Located on a slight slope, The Depot is an inaccessible cafe on Campbell Parade in Bondi. The counter and indoor seating area can only be accessed via negotiating a step upon entry. The absence of a portable ramp means only the venue’s outdoor seating can be accessed by wheelchair.

North Bondi RSL is an accessible bar, restaurant and live music venue. The club has step-free access via Ramsgate Avenue and a lift to ensure wheelchair access throughout. 

The space inside is generous - there plenty of inside low tables with lots of space between them and there are also low outside tables on the deck overlooking the beach - a spectacular view!

An Accessible toilet is available on site, although the doorway was partially blocked by stored items when we went. Also beware, the accessible entrance is up a very steep incline pathway from the street front. About a 1 in 4 or more slope!

North Bondi Fish is a popular beachfront restaurant at Bondi Beach, offering a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere with fresh seafood and stunning ocean views—the perfect vibe for a casual yet elegant dining experience.

Located at the end of Ramsgate Avenue in North Bondi, the restaurant is easily accessible, with plenty of nearby parking, including handicap spots close to a curb ramp leading to the footpath and venue entrance. Accessibility is well-marked with clear signage outside the restaurant. The venue itself is on level ground, and a ramp connects the road to the entrance.

Inside, the spacious hallways make it easy to move around, and the attentive staff are happy to assist upon arrival. Guests can enjoy beautiful ocean views while navigating the restaurant’s accessible layout. Accessible restrooms are available, and the route to them is wheelchair-friendly and straightforward. North Bondi Fish offers a fresh, enjoyable seafood experience in a welcoming, accessible setting.

Speedos Café Bondi is a popular café offering a relaxed atmosphere with stunning views, perfect for enjoying a meal by the beach. The café is situated on a slope, with multiple disabled parking spaces located about 50 meters down the road. There is an accessible outdoor dining area, welcoming for guests using wheelchairs. However, the entrance to the café has stairs, making it challenging for those with mobility issues to access the indoor space. While the café does have a restroom, it is small and not suitable for disabled or wheelchair users.

Speedo’s Cafe is an inaccessible eatery situated on the sloping Ramsgate Avenue in Bondi. A large step leading into the venue prevents wheelchair access, while Speedo’s outside tables are also inaccessible owing to the heavy benches used in place of chairs.

To enter the cafe there is a step you do have navigate but once inside the venue is well spaced out to accommodate wheel chairs.

There is a toilet on site, however they are not accessible for a wheel chairs as they are the existing toilets in the building and has a narrow entrance to them.  However, there are accessible toilets at Bondi Pavilion, South & North Bondi Beach.

The outside seating area can be accessed via the street, and the restaurant can only be entered via the ramp outside the Pavilion entrance and making your way along to the restaurant. Some of the venue’s seating is inaccessible due to high benches and stools. The venue doesn’t have accessible toilets but there are some inside the Pavillon.
Next to the venue is the beach carpark which provides several accessible parking spots. 

Lush On Bondi

Sushi Train Bondi Beach is a partially accessible restaurant located at the northern end of Campbell Parade. The conveyor belt is inaccessible for wheelchair users, but there are accessible tables outside of the venue. The restaurant doesn’t have an accessible unisex toilet on site.

Sushi Train Bondi Beach

The closest ocean beach to the centre of Sydney a mere 7km away, Bondi Beach has become synonymous with Sydney's beach lifestyle and is very popular with tourists, daytrippers, backpackers, residents and all Sydneysiders.
Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The promenade that runs along the top of the beach is fully wheelchair accessible and access onto the soft sand can be gained by any of the various ramps along the promenade. The ramp at the northern end of the beach is the least steep.
There is a stand-alone unisex disabled bathroom and disabled toilets in Bondi Pavilion (MLAK key is needed to access this). The ladies and men’s toilets also have a larger stall in each for easy access which do not require a MLAK key.
There is only one beach wheelchair available. It is free for visitors to use. Booking a beach wheelchair is essential by calling 9083 8400 or email: bondipav@waverley.nsw.gov.au

It is located in lockers on the promenade at the northern end of the beach. The lockers provide a secure place to store your own wheelchair while enjoying the beach.

