The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is a green oasis nestled on Sydney Harbour. Home to world leading plant science and stunning horticultural displays. Royal Botanic Gardens is an accessible park and garden. There is step-free access via the Art Gallery Road and Circular Quay entrances. The accessible entrances are Morshead Gate, Victoria Lodge Gate, Yurong Gate, Opera House Gate (via Sydney Opera House forecourt), Queen Elizabeth II Gate (via Sydney Opera House forecourt), Conservatorium Gate and Government House Gate.
If you're visiting The Calyx, the nearest accessible gates are Woolloomooloo Gate or Government House Gate. Parts of the gardens may be inaccessible due to sets of stairs. The Botanic Garden provides several accessible cafes and restaurants. Accessible toilets can be found in Palm Grove Centre, the Mare and Foal Lawn near Farm Cove and in the Calyx.

An accessible Cafe in the middle of the Botanic Gardens, underneath the (more expensive) Botanic Restaurant. 

The Botanic Gardens Café is set within lush garden surrounds and overhanging trees, overlooking the duck pond.

The café offers fresh light meals including gourmet sandwiches, salads, baked goods and great coffee.

Plenty of outdoor seating set in beautiful surrounding gardens. Also quite a lot of accessible indoor seating if it's bad weather.

Nestled in the middle of Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens, this is an accessible restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine. There is a cafe on the lower level with outdoor seating, which is separate from this restaurant above. The venue itself doesn’t have accessible toilets, put accessible toilets are located opposite the restaurant front door, only 5 meters away.

Palm House is an accessible indoor venue located in the Botanic Gardens. It was erected in 1876 and is the oldest glasshouse in New South Wales. Sheltered from the weather and full of natural light, the Palm House is ideal for exhibitions, garden weddings or corporate launches.
Palm House offers step-free access into and throughout the venue. There are no accessible toilets on site but you can find accessible toilets within the Botanic Garden. Cafes and restaurants are also situated in the Botanic Garden.

The Calyx is an accessible exhibit located in the Botanic Gardens. The venue was built around the site of the Arc Glasshouse, in the south western corner of the garden. Intelligent, sensitive architecture has replaced the Tropical Centre pyramid and foyer.
The Calyx is an integrated mix of indoor and outdoor areas, with the exhibitions changing on a regular basis, reinventing itself through emotively themed exhibitions. There is step-free access into and throughout the building. There is a small cafe located in The Calyx, but there are no accessible toilets. Accessible parking bays are provided near the Woolloomooloo Gate and outside the Art Gallery of NSW.

The Calyx

Growing Friend's Nursery is a partially accessible plant shop located in the Botanic Gardens - next to the Maiden Theatre. There is step-free access into and around the shop, but loose soil on the ground may present problems for some wheelchair users. There are no accessible toilets on site but you can find accessible toilets within the Botanic Garden.

Growing Friend's Nursery

Sydney Botanical Gardens - Information Booth is accessible; located just inside the Art Gallery Road entrance. The manned booth has leaflets and maps on helping you to navigate a step-free path through the gardens.

Located next to the Macquarie Street entry to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Piccolo Me is an accessible outdoor cafe. Only accessible via the north side and the Gardens, the venue generously spaced outdoor seating. There is no toilet on site.

The Library Bar is an entertaining place, full of joy, that makes you feel like part of the scene and conjures a sense of friendship in an accessible atmosphere. You enter through Shakespeare Place, into a very wide open space with a corridor that feels like stepping into a fairytale. The entrances are flat, and after passing through the corridor, you’ll find a lift to the left that takes you directly upstairs. This leads to the main entrance, with open thresholds and a smooth, flat surface.

The venue itself is wide and spacious, making it easy to navigate. At the bar, the counter is a little high, but the good part is that they offer table service. You can simply scan the QR code from your table, and they’ll bring the drinks or food directly to you.

If you’d like to freshen up or check your makeup, the accessible toilets are located in the open terrace area, just past the bar. They are spacious, fitted with manual doors, and include a handrail on the left-hand side.

