Bar Rochford is an inaccessible wine & cocktail bar hidden away in the one of the capital’s oldest buildings, the iconic Melbourne Building.  Being a heritage listed building they are not permitted to install a lift.  However, the staff are more than willing to help anyone with mobility issues, if it's possible, up the stairs to the first floor.  They say they have done it before a number of times, just ask.

Only taking up a small space this little hole in the wall cafe has a few high tables & stools accessed via flat pathway.

Marvie & Wolfe is an accessible cafe (named after the owners children) which uses quality ingredients.  Meats are smoked onsite, they make their own sauces, pickles & condiments & coffee is sourced from boutique Sydney coffee roaster ‘Little Marionette’.

The venue offers step free entry with easy access to the counter with paved pathway approach.  There are outside freestanding low tables & stools with a communal high bench table & stools.

The lunch menu focus' on rolls and salads, with frequently changing specials to make the most of seasonal produce. For brekkie, they have a range of delicious English muffins along with some classic favourites.

Accessible toilets & parking can be found just over 500m away at the Canberra Centre.  There is additional accessible parking at Hobart & Knowles Place.
