    The Old Fitz Theatre

The Old Fitz Theatre is located in the basement of the Fitzroy Hotel on Dowling Street.

It holds 55 patrons, and has allocated space for 13 wheelchairs across the stage. Patrons using wheelchairs or mobility aids can request priority access to the theatre. To have priority access, you can either email the box office more than 24 hours before your event, or speak to a box office staff member on the day. The Box Office is located at the front of the pub on Dowling Street.

The entrance on Dowling Street requires patrons to go up and down multiple flights of stairs, making it inaccessible for wheelchair users. However, there is an accessible entrance on Cathedral Street, which has a ramp into the theatre. There are no lifts into the venue.

Cathedral St entrance is on a slight include and has some uneven concrete.

The doors to the theatre are 73cm-85cm wide, with a pivoting space of 155cm-165cm.

There is one wheelchair accessible bathroom. Its door is 73cm wide. This cannot be accessed during the show due to lock out rules.

There is no dedicated parking, but there is street parking and easy drop off areas on Dowling and Cathedral St.