For those who want to go even higher, you can take the inner lift to the upper level of the bar, where you’ll feel closer to the sky — and, if you’re lucky, even spot a shooting star.

The Library Bar

The State Library of New South Wales is a historic and iconic cultural institution in Sydney. It houses an extensive collection of books, manuscripts, and exhibits, offering a space for learning and exploration. The library is also a hub for research, events, and community engagement.

While the main entrance features several steps, a dedicated ramp on the right-hand side provides a wheelchair-friendly path to an elevator for entry. Inside, two elevators allow disabled and wheelchair users to access all floors, with no steps in any exhibition areas. Each level includes a disabled-access restroom, ensuring comfort and convenience. Although the library does not have its own parking, the nearest parking facility is located at Sydney Hospital. Overall, the library is highly accommodating for visitors with disabilities.

The Pavilion is an accessible fine dining restaurant located in the corner of Domain park on Art Gallery Road. Step-free access is available upon entry and throughout the venue, which has plenty of accessible seating both inside and outside. There is an accessible toilet on site.

The Pavilion Restaurant

Located in the Sir Stamford Hotel, is an accessible restaurant Staff will provide a ramp to enable access. Seating is tight and some tables may be inaccessible inside the venue.

InterContinental is accessible to wheelchair users via its Macquarie Street entrance. There are lifts to every floor in the building. Sir Stamford at Circular Quay is inaccessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has no rooms suitable for wheelchair access and not all areas of the hotel can be accessed.

Poolside Cafe is located at the Andrew Boy Charlton Pool on Mrs Macquaries Road on the fringe of the Royal Botanic Gardens. Watch the lapping swimmers from behind the café’s floor to ceiling glass windows or the open-air terrace. There is a disabled parking spot available adjacent to the pool staff parking area for easy level entry into the venue. Accessible toilets are located on the lower pool level and can be accessed via lift.

Located on the ground floor of the gallery, Chiswick is an accessible restaurant. Entry to the gallery is partially accessible. You can't get to some of the tables.  However, there is still plenty of accessible seating and also an accessible unisex toilet. Outside tables are not available.

MOS is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free entry into the museum from the street and forecourt. It offers wheelchair access to all three levels by lift and a unisex accessible toilet on the ground level, located behind reception. Collect the Visitors Guide which shows the location of the lift, toilet and AGL Theatre. The MOS Café is located on site and seating spills out onto the Forecourt. The MOS Shop is adjacent to the entry reception area. There is no onsite parking or drop off area. The nearest commercial car spaces are expensive alternatives, include the Governor Phillip Tower basement car park (next door), The Intercontinental Hotel (across the road) or The Opera House car park.

Museum Of Sydney

The Spice Room is an accessible Indian restaurant on the corner of Alfred Street. A ramp outside of the Quay Building next door provides access to the main entrance. The Quay Building also has a lift in the lobby which will take you to the restaurant - the main entrance to the restaurant has stairs only.
The space inside is restricted but call in advance and staff will make sure you have a table that is easy to get to. 
Accessible toilets are available in site. Designated parking spots can be found in the Enacon carpark on Macquarie Street.

The Spice Room

St. Georges is an accessible open-air cinema located in the Botanic Gardens. The cinema runs for a few months every summer and then packs away for the rest of the year. Wheelchair access is available to the front row of the grandstand, the restaurant and bar, and there are toilet facilities. Please book your tickets as usual through Ticketmaster, on 136 100 or at the website. Once you have made your booking, please email them for assistance on the night. There is no wheelchair access to the corporate deck, and prams are not permitted in the grandstand.

St.George open air cinema

Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access into the venue, to the changing rooms and to the cafe. The walkway to the entrance has a shallow incline to the reception area. The walkway is wide and accessible for wheelchair users and those using mobility aids. 

