Jam Record Bar is a vibrant, Tokyo-inspired vinyl bar located at 320 George Street in Sydney’s CBD,  The bar is relatively small, with only about 40 seats and a walk-in-only policy, which can make it crowded, especially during peak times. The venue’s popularity and compact layout may present challenges for wheelchair users or those with mobility needs, particularly if the space is crowded. 

The restaurant is located opposite the train station, in George Street so parking or drop off directly in front of the venue is not accessible if you come by private transport. However, accessibility is quite easy if you decide to come by train, since it stops nearby and surfaces are flat enough to allow easy access. The closest accessible parking is located in 86-88 Pitt Street, Eastside, between Angel Place and Hunter Street and all you need is to cross the street trough Angel Place and get to Jam Bar.The entrance is small but flat and accessible, with no stairs, making it easy to use. Inside, the restaurant has sufficient space to manoeuvre but it can be challenging. There are some small tables outside the restaurant( easier for mobility devices to come in), inside it might be trickier due to narrow corridors and the restricted space. The toilet has been adapted to  accessibility means but to get to the toilet, the corridors are extremely tight and you might have to ask people to get closer to the bar.

It has two street-level entrances from Pitt Street and George Street (via Ash Street). The Pitt Street entrance has no steps and leads straight into the Box Office and Foyer. The George Street entrance involves steps but also has an accessible lift.

City Recital Hall is committed to making events accessible to all audiences. The auditorium has designated wheelchair positions, hearing loops, and it welcomes patrons with Companion Cards or Assistance Animals. 
 

City Recital Hall is within five hundred metres from Wynyard and Martin Place train stations and Wynyard light rail station. There are also bus stops along Martin Place.


A drop-off and pick up point is located at the Pitt Street entrance. City Recital Hall is serviced by a taxi rank outside the venue on Pitt Street.


There are two public accessible parking spaces on Pitt Street near the corner of Angel Place. These spaces cannot be booked.

Wilson Parking operates a car park next to City Recital Hall at 123 Pitt St, Sydney. Parking spaces can be booked online ahead of time. Accessible parking spaces are located by the lifts, that you can use to access the Hall from one hour prior to the performance times.

Please be aware that City Recital Hall allows for standing or dancing during events in all sections.

City Recital Hall has four levels open to the general public, all of which are accessible via lifts. Patrons with limited mobility please take note of the step count between levels.

City Recital Hall

There are six entrances to Wynyard station (useful to know because they span a steep hill). All of them are accessible: the main entrances on George Street (the concourse is reached by a wide gentle ramp) and the walkway to the Barangaroo precinct, the quieter York Street, Kent Street (closed on weekends), and Clarence Street entrances (concourse reached by lift), and the much smaller Harrington Street entrance (concourse reached by lift).


Wynyard Station

Nespresso encourages coffee enthusiasts to visit their barista-quality Boutique in Sydney’s CBD. Customers can explore premium coffee on-site, sample the new origin blends and experimental varieties, and discover state-of-the-art machines and accessories—all while receiving exceptional, personalized customer service.

The main entrance has a few steps, but there is a side entry on Barrack Street with a wide, flat threshold that opens outward, allowing for easy access for those with mobility needs. The spacious welcoming area is easy to navigate, with ample room to explore displays featuring Nespresso machines and accessories.

For a complete experience, the shop’s upper level offers an on-site tasting area where visitors can sample coffees to find their ideal blend. This elevated platform is accessible by an in-store lift, ensuring everyone can enjoy the tasting experience without difficulty. The entire shop is fully accessible, and the attentive staff strive to make every visit exceptional.

Nespresso Boutique Sydney

Bar Bellacinno is an accessible cafe located on Pitt Street. 
There is a ramp to the side of the cafe which permits access to the counter and indoor seating area and limited seating at the back. There are no tables outside the venue, which doesn’t have any accessible toilets.
There is even a small takeaway store next door to grab shopping on the way home.
Designated parking spots can be found around 50 meters away in the Wilson carpark.

Bar Bellacinno

The Starbucks in Wynyard is a popular spot for locals and commuters. Located on the corner of York and Margaret Streets in the Wynyard precinct, this Starbucks café is a favorite for workers and students looking to focus on their tasks with a nice origin blend coffee or hot drink.

