Wynyard - Concourse to coles retail space to Wynyard park

This lift sits right in the middle of the main underground pedestrian concourse inside Wynyard train station. It connects the Concourse to the Coles retail space and Wynyard Park.

You can access Wynyard Station from either York Street or George Street. Both streets have nearby accessible parking, bus stations, and wide station entrances.

From York Street, the main concourse is completely underground. You cannot walk directly onto it from the street. You must first take the York Street street-level lift down to the Concourse level.

Once you exit the entry lift, head towards the wide, accessible ticket gates to enter the station concourse. Go straight through the wide gates and continue forward for about 50 metres. Directly in front of you, you will see the lift marked “Lift to street level.” The inside of this lift has enough space for a wheelchair user or other people with mobility needs.

An ccessible toilet is located right next to this main lift on the right-hand side and in other parts of the station. Station staff are also stationed nearby if you need to ask for information or require physical assistance.
