Stepping Stone is a semi accessible vegetarian social enterprise cafe located in Hawdon Place, Dickson.  There are steps into the main building, however there are outdoor tables and seating in gardens of the 1920s Homestead.

Stepping Stone operates a sustainable food business while providing hospitality-based employment, on-the-job training, and partnering with registered organisations to offer certified qualifications to women who face multiple barriers when seeking stable employment.

Residents can apply for permanent or casual roles at the café. They gain an income, hands-on experience and skills and qualifications through registered training organisations.

Stepping Stone is designed to be welcoming and supportive for migrant, refugee, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. It offers flexible rostering, adaptive training tools, on-the-job training and a menu that reflects the cultural diversity of the staff.

The market is located at the Exhibition Park in Canberra & held every Saturday morning from 7am-11.30am.  Access around the market although accessible can be awkward when really busy.

Capital Region Farmers Market

Mount Ainslie Lookout is the best lookout to take in the best vistas Canberra has to offer during the day or  at dusk.  This is the place to see the deliberate, geometric layout that makes Canberra so special!

Mt. Ainslie lookout features two paved ramps on either side of its stairs so that people using wheelchairs or pushing strollers can access its observation deck. 

At the summit there is  a drinking fountain available & picnic tables .

No Toilets available. Accessible bathrooms would be  a car ride to the Australian War Memorial. OPEN: 10am-4pm

Mount Ainslie Lookout

Remembrance Nature Park,  commemorates the signing of the armistice on 11 November 1918 and the Aboriginal people who served in the armed forces. In the park there's a plaque dedicated to all the Aboriginal to serve in the armed forces.

The park has great views of the War Memorial and some lovely gardens. The park has electric bbqs some  picnic tables have shades , bins provided and freshwater is located next to the bbqs.

The terrain is mixture of paved and dirt , many walking trails available but not wheelchair accessible , as too steep and stairs. 

No toilets available at the park but The Australian Memorial have toilets available that are wheelchair accessible only 4 minute car ride, Parking available underground Open 10am to  4pm .

Remembrance Nature Park

Mount Majura Vineyard is a rustic vineyard that has been around since  1988, They are opened for wine tasting 7 days a week.  10 am to 5pm everyday

They offer a  seated tasting $20 per person and includes around 6 wines and a small produce platter. Max 10 people,