Beach Matting: A portable beach access mat provides independent access to the beach for people who prefer to use their own wheelchair or mobility aid. 

The mat is currently rolled out twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm,

North Bondi is where the locals go to swim and hang out, leaving the main stretch of Bondi Beach to the visiting tourists and backpackers. The beach is looked after by the good folks from North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club. It's also a very popular spot with the boys, who tend to show off their gym efforts. North Bondi Beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access upon entry and throughout the venue, which doesn’t have an accessible toilet. Seating is generously spaced inside the restaurant and most is accessible for wheelchair users.

Anitas is an accessible destination for any ice cream lover. Anita’s boutique ice creams are 100% hand-made from natural ingredients and perfect for a hot summers day. The open-wide doors offer an easy, flat entry point for you to discover their delicious flavours (and yes, you can taste test them too!). There is limited, spacious seating here, however, depending on the time of day, it might get too crowded inside. You do have options to eat out the front or continue strolling down Campbell Parade to take in the beach vibes. QT Bondi is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access and lifts from the entrance on Beach Road. The hotel’s accessible rooms are in the QT Deluxe Range. The rooms feature a roll-in shower equipped with a seat and hand rails.
Make sure to contact the hotel before your stay to ensure there are accessible rooms available. The hotel is surrounded by accessible cafes and food shops.
Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel carpark but there are only limited spaces available.

QT Bondi

Located on the ground floor of the Pacific Bondi Beach complex, Fishbowl Sashimi Bar is an accessible fast food restaurant. There is step-free access into and around the venue, but none of the outlet’s tables are accessible for wheelchairs owing to their height. There are, however, outside tables and some of them are accessible for wheelchair users. The restaurant doesn’t have an accessible unisex toilet on site. Bondi Beach Public Bar is an accessible venue to visit if you want to enjoy their tasty weekly specials, quality happy hour or enjoy some great entertainment. You have the option of sitting inside or outside, however the outside seating uses high stools, The entry is wide enough to fit a wheelchair user or pram and has a mix of high stools and low-level seating available. Tables are spacious, however, this location does bring a crowd so booking ahead is recommended on weekends. There is a ramp available that directs you to the accessible toilet which also includes some additional equipment. It has signage, spacious and well kept inside. No accessible parking nearby but there is street parking located around the venue.

Lamrock Cafe is an inaccessible eatery located just across the road from Bondi Beach. A portable ramp is needed to gain access to the counter and dining area, but the Lamrock does not have this facility. However there is some outside seating available.

Located on Hall Street in Bondi on a slight slope, Le Paris-Go is an accessible cafe. There is step-free access into the venue and to the counter, but not all of the indoor seating can be accessed due to steps and the absence of any lift. The outside tables are partially accessible and there is no toilet on site.

A number of steps at the only entrance to Cafe Bikini in Bondi make the venue inaccessible for wheelchair users. There is also no portable ramp on site to assist with entry.

Mama Saan is an accessible bar and restaurant serving Japanese inspired food with live music played regularly.

A step upon entry to Boost Juice in Bondi prohibits wheelchair users from being able to access the counter. This inaccessible takeaway outlet does not have its own seating area.

Shuk Bondi is a charming bakery with a bright and colorful atmosphere that feels like an Israeli marketplace. This popular spot has several locations in Sydney and is known for its tasty pastries and fresh products.

The Bondi store is on a corner and has plenty of space inside. The main entrance has steps, so it's not wheelchair accessible. However, if you come from Murriverie Road, you can use a ramp on the left side to get inside. There’s also outdoor seating surrounding the venue where you can enjoy your food. Inside, you can get table service or check out the pastries at the counter, which is low enough for everyone to see.

The restrooms are at the back of the store. To reach them, use a small side entrance next to the ramp. This will take you to a backyard where you’ll find wooden doors. The first door on the right leads to the accessible toilet. There’s a cement ramp, but watch out for a small step when entering. The door opens manually from the inside, and there’s enough space for a wheelchair, with handrails on the right side of the toilet.