The main entrance has a few steps, which may present a challenge for those with mobility restrictions. However, there is an accessible entrance through the building next door at 11 York Street, right next to the train station. You can notify the staff beforehand, or simply let them know upon arrival—they will guide you to the accessible entry. The staff will open the glass doors and ensure the space is comfortable for you.

Restrooms are available at Wynyard train station, just a couple of hundred meters from Starbucks’ accessible entrance.

The Republic Hotel

Condor Japanese Restaurant in Sydney's Wynyard area offers a cozy dining experience with a diverse menu of traditional Japanese dishes, specializing in sushi, ramen, and bento boxes. 

While Condor is a popular spot, accessibility may be limited. The entrance is somewhat narrow, and there is a step that could pose challenges for visitors with mobility needs. Inside, the step at the entry makes the venue inaccessible. Although tables are closely arranged in the outdoors, people with reduced mobility can still manage to be served a nice asian style popular dish from locals who keep their traditions in food. 

The venue does not provide toilets on site. Nevertheless, they can give you access to the toilets at the back of the premises. The attentive staff are generally willing to assist and accommodate wherever possible. You might be able to reach the toilets if you travel around the building, the paths are flat but the toilet isn't step-free. Despite the step being minimal, you need to be aware of its existence. To make it shorter, toilets are reachable for people presenting small mobility issues or having devices, however, they are far from the shop(on a wheelchair since people walking can trespass through the shop to the back), it is possible but not hassle-free ensured.the toilets do not have handrails and space is quite narrow but still doable.

 It’s recommended to call ahead to discuss specific needs for a comfortable dining experience.

Piccolo Me Bridge St

The Morrison Bar and Oyster Room is nestled in the heart of Sydney’s CBD and is an accessible restaurant and bar located on George Street. There is an extra entry for wheelchair users with wider doorframe and a small “ramp“ leading into the venue. The space inside is very restricted. There is only one table within the venue which is accessible. You definitely have to inform the venue before your arrival as they have to prepare and allocate the tables to ensure that there is enough room to maneuver. There is an accessible toilet on site. 
Designated parking spots can be found around 100 meters away in the Wilson carpark.

An easy to access café in the lobby on 347 Kent Street.  The doors to the lobby are automatic and slide open, with wide access.  There is no alternative access.  There are several tables that are spaced apart from each other, wide enough to fit a wheelchair at.  All the tables are low.  There is no toilet.  The staff are also very accommodating in general. Parking is limited as it is located in the CBD.

Martin Place Station is accessible to wheelchair users. Step-free access is gained via a lift between Phillip Street and Macquarie Street - not all entrances are step-free. There are lifts down to the platform and a portable boarding ramp onto the train. 

The new reforms in Martin Place station have modified and improved the accessibility of the site. There are two loft access in the aforementioned streets and the station is gully navigable with help centers, toilets in all floors and lifts connecting all parts of the street- concours- platforms

At the rear of the Grovesnor Place courtyard, Grand Duk is a venue that is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access into the side entrance of the restaurant, to the outdoor terrace and to the counter and indoor seating area. There are no toilets on site, but there are accessible public facilities in the courtyard. Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on Harrington Street.

Customs House Bar is an accessible restaurant and bar. There is step-free access into the main bar area, but some parts of the dining area are inaccessible due to steps and the absence of any ramps or lifts. Not all tables inside are accessible and the space is restricted but the tables can be allocated to ensure more room to maneuver. However there are a few outside tables available.

Belgian Beer Cafe Heritage is a two-storey bar and restaurant that is partly accessible to wheelchair users. The ground floor is step-free, but there is no lift to the upper level. The majority of the seating is tightly packed but accessible. There are no outside tables.
Accessible Unisex toilets can be found on site and designated parking spots are available in the Rocks carpark.

Stairs throughout UPSTAIRS @ The Basement prevent access to the bar areas. There is step-free entry, which takes you into a small seating area. There are also tables outside, but the use of high benches mean these are inaccessible for wheelchair users.

Step-free access into the Bristol Arms Hotel can only be gained via the bistro entrance on Slip Street, which is just off Sussex Street. Bristol Arms is made up of three distinct spaces. At top of the hotel sits the Bristol Rooftop with its spacious indoor and outdoor areas. The ground floor hosts the Public Bar and TAB, with big screens throughout to show all sport, and a beer garden. 
The bistro level is the only floor accessible by wheelchair, meaning the bar and terrace areas are inaccessible. There are toilets on the bistro level, but they are not designated accessible.

