84 Union St is an accessible bar and restaurant in Pyrmont. There is step-free access into the restaurant, but not all areas are accessible due to steps. 117 Dining is located in the InterContinental Hotel on Macquarie Street. This fine dining restaurant is generally accessible to wheelchair users, providing step-free entry and lift access. The majority of seating within the venue is accessible and there are also accessible toilets on site. Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel carpark.

Located on the ground floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Urban Orchard is an accessible health food outlet. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout. Urban Orchard has no seating area of its own, but there is accessible seating in the rest of the food court. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities. Designated parking spots can be found in the shopping center carpark.

Fratelli Fresh is a restaurant located in Walsh Bay serving up authentic Italian cuisine. Step-free access is available via the main entrance and around the inside of the venue. There are accessible seating options inside and also tables outside the front of the restaurant. An accessible toilet is also on site.

Located on the promenade leading towards Sydney Opera House, this is a wheelchair friendly cinema. All theatres are wheelchair accessible. 

A dedicated wheelchair space can be found at the back of each theatre. These are unfortunately not shown on the online booking form on their website. To book the accessible seat you’ll need to call the United Cinemas main number ‭02 9970 2626‬.

There is a lift beside the candy bar to each theatre level. 

A wheelchair accessible toilet is located in the lower foyer and is accessible by the lift.

Designated parking spots can be found at the opera house parking at the end of Macquarie Street.

Located in the south lobby of International Tower One, South by Dukes is an accessible cafe. Step-free entry can be gained via the street entrance and via the Tower’s lobby. There is accessible seating located inside and outside, but there are no accessible toilets. However accessible toilets can be found within the tower.

Sydney Cove Oyster Bar is accessible to wheelchair users. It is an exclusively open-air restaurant so finding a table to get to in a wheelchair should not be a problem,  despite the fact that spacing between tables is tight and some may be inaccessible at peak times. But just inform the staff about your visit so they can arrange a special table. There is no accessible toilet on site.

Banksii is a fully accessible restaurant located in Barangaroo. Exceptional cocktails and food! Large ramps from Barangaroo Avenue provide step-free access. There are new accessible toilets shared between the other restaurants next door. There is accessible seating inside and outside with plenty of space between tables. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. There are many accessible public carparks nearby.

Located at the Alfred Street side of Circular Quay train station, Banh You is an accessible Vietnamese street food outlet. There is step-free access to the takeaway counter, which is at a good height for wheelchair users. This is purely a takeaway and there is no seating or toilets available.

Located on the first floor of The Star, Balla is an accessible fine dining restaurant. There is step-free access via a lift from the ground floor lobby. The majority of tables are accessible to wheelchair users. However the room between the tables is restricted. There is step-free access into and around the outdoor venue, which has minimal accessible seating due to benches and bar stools.  If you call the venue before your arrival the staff will be happy to arrange a table for you. There are no accessible toilets in the venue itself but the nearest facilities are located inside The Star.

Megumi Sushi is an accessible takeaway food outlet located in Circular Quay train station. There are no steps leading up to the counter, which is an accessible height for wheelchair users. This is purely a takeaway and there is no seating or toilets available.

Charlotte cafe

The Library Bar is an entertaining place, full of joy, that makes you feel like part of the scene and conjures a sense of friendship in an accessible atmosphere. You enter through Shakespeare Place, into a very wide open space with a corridor that feels like stepping into a fairytale. The entrances are flat, and after passing through the corridor, you’ll find a lift to the left that takes you directly upstairs. This leads to the main entrance, with open thresholds and a smooth, flat surface.

The venue itself is wide and spacious, making it easy to navigate. At the bar, the counter is a little high, but the good part is that they offer table service. You can simply scan the QR code from your table, and they’ll bring the drinks or food directly to you.

If you’d like to freshen up or check your makeup, the accessible toilets are located in the open terrace area, just past the bar. They are spacious, fitted with manual doors, and include a handrail on the left-hand side.

For those who want to go even higher, you can take the inner lift to the upper level of the bar, where you’ll feel closer to the sky — and, if you’re lucky, even spot a shooting star.
