The low-lit space revolves around the central wooden bar, big enough to seat a dozen guests counter-style setting with unfixed stools. Canberra Theatre Centre also known as the Canberra Theatre is the Australian Capital Territory’s central performing arts venue.

Mobility assistance is available, if you require access seating at the end of a row, if you need to avoid stairs, or if you would like to make use of the few available wheelchairs in the venue. The theatre need to have seats removed to satisfactorily accommodate wheelchair bookings. In order to maximise access for patrons with disabilities and their accompanying guests they request patrons who book in this area collect their tickets on the day of the performance.  Staff will give priority to people with disabilities who come to the box office for ticket collection.  There are a few wheelchairs available to use at the theatre.

The theatre offers Relaxed Performance which has been adapted to make it more accessible for a range of audience members. The Canberra Centenary Column is an accessible sculpture in City Hill, Canberra. It was built to commemorate the city's centenary, & unveiled on 11 March 2014. The sculpture is an 8.5-metre stainless steel obelisk on a 5-metre-wide granite-dressed concrete base accessed by level paved pathway approach.

The Canberra Centenary Column is surrounded by grassed area with a paved pathway running through.

City Hill is a 5 hectare landscaped hill located in the centre of Canberra, surrounded by Vernon Circle. It is central to the original design of Canberra and features formal tree plantings from the 1920s.

In a symbolic representation as the heart of the national capital, 6 major avenues radiate from City Hill.

Paved level pathways run throughout the park.  At the center of the park is a flagpole flying the ACT flag since 1989. The highest point of City Hill offers views overlooking Lake Burley Griffin. The park is a popular spot for locals to relax, have a picnic, or read a book. It provides shade, grass, and seating for visitors. Dogs are welcome on-leash.

The Canberra Times Fountain by Bob Woodward was commissioned by Federal Capital Press in 1976 & installed as a gift to the people of Canberra in 1979. It is a fountain centrepiece. The tube and rods are of fabricated stainless steel. This dramatic fountain marks the intersection of Ainslie Avenue with City Walk.

The Canberra Carousel is located in Petrie Plaza in the Canberra Central Business District.  

This picturesque carousel delights children & adults alike with its air of olde-worlde charm.  The organ & the fifty two hand carved wooden horses & two elephants were specially imported from Germany. The twisted brass upright poles were made in Scotland.  The horses are four abreast in 14 rows,  two hand carved wooden elephant carriages, one elephant is white the other is grey.  Most of the horses & elephants have names; even Pharlap has his place on the platform.  Beginning life in Melbourne in 1914, the carousel was installed in Canberra in 1974.

The Carousel offers paved pathway approach with limited access to actually ride on the carousel depending on ability.  Unfortunately wheelchair access onto the carousel is not possible.

The building is accessed via paved level pathway approach to step free double frontage doors off London Circuit, with lift access to  the cuban inspired Highball bar.  Inside is spacious with easy access to the bar, plenty of places to sit to take in the elevated view across the city with high tables & stools, lots of warmly lit lanterns, hacienda-style tiled floors & lush greenery.

The Main Bar & Lounge area features velvet teal banquette seating, freestanding tables & stools.  The Terrace offers huge window city views, high tables & stools.   The Casita Bar is Highball's private space with terrace access & dedicated bar.