SHUK BONDI

Moo Gourmet Burgers in Bondi is an inaccessible restaurant. A large step and tight doorway make access impossible via wheelchair. There is also no portable ramp on site.

The famous Bondi Baths have been an historical landmark of Bondi Beach for over 100 years and are open to the public all year round. Featuring both a larger lap pool and smaller kid’s pool, qualified lifeguards are on patrol during opening hours all year round.
Bondi Icebergs pool is accessible to wheelchair users. Entry must be made via the Notts Avenue entrance. The club advise ringing ahead to let them know you’re coming so they can arrange access down to the pool. A bistro is available on site.
Also accessible toilets are provided and the closest parking spots can be found at the beach carpark.

Icebergs Dining Room and Bar is accessible for wheelchair users. The venue itself advises ringing ahead to organise wheelchair access from the street entrance on Notts Avenue. The dining room has some seating which is cramped and may prevent access but you can discuss details with staff members. There are accessible toilets on site. The closest accessible parking spots can be found at the beach carpark.

Icebergs Dining Room And Bar

Bagel Bar & New York Deli is an accessible destination to meet your bagel cravings. Upon arrival, you'll have straightforward, easy entry as the door is always kept open. Once inside, you have low-level table and bench seating that is spacious for a wheelchair user and anyone with a pram. 

There is no toilet on premise and only street parking is available.

Two large steps at the main entrance of Gelbison Pizzeria Ristorante make the Bondi eatery inaccessible via wheelchair. There is a limited amount of outdoor seating, but there is no portable ramp to allow access to the main dining area.

Located at the southern end of Bondi Beach, the Bondi Icebergs Club is an accessible venue offering bistro style cuisine and drinks. Access can only be gained via the street entry on Notts Avenue, and they recommend calling ahead to make the necessary arrangements for wheelchair access. There is seating available inside and also outside. Accessible toilets are provided and the closest parking spots can be found at the beach carpark.

Bills is an accessible restaurant in Bondi serving up modern Australian cuisine. Step-free access is available onto and inside the venue, which also has an accessible toilet. There is a plentiful amount of seating inside and also a number of tables outside the front of Bills.
The closest parking spots can be found in the shopping center carpark nearby.

Fish Shop is an accessible casual restaurant serving fresh and sustainable seafood, salads and vegetable dishes, alongside natural wine and cocktails.

With step free access & outdoor seating the venue is fully accessible.  Alternatively patrons can borrow a picnic blanket & enjoy their takeaway at the newly minted park or head down to Bondi Beach just a few blocks away.  

Accessible toilets can be found at Bondi Pavillion, Ampol North Bondi & North Bondi Beach.  Accessible parking can be found at Park Drive South & Bondi Beach.

FISH SHOP

Located in Bondi Icebergs, The Crabbe Hole is an accessible cafe. Access to the venue can only be gained via the Iceberg’s street entrance on Notts Avenue, and they recommend calling ahead to arrange wheelchair access to the lower level. The cafe has outdoor tables. The cafe itself doesn’t have accessible toilets but  there are accessible toilets within the Iceberg.

The Crabbe Hole

Bondi to Bronte is a 1.5km coastal walk starting on Bondi Beach and ending on Bronte Beach. The walk is inaccessible to wheelchair users as there are a number of steps along the route as well as some very rocky terrain.

Located inside the Beach Road Hotel, Regis Room Cocktail Bar & Restaurant is an accessible venue. Step-free access into the hotel is supplemented by lifts to the parts of the venue which are inaccessible by wheelchair. There is lots of accessible seating in the venue, which has an accessible unisex toilet.
Accessible parking spots can be found in the Hotel´s carpark.

Regis Room Cocktail Bar & Restaurant

Located a stone’s throw away from Bondi Beach, Birichina Cafe is an inaccessible coffee shop. The counter and indoor seating sit on a raised platform from the street, which is inaccessible for wheelchair users. There is some accessible seating outside the cafe.
