Bolton Point Park is situated on the western side of Lake Macquarie, lined with pine trees & a fantastic view of the lake.  

There is a small unfenced playground on woodchips within the park with a variety of play equipment including slides, swings & roundabouts.

There are four picnic tables dotted across the park and one sheltered picnic area with 2 tables and electric BBQ in the middle.  The park also has a court with a netball & basketball hoop & sealed path that leads through the path ending at the edge of the park changing into an unsealed walking trail.  Follow the trail for a five-minute walk  across a little bridge to arrive at Bolton Point Cricket Oval and Tennis Courts. There is one picnic table at the Oval.

There is a a boat ramp and jetty at the park with beautiful views of Fennel Bay bridge and across to Toronto.  

There are regular public toilets within the park, closest accessible ones can be found at Bay Road Park.  There is a sealed path from carpark to the toilets, hall, jetty and sheltered area. There are no sealed paths to the playground.  A water fountain can be found at the public toilets.

There is a hall at the park that can be hired for parties and events. It has wheelchair access ramp to the inside of the hall and is right next to the playground. Phone Lake Macquarie City Council (02) 4921 0333 for more information. 

Bolton Point Park

Neegulbah Park in Macquarie Hills has a playground nestled in the trees which provide  some shade. There is a large climbing frame with an enclosed  slide & a smaller slide for younger kids.  This climbing frame incorporates a climbing wall, climbing ladder & climbing net to suit a range of ages.

There is a rope spinner, balance equipment including log jump, rope traverse and alligator crossing, & group of swings. 

The park has wood chip, rubber matting, there's plenty of seating areas including sandstone blocks & picnic tables.  There’s plenty of parking behind the park but unfortunately there are no accessible toilets closeby. 

Cardiff Shopping Centre & Stockdale Glendale offer accessible toilets but are around 1.6km away.  

Neegulbah Park Playground

Thomas H Halton Park at Croudace Bay offer an all-abilities, full fenced, lakeside playground with so many to do.  

With a giant pirate ship as it's centrepiece featuring slides, climbing wall, frame, ladders, ramps, bridges, nets, rope tunnels, portholes there is plenty for the kids to entertain themselves.

To the west of the pirate ship is the toddler area..Covered by a sail shade this timber-themed area features swings, rocker, balancing logs, beams & a small fishing boat.  Next to here is the musical area with steel drums & xylophone.  Then onto larger timeber forts with climbing wall, nets , slide, rope tunnel, shaky log bridge & timber seating.

There is a water play area with three water pumps, swing sets, net climbing spinner & accessible roundabout on softfall flooring.

Thomas H Halton is classified as an all-abilities park. This means it’s designed to accommodate the physical and intellectual needs of children and parents.  There are no steps just a wide path throughout the playground providing access.  The pirate ship has a wide ramp to access yhe top deck & the water play is concrete & level along with the roundabout.

An accessible toilet can be found in the park to the left of the toilet block, just outside of the playground behind the pirate ship, along with baby change facilities.  There are BBQs, sheltered picnic tables, water fountains, park benches dotted around.  

Parking can be found at Bareki Road in Croudace Bay, there is also a car park located just north by the Croudace Bay boat ramp.

As well as the playground is a hit-ball wall and half basketball court 350 metres north of the playground & skate park is located 300 metres south. It’s designed as a street plaza style skate park with quarter pipe, flatbanks, hubbas, downrails and manual pad.

Thomas H Halton Park

Pasterfield Sports Complex in Cameron Park is a huge recreation community area that combines a playground, fitness area, netball courts, skate park, AFL & cricket field. 

There is a massive climbing structure, swing set including baby ones & a group swing. There are slides, musical section, spinners & wobblers, accessible by wide flat pathways.  The flooring is a combination of concrete paths, softfall & bark chippings

Between the climbing area & playground are toilets, sheltered picnic tables & bencheswhich are slightly raised for a view of both the playground & courts area. &  & BBQ facilities.  

Down below, there's netball & basketball courts which is also great place for scooters, bikes & wheelchairs.  There is also the stree-style skate park. There is a shared 1km pathway loop & outdoor fitness area near the car park.

There is also an AFL oval, cricket playing surface, cricket practice nets with surf & synthetic practice wickets.. community cwntre with hall, meeting rooms & kitchen.  

Accessible toilets can be found onsite along with parking.  Further accessible toilets can be found at Cameron Park Community Centre both inside & outside.

Amentities include accessible toilet facilities (MLAK), accessible Changing Facility fitted with portable hoist, adjustable bed, toilet & shower (MLAK).