There are handrails on either side of the walkway and the floor is studded to prevent falls or slips. There is also one unisex family room and an accessible change room and bathroom facility at the centre. There is a 30cm blocked lip on the edge of the pool. You can find an inclined ramp at the shallow end of the pool for ease of accessibility for those that may find the 30cm blocked lip limits their access.

If required there is a mobility ladder and accessibility hoist situated in the shallow end of the 50-metre lap swimming pool. Please notify staff if you require assistance in accessing the pool with the aid of the hoist.

There is also a designated accessible parking space adjacent to the entrance and there is street parking available along Mrs Macquarie’s Road next to the centre.

With views of Sydney Harbour, Cahill Expressway Lookout is accessible to wheelchair users. 

Located on the Harbour side of the busy road, the lookout point is step-free and offers a great vantage point. The lift to Cahill Expressway can be found in the southeast corner of Circular Quay, close to Wharf 1. There are public accessible toilets nearby, next to the train station. Closest accessible parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street or the Enacon carpark on 117 Macquarie Street.

Eastbank Cafe is an accessible waterfront restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which offers accessible indoor and outdoor seating. The space is in some parts restricted but the staff members will be happy to allocate the tables for you. There is also an accessible toilet on the premises.

Eastbank

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Every level of the hotel is accessible via wheelchair and there are unisex toilets throughout the building. The one bedroom Garden View Suite is the hotel’s only designated accessible suite and it features a roll-in shower, hand rails around the bathroom and plenty of space to maneuver in the room. Accessible toilet on level 2. 

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour

Located on the lower level of the Pullman Quay Grand, Q Dining is a restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine. Lifts in each of the hotel’s two lobby areas will provide access to the venue. Most seating in the dining area is accessible with step-free access. There are also unisex toilets on site.

Hacienda Bar is an accessible restaurant located in the Pullman Quay Grand. A lift in the hotel’s lobby will take you to the venue on the third floor, where another accessible lift will take you to the entrance. Space inside the restaurant is tight and some tables may be inaccessible at peak times.

Hacienda Bar Sydney

The Domain is the venue for large-scale events such as Opera in the Park during the Festival of Sydney in January and Carols by Candlelight in December each year.
The main part of the parkland takes in the peninsula on the eastern flank of the Royal Botanic Gardens, just next to Mrs Macquarie's Point.Domain is an accessible park on St Marys Road. There is step-free access into and around the park, which has a varying gradient throughout. There are accessible toilets but the cubicles are very small and barely provide enough room for a wheelchair. There are no restaurants or cafes nearby but when you enter the Botanic Garden you will find some indoor and outdoor venues. Picnic areas can be found on site.

The Domain

The Gallery presents fine international and Australian art in one of the most beautiful art museums in the world. It displays modern and contemporary works in expansive, light-filled spaces. It is largely accessible to wheelchair users. There is a dramatic semicircular ramp to the right of the front stone steps providing access into the building and there are ramps inside providing access to the various exhibits. Lifts provide access to the various floors and down to the gallery cafe and gift shop. Most tables in Chiswick, the gallery restaurant, are also accessible. There are also unisex toilets on site. Parts of the research library and archive are not accessible. There are two disabled parking spaces at front of the Gallery, two at rear.

The opera opens for a short period every summer and then packs away for the rest of the year (wheelchair access may vary year-on-year).

There is a dedicated access lift as well as accessible amenities. Site maps indicating these facilities as well as access drop-off points, and a seating plan showing accessible seating, are available on the website. The opera is surrounded by cafes, bistros and restaurants where you can eat before the opera begins. There are approximately 200 metered parking spaces on Mrs Macquaries Road, although this is likely to be a highly congested area post the event. Alternative metered parking is available on Hospital Road and Macquarie Street, which are also within rolling distance of the venue. The Domain Car Park is the closest undercover car park available.

Buckley’s is an accessible bar and restaurant located on the waterfront at Circular Quay. Entry and access throughout the venue is step-free. Some tables are inaccessible both inside and outside, but most can be accessed via wheelchair. The venue also has accessible toilets, which are located next to the bar.

