Lift servicing George St, concourse and Hunter Connection, left lift

This lift is located outside the ticket barriers and provides a step-free connection between George Street, the underground station concourse and the Hunter street Connection.

From George Street or Hunter Street, use the flat footpath near the corner of Hunter Street, directly opposite the Wynyard Light Rail stop. Enter the station through the wide, step-free entrance accessible for wheelchairs and other mobility assistive devices.

Once inside the entrance area, look past the main escalators. You will see two lifts side by side. Choose the lift on the left-hand side.

Inside the lift, press “G” (Ground Level) to return to the George Street footpath and the Light Rail lines. Press “C” (Concourse) to travel down to the main public Wynyard Station concourse, from where you can access the Coles retail space, accessible toilets, station staff to ask any questions, etc.