Bristol Arms Hotel

Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay may be accessible to some wheelchair users. There is no designated accessible room but there are rooms with roll in showers.
There is step-free access into and around the building - apart from the Fitness Centre, which is inaccessible. There are lifts to provide easy access to each floor. Around the hotel there are many accessible shops and cafes available. The hotel also has its own restaurant which is accessible.  The Mariott offers accessible rooms with wider doorways and roll-in showers. Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel own carpark.

Yayoi Garden is an accessible Japanese restaurant situated on Bridge Street with the Japanese garden as its centrepiece.  
Step-free access into and throughout the venue is complimented by plenty of accessible seating. There is also an accessible toilet on site.

The Macquarie Place Park is an heritage-listed, small triangular urban park located in the central business district of Sydney. The park is situated on the corner of Bridge Street and Loftus Street. It is named in honour of Governor Lachlan Macquarie. Macquarie Place Park is a partially accessible park. There is step-free access via Bridge Street, but not all areas are step-free and therefore inaccessible. In the accessible parts the terrain is hard and flat. The park is surrounded by a few accessible Cafés which is nice for a break. There are no playgrounds, picnic areas or barbecue areas in the park. Also accessible toilets are not available. The closest accessible parking facilities can be found in the Wilson carpark on Underwood Street.

Macquarie Place Park

Alleyway is a small workers’ bar located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. You’ll find it next to the Salesforce precinct, on the lower ground floor of 180 George Street. It’s a hidden gem, as you need to go down one level from street level to spot it.

To get there, look to the right for the staircase and take the lift down one level. Turn left, and the very first place you’ll see is Alleyway. The toilets are right next to the lift—please ask the friendly staff for assistance; they’re always happy to help!

The venue is on a flat level and has enough space to accommodate any mobility device. The tables are a little close together, but the staff are always willing to assist to ensure you have a comfortable experience. We highly recommend arriving by tram (between Circular Quay and Wynyard tram stations) or from Circular Quay if you plan to stay in the area.

Alleyway

Being located in a heritage listed building has rendered Alfredo's at Bulletin Place inaccessible for wheelchair users. The restaurant has no facilities to assist access into the main dining area. However, there are a number of accessible tables outside Alfredo’s. The closest accessible parking options can be found in the Wilson carpark on Harrington Street.

Ibis Sydney King Street Wharf features 91 modern rooms, with easy access to Sydney buses, ferries and trains as well as the Sydney Aquarium, Wildlife World, Imax Theatre, Sydney Showboats, Australian National Maritime Museum and Circular Quay.
Located on Shelley Street, ibis Sydney King Street Wharf is accessible to wheelchair users inside and throughout the hotel. The lobby and bar areas are accessible, have a wheelchair friendly toilet and there are lifts to each floor.  The hotel has 4 designated accessible rooms which have an open-plan wet room with a roll-in shower. There is also an accessible parking spot very close to the hotel entrance.

Cabrito Coffee Traders is an accessible cafe located in Bulletin Place. The entrance to the venue is step-free and provides access to the counter and a small seating area. There is also a small seating area outside. There are no toilets at Cabrito Coffee Traders.

The Bridge Room is an inaccessible restaurant on Bridge Street serving modern Australian cuisine. A step at the entrance and the lack of a portable ramp prevent access to the venue, which also has two steps down to the toilets inside.

MOS is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free entry into the museum from the street and forecourt. It offers wheelchair access to all three levels by lift and a unisex accessible toilet on the ground level, located behind reception. Collect the Visitors Guide which shows the location of the lift, toilet and AGL Theatre. The MOS Café is located on site and seating spills out onto the Forecourt. The MOS Shop is adjacent to the entry reception area. There is no onsite parking or drop off area. The nearest commercial car spaces are expensive alternatives, include the Governor Phillip Tower basement car park (next door), The Intercontinental Hotel (across the road) or The Opera House car park.

There is step-free access into the venue and part of the lower dining area, but the upper seating area is accessible only by stairs. There are no toilets on site, but there are unisex facilities in the courtyard. Designated parking spots can be found in the carpark on King Street.

Silvester’s is an accessible fine dining restaurant in the Sydney Marriott Harbour hotel. Lifts provide access from the hotel lobby to the restaurant, and they also take you to the accessible unisex toilets on level two. The space inside is restricted but staff will make sure you have a table that is easy to get to.