Gelatissimo is an accessible ice cream kiosk in Circular Quay. The counter is accessible by wheelchair, but the outlet is purely a takeaway kiosk and there is no seating area or toilets available.

Located in Customs House, Young Alfred is an accessible bar and restaurant serving Italian cuisine. Ramps outside the front of Customs House enable access to the entrance and indoor seating area. The venue also features an outside seating area and accessible unisex toilets.

Searock Grill is a wheelchair accessible restaurant in Circular Quay. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which has an accessible toilet on site. There are also accessible seating areas inside and outside of the restaurant. The space is restricted but it is no problem for the staff members to allocate the tables to ensure there is enough room to maneuver with a wheelchair.
Accessible parking can be found in the Wilson carpark around 250 meters away.

Searock Grill

Customs House is a fully accessible library and information centre located across the road from Circular Quay train station. There is step-free access via a ramp outside the main entrance and a lift providing step-free access to each floor inside. Customs House also has accessible toilets, as well as being home to three restaurants.

A lift in the lobby of Customs House takes you up to the front desk of Cafe Sydney (Customs House is a fully accessible library and information centre located across the road from Circular Quay train station). Ramp access is available at the main entrance of the building via 2 ramps. In Cafe Sydney itself,  a limited range of seating is available due to stairs in some parts. There are accessible toilets on site. Customs House has two unisex accessible toilets. One can be found on the ground floor behind the magazine collection. The other on level 1 and has a left hand side transfer. There is no on-site dedicated accessible parking at Customs House. There are 2 on-street mobility parking spaces 250m away on the western side of Pitt Street, south of Alfred Street. The closest paid public parking stations are behind the Gateway building (Underwood Street opposite the Marriott Hotel on Pitt Street), the Sir Stamford Hotel (93 Macquarie Street) and the Sydney Opera House. Access from the street is easy and the area nearby is flat all the way from Circular Quay station.

Cafe Sydney

Serving modern Australian and international cuisine from their waterfront location in Circular Quay, City Extra is an accessible restaurant. Entry into the venue is step-free, but space is at a premium inside and a large amount of tables are inaccessible. Additional seating is available outside the venue. The establishments toilets are on the second floor, which is only accessible via stairs.

Located on the ground floor of Customs House, Quay Bar is an accessible cocktail bar and restaurant. Ramps at the front of the building lead you to the restaurant’s indoor dining area. There is also a large, accessible outdoor seating area on the forecourt of the building. Room between the tables is generous and in case there isn't enough just inform the staff and they will allocate the tables. All tables have wheels so it is easy to move them. Accessible toilets can be found on site but they are not specifically for wheelchair users. 
The venue is surrounded by many construction sites therefore it is not easy to find a designated parking spot but there will be spots at the opera.

Circular Quay, Wharf 3 is an accessible ferry terminal. There is step-free access into and throughout the terminal, which is fully manned and has a portable boarding ramp to enable wheelchair access onto the ferries.

The Jessie Street Gardens is a small inner-city park located on Loftus Street, a short distance from Circular Quay. Jessie Street Gardens is an accessible park located outside Gateway shopping complex. There is step-free access onto and throughout the plot, which has several benches. The terrain is hard and flat. There are no toilets in the park.

East Chinese is an accessible restaurant with step-free access to the counter and indoor dining area. The space is tight and some tables may be inaccessible at peak times therefore inform the venue about your visit and they will try to allocate the tables. There is also accessible seating outside the restaurant but not always so it is better to call the venue before. Shared accessible toilets can be found nearby.

East Chinese Restaurant

The Macquarie Place Park is an heritage-listed, small triangular urban park located in the central business district of Sydney. The park is situated on the corner of Bridge Street and Loftus Street. It is named in honour of Governor Lachlan Macquarie. Macquarie Place Park is a partially accessible park. There is step-free access via Bridge Street, but not all areas are step-free and therefore inaccessible. In the accessible parts the terrain is hard and flat. The park is surrounded by a few accessible Cafés which is nice for a break. There are no playgrounds, picnic areas or barbecue areas in the park. Also accessible toilets are not available. The closest accessible parking facilities can be found in the Wilson carpark on Underwood Street.

