    About this place

Taki is an accessible Japanese restaurant located at the Tiger Lane precinct in the Canberra Centre. The Centre offers step free entry to wide automatic glass doors via paved pathway approach.

Taki has a focus on Yakiniku cooked over charcoal, with local and imported Wagyu—all complemented by a contemporary Japanese a la carte menu which includes a Wagyu shabu shabu hotpot & a chicken and seafood hotpot. Divided into three spaces, Taki features a topographic tatami to the left of the restaurant, a kitchen surrounded by fresh produce in the centre, & to the right, the main dining room. Panels of pine timber & stone finishes define the mood in the dining spaces, with sets of mirrors along the walls that merge the boundaries.

There is a mixture of accessible & step access fixed wooden benches & tables. Accessible toilets & parking can be found at the Canberra Centre.
