Newly renovated this pool is a wheelchair users delight for swimming or just to hang out on the edge of the water, with plenty of seating right next to the pool. Two beach wheelchairs (for the hard surfaces of the pool pathways - not fitted with sand tyres) are stored in metal cabinets on the pathway as you approach the pool. You will need to phone Waverley council on 02 9083 8400 to access them via a pin code on each of the cabinets. There are also 3 accessible outdoor showers, very wide new concrete pathways to the poolside, and also to the Surf club where there are accessible toilets. There’s also a ramp down onto the sand from the main pathway. The gently slopes ramped access into the pool makes this an ideal place for beach and water lovers.