Macquarie Place Park

A fully accessible station. Beyond the entry barriers are four lifts to the left and right taking you to the two platforms. It is worth bearing in mind that, at certain times, the volume of people and tourists with suitcases means that you might have to wait for an empty lift.

Circular Quay Station

Martin Place Station is accessible to wheelchair users. Step-free access is gained via a lift between Phillip Street and Macquarie Street - not all entrances are step-free. There are lifts down to the platform and a portable boarding ramp onto the train. 

The new reforms in Martin Place station have modified and improved the accessibility of the site. There are two loft access in the aforementioned streets and the station is gully navigable with help centers, toilets in all floors and lifts connecting all parts of the street- concours- platforms

Located on Loftus Street, Paragon Hotel is an accessible restaurant serving a range of pub staples. The restaurant level on the top floor is currently undergoing a refurbishment but it will be fully accessible to wheelchair users when it opens again later in 2017. While the kitchen is closed, there is a pop-up food truck operating on the ground floor.

Serving coffee, sandwiches and pastries from the Alfred Street side of Circular Quay train station, Ground Control Cafe is accessible to wheelchair users. Entry is step-free and the counter is accessible, but the seating area is very cramped for space. There is no outdoor seating and no toilet on site.

Located on the ground floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Top Juice is an accessible juice and snack bar. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout. Top Juice has no seating area of its own, but there is accessible seating in the rest of the food court. Falafel & Shawarma, located at 2 Alfred Street, Circular Quay, is situated in a generally accessible area close to public transport, including the Circular Quay train and light rail stations, both of which offer step-free access and lifts. The surrounding footpaths are mostly flat and smooth, making it easier for wheelchair users to navigate, though some nearby areas may have slight gradients. Accessible public toilets are available nearby at Circular Quay Station, and mobility parking spaces can be found in nearby Wilson car parks and along Alfred Street.

Cabrito Coffee Traders is an accessible cafe located in Bulletin Place. The entrance to the venue is step-free and provides access to the counter and a small seating area. There is also a small seating area outside. There are no toilets at Cabrito Coffee Traders.

All of the outlet’s seating area is accessible to wheelchair users. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities.

Bread & Fill

A newly built accessible unisex toilet in the Gateway centre. Clean, roomy with a large turning circle inside. Long wide corridors to the doorway. Follow the toilet signs from next to Gozleme Co and it's off to the right side through the double doors (which are always open). Gateway is open 7am-11:30pm Mon-Fri, 8am-11:30pm Sat/Sun.

Customs House Bar is an accessible restaurant and bar. There is step-free access into the main bar area, but some parts of the dining area are inaccessible due to steps and the absence of any ramps or lifts. In the outdoor seating area, the use of high benches means only a small number of tables are accessible. But inform the venue about your visit and staff can arrange a table inside or outside. An accessible toilet is available on site.
Designated parking can be found around 200 metres away in the Wilson carpark.

Customs House Bar

An accessible Italian eatery in Circular Quay, Rossini Restaurant offers step-free access into the venue. There is a range of accessible seating inside and outside the restaurant.

Tucked away in a narrow alley way on Bulletin Place, Tapavino is a bar that is accessible to wheelchair users. But,  access is extremely limited inside the small bar area, and the venue’s toilets are up a flight of stairs. There is some accessible seating outside the restaurant.
Designated parking can be found in the Wilson carpark at the Atrium.

Silvester’s is an accessible fine dining restaurant in the Sydney Marriott Harbour hotel. Lifts provide access from the hotel lobby to the restaurant, and they also take you to the accessible unisex toilets on level two. The space inside is restricted but staff will make sure you have a table that is easy to get to.

Silvester's

Artspace Visual Arts Centre is an universally accessible space dedicated to the production and presentation of contemporary art in a critical context.  

