The Old Fitz Theatre

The Old Fitz Theatre is located at 129 Dowling St, Woolloomooloo, and is part of the Old Fitzroy Hotel and operates out of an intimate basement performance space.

While the traditional main path down from the Dowling Street pub entrance involves narrow stairs, step-free access is available via a separate entrance on the Cathedral Street side of the building; please note this external path sits on a steep, uneven incline. For safe and unhurried access, patrons with mobility needs are advised to request priority entry by emailing [email protected] at least 24 hours before the performance, or by speaking to Front of House staff at the Box Office on Dowling Street on the day. The building does not have internal lifts, and a ground-floor accessible toilet with a tight 73-centimetre doorway can be found inside the main hotel area. No private parking is available, but street parking can be found along the block on Dowling and Cathedral Streets with easy drop off areas.