Silvester's

Tucked away on the corner of side road off of Bridge Street, Tokonoma is an inaccessible Japanese restaurant. The only entrance to the venue has a large step up to the door and there is no portable ramp on site to assist with entry.

Tucked away in a narrow alley way on Bulletin Place, Tapavino is a bar that is accessible to wheelchair users. But,  access is extremely limited inside the small bar area, and the venue’s toilets are up a flight of stairs. There is some accessible seating outside the restaurant.

Bar 1880 is a speakeasy-type bar located in the historic Bulletin Place building.  Once home to the publishing house of one of the country’s longest-running magazines, Bulletin Magazine, which was published from 1880 all the way through to 2008.

Bar 1880 has two levels: downstairs, you’ll find the ‘Headline Bar’ with alfresco laneway seating on Bulletin Place.   Upstairs is the ‘Press Room’ with lush bar, uneven floorboards that still carry the marks of the original printing press, painted deep blue walls, low lighting, sepia photographs & old newspaper clippings . 

Inside there is a range of seating from high tables with stools, low tables with chairs, stools, banquette seating with outdoor tables & chairs.

Bar 1880

Located on Harrington Street, Brew Cafe can be accessed via a gentle ramp situated just to the side of the venue’s main entrance, which has four steps to negotiate. Inside the cafe, plenty of seating is accessible. However the space is restricted but it is possible to rearrange the tables to ensure there is enough room to maneuver. Accessible toilets are available on site and designated parking can be found on Harrington Street.

Hokkaido is an inaccessible Japanese restaurant on Loftus Street. As you arrive at the entry, you are immediately met by a flight of stairs which lead down to the dining area. There is no other entrance to the venue and no outdoor seating.

The Parlour at QT Sydney is an intimate, French-inspired bistro with a vintage-meets-modern vibe, featuring eclectic decor that mixes dark wood and velvet touches alongside thoughtful accessibility features.

As you approach the entrance on Market Street, you’ll notice the grand crystal doors with a nod to classic French theater style—hard to miss and full of charm! Entering is simple, especially with the friendly bellhop. Inside, a glamorous carpeted path leads you smoothly through the lifts and straight to the bistro.

 Located on the ground floor, Parlour has just the right amount of space to comfortably welcome guests, whether you’re stopping in for a quick, delicious lunch or a fancy drink and nibbles.

If you're in the mood for something a bit more sophisticated, just take the lift up to the hotel reception on level 1. From there, the staff will guide you through the spacious, opulent reception area to another lift that takes you up to level 2, where you’ll find the main restaurant.

Every space in the restaurant on level 2 is accessible, with flat surfaces and generous spacing between tables, the bar, and the kitchen area. They’ve really put thought into making the experience easy and comfortable for everyone.

Restrooms are on level 1 near the hotel reception. Just ask for directions, or follow the signs for accessible facilities; you’ll find a spacious restroom with handrails, located on the left as you exit the lifts.

Dumpling Bar @ Loftus is an inaccessible eatery serving pan-Asian cuisine. A step at the entrance to the restaurant prevents wheelchair access and there is no portable ramp to assist.

Located next to International Tower Three in Barangaroo, David Jones Cafe is accessible. The counter is easily accessible via the open plan, step-free entrance. A limited amount of accessible seating is available outside. There are no accessible toilets on site but there are shared accessible toilets in the tower.

While the main entrance features several steps, a dedicated ramp on the right-hand side provides a wheelchair-friendly path to an elevator for entry. Inside, two elevators allow disabled and wheelchair users to access all floors, with no steps in any exhibition areas. Each level includes a disabled-access restroom, ensuring comfort and convenience. Although the library does not have its own parking, the nearest parking facility is located at Sydney Hospital. Overall, the library is highly accommodating for visitors with disabilities.

Located at the edge of Hyde Park and next to the entrance to St James train station, Metro St James is an inaccessible cafe and restaurant. Steps around the perimeter of the property prevent wheelchair access and there is no portable ramp on site to assist.

St James is accessible to wheelchair users. Step-free access is gained via a lift from the Elizabeth Street entrance at the edge of Hyde Park. There are lifts and gentle ramps to take wheelchair users to the platforms. A portable boarding ramp onto the train is available and there is also an accessible unisex toilet in the station.