 Situated on the waterfront between the escarpment of Potts Point and the Domain Hill.  The entrance to Artspace is easily accessible for wheelchairs, prams and buggies. There is lift access from the ground floor to the first and second floors in The Gunnery building.

Pedestrian access from the Art Gallery of New South Wales to Artspace is via public stairs next to the Ausgrid substation on Lincoln Crescent. Disabled access is via steep gradient behind the Art Gallery of New South Wales onto a pedestrian bridge to a lift on Bourke Street. If you wish to avoid steps, they recommend you come by car, taxi or bus.

Artspace has accessible restrooms in each floor that are easy to reach. At the back of the furthest art room on the ground floor you can find wide accessible toilets. In the first floor, after the lift you turn left and after the corridor you can find accessible toilets. Signs are provided.

Artspace is closed on Mondays and on the following public holidays: Easter Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day.

Admission to exhibitions and public programs is always free.

There is limited metered parking available at the entrance to Artspace on Cowper Wharf Road and at the rear of the building on Bland Street. The publicly accessible Domain Car Park is approximately a 10 minute walk from Artspace.

Artspace

Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay may be accessible to some wheelchair users. There is no designated accessible room but there are rooms with roll in showers.
There is step-free access into and around the building - apart from the Fitness Centre, which is inaccessible. There are lifts to provide easy access to each floor. Around the hotel there are many accessible shops and cafes available. The hotel also has its own restaurant which is accessible.  The Mariott offers accessible rooms with wider doorways and roll-in showers. Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel own carpark.

A spectacular semi open-air bar, cafe, and restaurant, with one of the best views in Sydney - right on the waterside with a perfect view of the Harbour bridge!

Part of the Sydney Opera House complex, it’s reachable in three main ways; either by strolling along Circular Quay (there is an entrance ramp directly alongside the water) or from the main parking for the Opera House, or from the Opera House directly (take the main lift to the lower ground floor).

The space is partially indoor and outdoor, there are many outdoor tables that are accessible with plenty of space between chairs to manoeuvre, but some areas (a few outdoor tables up steps) are inaccessible.

Those people in wheelchairs might want to avoid going here at peak times (eg Friday evenings; particularly sunny ones) because it gets very full.

There are well maintained accessible toilets at the Opera bar itself and in the Opera Kitchen and Opera House, both very nearby.

Circular Quay, Wharf 5 is an accessible ferry terminal. There is step-free access into and throughout the terminal, which is fully manned and has a portable boarding ramp to enable wheelchair access onto the ferries.

An accessible Women's toilet at Circular Quay, near the station. Located just inside the Women's toilet entrance, it has a standard door width and inward swing-opening door. Men's accessible toilet located separately inside the entrance to the Men's toilets nearby.

Located on Pitt Street the venue is an accessible bar and restaurant. There is a ramp just at the entrance to aid entry. There are some accessible tables outside the venue. There is also an accessible toilet.

Circular Quay, Wharf 6 is an accessible ferry terminal. There is step-free access into and throughout the terminal, which is fully manned and has a portable boarding ramp to enable wheelchair access onto the ferries.

Located in the shadow of the Sydney Opera House, the Opera Kitchen is an accessible restaurant and bar. Lifts at the Opera House itself provide access down to the venue, which has ramps throughout the premises to enable wheelchair access to all parts of the seating area. There are also unisex toilets.

First Fleet Park provides a great vantage point to view the comings and goings of Sydney's ferries and jetcats. First Fleet Park is an accessible park located on George Street. There is step-free access via entrances from Circular Quay and Alfred Street. The terrain is hard and flat. Plenty of accessible cafes and eateries can be found at Circular Quay and The Rocks. There is no toilet located at the park, the closest facilities are at Circular Quay Train Station.
Designated accessible parking spaces for visitors with RTA permits are located at: Cumberland Street, Harrington Street, George Street, Hickson Road.

