Side Part is an accessible cafe located on Alfred Street South, Milson Point well known for its house baked goods, coffee & Vietnamese banh mi.

Wiith views stunning views of the surrounding area including Sydney Harbour Bridge, the cafe offers semi step free entry as there is a step but at one end of the doorway is flat.  The cafe is small & cosy with tables, chairs, banquette seating, access to the fridges & counter.   There is also outdoor umbrella shaded seating in the form of a parklet with wooden bench & tables however there is a step up so inaccessible for some.

One of the most spectacular public gardens in Sydney, Wendy’s Secret Garden has been continuously created like a giant living painting since 1992, by Wendy Whiteley, artist in her own right, and wife and muse of Australia's eminent artist, Brett Whiteley.



In October 2015, what began as a guerilla garden was safeguarded, when North Sydney Council was granted a 30+30 year lease of Wendy's Secret Garden by the NSW Government.
 


Wendy’s Secret Garden – which is no longer a secret! – is nestled in Lavender Bay, just a short walk from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This is a haven where locals and visitors can explore the tiered gardens with flowering plants, as well as views to the Harbour Bridge. Explore pathways that reveal striking sculptures that range from fine works to rustic pieces. Enjoy a picnic or relax at one of the tables or benches.

Wendy's Garden is not wheelchair accessible. There are steep inclines and a range of steps. Visitors with limited mobility may only access the uppermost sections of the garden via Clark Park.
 


The garden has recently undergone improvements to make the space more welcoming and accessible. A series of ramps have been added within the garden to allow visitors to navigate the garden’s levels with greater ease and gain access to the garden’s lower areas.

Entrance has a ramp, however venue is small. One door open currently, which would not accommodate width of wheelchair, both doors would need to be open.  2 metres from entrance is counter to order. Floor is blocked by a large barrel in the middle obstructing access to service. Bathroom access would be via entry to Greenwood Plaza which is to the left if the Cafe.  Parking can also be found at the Plaza
