Lavana Restaurant

Lavana is an accessible seafood restaurant located on the waterfront precinct at Walsh Bay serving premium steaks, tapas, fresh seafood & cocktails.

The restaurant has step-free access from the waterfront promenade. The area in front of the restaurant has a hard concrete surface and is generally flat.

There are both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Most tables are standard height and the chairs can be moved. The outdoor seating is under a large glass awning, which provides some shelter. Most of the outdoor dining area is on the same level as the entrance.

The tables are placed quite close together. When the restaurant is busy, the space between tables may be limited for wheelchair users. However, most tables and chairs can be moved, so the layout can be adjusted to create more space if needed.

The indoor floor is generally flat, and there is a clear path from the entrance into the main dining area. Near the waterfront, the concrete surface changes to older timber decking. The timber surface has visible joins and some slightly uneven areas, so wheelchair users may need to take extra care.

An accessible toilet is located about 100 metres from the restaurant. The toilet is quite spacious, with a flat floor and some clear space for movement. There is a horizontal grab rail beside the toilet. The basin is wall-mounted. Paper towel and soap dispensers are also available.

For parking, there is accessible parking at 5 Hickson Road, about 50 metres from the restaurant. Wilson Parking is also about a two-minute walk away.

For public transport, there is a bus stop about 60 metres from the restaurant, served by bus route 324. Barangaroo Metro Station is about 350 metres away. Roslyn Packer Theatre is directly across the road from the restaurant.