First Fleet Park


The public toilets located at Opera Kitchen are fully accessible to wheelchair users. Located near the entrance furthest away from the Opera House, the unisex facilities do not require an MLAK key to use. Designated parking spots can be found at the opera carpark.

Cinemas & Theatres

There are five main venues within the Sydney Opera House. The two largest - The Concert Hall and The Joan Sutherland Theatre, are both on the first floor. The three smaller venues; The Drama Theatre, The Playhouse, and The Studio are on the ground floor.

The Concert Hall and The Joan Sutherland Theatre are both accessed via a large lift from the ground floor, which can be reached through a passageway under the Monumental Steps, or directly from the Western Concourse. If you are coming from the lower ground level (with many bars and the car park), you take the same lift.

The Drama Theatre, The Playhouse, and The Studio are also accessed via the Monumental Steps, or more directly, through through the several pairs of automatic double glass doors that line the western side of the building, on the Western Concourse. Again, If you are coming from the lower ground level , you take the same lift.

There are accessible toilet facilities (with automatic doors) on every level, and also one backstage for the use of mobility impaired patrons of the two larger venues during intervals. There are 11 designated accessible parking spaces on Level 1 and 12 on Level 6 of the carpark. RMS permit is required.

Given the long cobbled approach to the building, there is also a courtesy shuttle bus service; Opera House staff are on hand to arrange transfers to the building via a wheelchair-accessible shuttle service from the taxi drop-off point.

Sydney Opera House

Graze is an accessible restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue, which offers accessible seating inside and out. There are also accessible toilets on site. 
Accessible parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark at the overseas passenger terminal.

Graze MCA

The Museum of Contemporary Art is fully accessible to the mobility impaired. You can access the MCA via the George Street entrance or via a ramp from Circular Quay. All public areas of the museum, including the MCA Store, MCA Café and restaurant and galleries are accessible via lifts. You can borrow wheelchairs at no charge from the Information Desk on level 1. 

Fully accessible toilets are located on the ground level, levels 2 and 3, level 4 Cafe, level 6 Rooftop Venues and in the National Centre for Creative Learning. 

Parking is available a short distance from the museum at Wilson Parking, 155 George Street, The Rocks. More parking can be found at Wilson Parking Grosvenor Place, 225 George Street, The Rocks. 

Museum Of Contemporary Art (MCA)

The Push is on the ground floor of the Russell Hotel building, situated at the gateway to the Rocks area, 
Several steps meet you upon arrival at The Push, but there is a portable ramp on the premises which staff will be happy to assist you with. Space is at a premium inside and some of the tables may be inaccessible at peak times and there is no accessible toilet on site.

The Morrison Bar and Oyster Room is nestled in the heart of Sydney’s CBD and is an accessible restaurant and bar located on George Street. There is an extra entry for wheelchair users with wider doorframe and a small “ramp“ leading into the venue. The space inside is very restricted. There is only one table within the venue which is accessible. You definitely have to inform the venue before your arrival as they have to prepare and allocate the tables to ensure that there is enough room to maneuver. There is an accessible toilet on site. 
Designated parking spots can be found around 100 meters away in the Wilson carpark.

The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room

The Russell Hotel is accessible to wheelchair users from the rear entrance. It offers a small amount of wheelchair friendly rooms with roll in showers. However the rooms are pretty small and there is not much space to maneuver within the room. There are two pubs within the hotel which are accessible by wheelchair. There are also plenty of shops and cafes in the immediate surrounding.
The venue does have its own car park which is free of charge but without designated accessible parking spots. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Assistance may be required because there are slopes/ramps. But there is also a Wilson carpark nearby.

The Russell Hotel

Upon arrival at the Fortune of War, staff will aid your entry into the venue with a portable ramp. There is also a lift that takes you to the terrace, where the accessible toilet is located. Seating is tight but there are accessible tables in the dining area and the terrace.#

Access is via stairs from George Street with accessible access via rear courtyard. A flat wide laneway leads to the rear courtyard. An accessible toilet is also located in the rear courtyard.
