Gilbert Park sits between Belgrave Street and West Promenade. The park is used for events, such as evening markets. Preserved by Manly Council, Gilbert Park is an ideal location to gain some respite from the fierce sun, covered by the shade of the large fig trees. The park caters for both children and adults, with bench seats and two swing sets.
It is partially accessible. There is step-free access into the park but some grass areas may be inaccessible due to a step around the perimeter. There are toilets located next to the Gilbert Street entrance. There are no picnic areas in the park.

Located on the Wharf forecourt, Manly Visitor Information Centre is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access into and throughout the small centre. There are no toilets on site.
