stunning views of the city and harbor. 

The Shangri-La building provides accessible features, including ramps and elevators, to accommodate guests with mobility needs. You can access the Blue Bar through the main lobby of the Shangri-La Hotel which is step-free. Elevators directly connect to the higher floors where the bar is located. The space is restricted, however, the staff are able to allocate tables to ensure enough room for wheelchair users.

The hotel is located near Circular Quay and Wynyard train stations, both of which are accessible via wheelchair and other mobility aids. Taxis and rideshare services can also drop off directly at the hotel entrance in a secured way. Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark around 100 meters away.

Accessible toilets are of easy access throughout the building. You can find one accessible toilet on level 36th.

Blu Bar On 36

A fully accessible station. Beyond the entry barriers are four lifts to the left and right taking you to the two platforms. It is worth bearing in mind that, at certain times, the volume of people and tourists with suitcases means that you might have to wait for an empty lift.

Circular Quay Station

Ribs & Burgers is an accessible bar and restaurant on George Street. There is ramp access outside the venue to enable access to the main entrance, which is step-free. There is accessible seating available at both the indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is also an accessible toilet on site. There are a number of secure, conveniently-located parking stations in The Rocks:

Stairs at both entrances to McDonald's on Loftus Street prevent wheelchair access to the fast food restaurant. There is no lift and no portable ramp to assist entry into the venue. But there is an accessible seating area outside of McDonald’s. There is also no access to the toilets. Designated parking can be found in the Wilson Atrium carpark.

Looks to be currently under renovation December 2022. There are a lot of stairs making the venue inaccessible. A lot of scaffolding / bordering and steel poles in wall ways around tables.

Dutch Smuggler Coffee Brewers

Located on Loftus Street, Paragon Hotel is an accessible restaurant serving a range of pub staples. The restaurant level on the top floor is currently undergoing a refurbishment but it will be fully accessible to wheelchair users when it opens again later in 2017. While the kitchen is closed, there is a pop-up food truck operating on the ground floor.

The Tea Cosy is an inaccessible cafe located on George Street. There are steps leading up to the main entrance and there is no portable ramp on site to enable entry. The only part of the venue that is accessible is the outside street level seating area which means you won’t have access to the toilets.
Accessible parking can be found around 250 metres away in the Wilson carpark.
