Milligram is part of the specialty coffeehouse chain Cherry Beans Coffee located in Birkenhead Point on Roseby Street, Drummoyne. 

Birkenhead Point is accessed via paved level pathway approach to automatic glass entry doors. The cafe offers  step free entry into a contemporary eco-friendly space with freestanding tables, chairs, stool seating high high tables, access to the counter & umbrella covered outdoor seating overlooking the water.

Accessible toilets & parking can be found in Birkenhead Point shopping centre.

Cafe Milligram Birkenhead Point

Yummy Noodle & BBQ is on the ground floor with level access and a spacious layout. It is highly convenient for movement within the dining area and is very close to Burwood Station. Users should note that the on-site toilet is not a dedicated accessible facility.

Entrance: Located on the Ground Floor. The entry from the footpath (via the small alleyway off Burwood Road) is level access or has only a minimal, manageable threshold.

Pathways (Exterior): The approach from Burwood Road involves a smooth, flat, wide footpath leading into a short, level alleyway that provides direct access to the entrance.

Interior Layout: The entire dining space is flat and on one level. The layout is open, and aisles between tables are wide and free from clutter, allowing for easy and safe navigation and 360-degree turns.

Seating: Numerous dining tables offer sufficient under-table clearance for comfortable wheelchair seating.

On-Site Toilet: The restaurant contains one single, general-purpose toilet.

Nearest Accessible Toilet: The closest fully compliant, dedicated accessible public toilet is available at Burwood Park (approximately 5-7 minutes rolling distance) or within Westfield Burwood.

Burwood Station: The venue is extremely close to the station, estimated at 150–200 meters (a 3-minute roll/walk).

Station Accessibility: Burwood Station is fully accessible, featuring operational lifts connecting platforms to street level.

Route: The path from the station is direct, on smooth, flat public footpaths.

Distance: Approximately 300-400 meters from the restaurant (a 5-6 minute roll/walk).

Ramped Entry: Ramps lead directly from the street to the entrance, eliminating the need to handle curbs or steps.

George St Council Car Park (Recommended):

Access: This multi-level car park provides step-free exit via lifts directly to the Elsie Street area, a short distance from the café.

Payment Concession: When displaying a valid NSW Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) permit, parking is FREE in this council car park.

Location: Metered street parking spaces are available on Elsie Street and surrounding areas.

Payment Concession: When displaying a valid NSW MPS permit, parking is FREE in metered/ticketed zones, and time limits are extended significantly (e.g., a 1-hour limit becomes 2 hours).

T & B Cafe

Newtown - From concourse to railway Lane

Kürtősh at Marrickville Metro offer great  coffee and amazing baked goods. The Front entrance and entrance to outdoor seating area are massively wide and fully accessible. The counters are low so wheelchair users can be seen. The space itself is massive with plenty of room to maneuver around and there is plenty of space between tables to allow wheelchair users to pull up  to a table comfortably and still have plenty of room for people to pass by without bumping or kicking your chair. Staff are friendly. There are fully accessible bathrooms in the shopping centre the 2nd floor accessible bathroom (accessible by lift) even has a hoist, and shower in it.

SparQling Pizza & Grill on Burwood Road in Burwood provides moderate accessibility for people with mobility impairments. The restaurant entrance step-free from the street, allowing wheelchair users, people using walkers, or mobility scooters to enter without major barriers. The doorway is manual, which may require some assistance for people with limited upper-body strength, but staff are usually available to help when needed.

Inside the restaurant, the layout includes a dining area with tables and seating arranged along the main floor. There is adequate space for basic wheelchair movement, although some sections may feel slightly narrow when the restaurant becomes busy. Staff can often assist by rearranging chairs to create additional space if required.

St Peters Station offers step-free access via a gentle ramp on one side and a main thoroughfare without stairs from the other. Both sides of the station feature signposted lifts providing access to the lower platforms.

A unisex wheelchair-accessible bathroom is located next to one of the lifts. It includes handrails, a manual swinging door, and is relatively spacious inside.

The platforms are hard-surfaced, wide, and generally easy to navigate. For boarding assistance, a portable wheelchair ramp is available by calling ahead or speaking with station staff at the central office on Platform 3.

St Peters

Both entrances to the Metro are wheelchair accessible, with wide automatic sliding doors. While there is no formal signage, the entrances are clearly visible and easy to identify. Ramp access is available at both entry points.

Accessible unisex ambulant toilets are clearly signposted and located throughout the Metro, split across its two main sections. These toilets have button-operated locks for both entry and locking.

The walkway connecting the two sides of the Metro does not include stairs, making it navigable for mobility aids. However, the ground surface becomes more textured and slightly bumpy in this area. The food and dining zone features wide, outdoor tables with space for wheelchair users.

There are lifts throughout the centre, providing access between the rooftop parking levels and the main ground floor, as the travelators are marked unsuitable for wheelchair use. A moderate number of dedicated accessible parking bays are available near the central lift, alongside bays designated for prams. The central lift is prioritised for ambulant and wheelchair users.

Temporary motorised scooters and complimentary wheelchair hire are available. These can be booked either by calling the Metro directly or in person at the Centre Office Management or Security Office on weekends.
