Both of the entrances to Observer Hotel have steps and are inaccessible for wheelchair users. The only option at this bar and restaurant is to sit outside in the courtyard, which has a number of tables which means you will have no access to the toilets. There are ramps around the courtyard giving access to the outlet and the various seating areas. There are no accessible toilets on-site but some at the Visitors Centre nearby. A large restaurant upstairs in the centre of The Rocks area, great to visit with the whole family, very kid friendly too. Yummy pancakes, pizzas, some salads and it’s fully licensed - something for everyone. Caters easily for large family groups. 

There is a lift to go up to the first floor coming off Playfair street, next to the steps leading to the front door. Although the restaurant is quite roomy with wide aisles to get to all the seats, around half the tables are booth seats, so you may need to book ahead to get one of the open tables with chairs that you can move aside if need be. 

Parking in nearby Argyle Street, and the nearest accessible parking is on street outside 107 George Street, around 80meters away. 

Pancakes On The Rocks

The Orient Hotel is an accessible bar. Owing to the fact it is located in a heritage listed building, there is no lift access to the upper restaurant. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor and there is a ramped entrance on Argyle Street. Ample space between the outside tables, which have glimpses of the harbour & water. Unfortunately all the tables inside are bar height with bar stools! 

Orient Hotel

Barney and Bligh Reserve is located adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art and contains the historic Cadman’s Cottage building. It's a popular spot for tourists and visitors to enjoy the sight and sounds of Circular Quay.
The Reserve is only accessible via a gravel driveway adjacent to the park, as there is a step running around the perimeter of the reserve. The terrain is mostly soft and there is no accessible parking or toilets nearby.

Upon arrival you will need to use the ramp off Mill Lane which is just on the side street to get up onto footpath. 

There is step-free access into the hotel and throughout. The hotel offers two Queen rooms which are designated accessible. Both feature a roll-in shower with hand rails. You will need to specify that you require one upon booking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, including the Fine Food Store right next door, which has really wonderful food and coffee for lunch, brunch and breakfast.

Located opposite the Tourist Information Centre in The Rocks, Pony Dining is fully accessible with step-free access into and around the venue. The outdoor seating area is cramped and does not have enough space to comfortably maneuver a wheelchair. Inform the venue about your visit and then they can arrange a special table with enough space. Accessible toilets are provided and designated parking spots can be found in the Rocks carpark.

Appetito Pizza Pasta Bar is an accessible restaurant that can only be accessed via the George Street entrance and not the rear entry on Circular Quay. But at the George Street entrance there is a special door for wheelchair users which has extra wide doorframes. Inside you will find a lift which takes you to the dining area. Staff are happy to assist with arranging a table and they will ensure that there is enough room between the tables. There is also an outside area which can be used.
An accessible toilet is available onsite. The closest designated parking spots can be found approximately 100 metres away from the venue on George Street.

William Blue Dining is an inaccessible fine dining restaurant on George Street. There is a sizable step at the venue’s only entrance and the restaurant does not have a portable ramp to enable wheelchair access.

Located on Harrington Street, the wheelchair access is about 10m down the road towards the Argyle. There is a little ramp but if a car is parked in front it is not accessible off the road. 

The hotel is accessible to wheelchair users. There is one designated accessible room, Heritage Queen room, which is located on the lobby level of the hotel and is fully accessible with roll in showers. However, the hotel’s restaurant is located down a flight of steps and is therefore inaccessible. But the hotel is surrounded by plenty of accessible cafes and restaurants.

A set of wooden stairs greet you upon arrival at Scarlett Restaurant’s only entrance. There is no portable ramp to assist with entry and no accessible outdoor seating area.

Royal Copenhagen Ice Cream Cone Co is an inaccessible gelato shop located in The Rocks. The entrance to the shop is not step-free and there is no portable ramp to enable access to the counter and small indoor seating area.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is fully accessible to the mobility impaired. You can access the MCA via the George Street entrance or via a ramp from Circular Quay. All public areas of the museum, including the MCA Store, MCA Café and restaurant and galleries are accessible via lifts. You can borrow wheelchairs at no charge from the Information Desk on level 1. 

Fully accessible toilets are located on the ground level, levels 2 and 3, level 4 Cafe, level 6 Rooftop Venues and in the National Centre for Creative Learning.

However the rooms are pretty small and there is not much space to maneuver within the room. There are two pubs within the hotel which are accessible by wheelchair. There are also plenty of shops and cafes in the immediate surrounding.
The venue does have its own car park which is free of charge but without designated accessible parking spots. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Assistance may be required because there are slopes/ramps. But there is also a Wilson carpark nearby.

First Fleet Park provides a great vantage point to view the comings and goings of Sydney's ferries and jetcats. First Fleet Park is an accessible park located on George Street. There is step-free access via entrances from Circular Quay and Alfred Street. The terrain is hard and flat. Plenty of accessible cafes and eateries can be found at Circular Quay and The Rocks. There is no toilet located at the park, the closest facilities are at Circular Quay Train Station.

First Fleet Park

This is a small playground but great for the local families in the area and a plus that it is enclosed.This playground issuitable for toddlers and younger children. It includes swings and climbing equipment but unfortunately no special equipment for wheelchair users. 
Trinity Avenue Playground is fully accessible as the terrain is hard and flat. There is step-free access into the playground and throughout. There are no accessible toilets located on site. There are no designated accessible parking spots but 2 hour parking on the steets nearby is possible.

The Harbour View Hotel is situated on the corner of Cumberland Street and Lower Fort Street in The Rocks, under the southern end of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The Ship Inn

The Bund is a modern take on the traditional Chinese dining experience offering an upmarket Chinese restaurant serving elevated traditional cuisine in a warm, old-fashioned ambiance located on Hickson Road in Walsh Bay.   

The Bund features paved level pathway apporach to step free entry.  Inside is spacious with turquoise green decorating the walls alongside images of the old Bund in Shanghai, classic antiques & darkwood furniture creating an intimate ambience.  There is further seating outside.

Walsh Bay Arts Precinct

Located in the Four Seasons hotel on George Street, Grain is an accessible spirits, cocktail bar and restaurant. Grain by Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, is all about the fine craft of drinking.
Step-free entry is gained via the hotel lobby. All parts of the restaurant are accessible and there are also designated unisex toilets on site. Outside tables are not available.
Designated parking spots can be found in the hotel carpark or in the Rocks carpark.

Grain

Serving coffee, sandwiches and pastries from the Alfred Street side of Circular Quay train station, Ground Control Cafe is accessible to wheelchair users. Entry is step-free and the counter is accessible, but the seating area is very cramped for space. There is no outdoor seating and no toilet on site.
Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street.

Ground Control Cafe

A fully accessible station. Beyond the entry barriers are four lifts to the left and right taking you to the two platforms. It is worth bearing in mind that, at certain times, the volume of people and tourists with suitcases means that you might have to wait for an empty lift.

Circular Quay Station

Located on the ground floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Top Juice is an accessible juice and snack bar. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout. Top Juice has no seating area of its own, but there is accessible seating in the rest of the food court. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities. Designated parking spots can be found in the shopping center carpark.

Located within the Gateway Building on Level 2, disabled access via lifts or elevators up to Level 2.

Salt Meats Cheese

Brand new accessible toilet. Wide hallways and turning points to access. Situated on the ground floor down the hallway next to Gozleme Co. No changing table. Plenty of room for turning. 

Gateway Sydney

A newly built accessible unisex toilet in the Gateway centre. Clean, roomy with a large turning circle inside. Long wide corridors to the doorway. Follow the toilet signs from next to Gozleme Co and it's off to the right side through the double doors (which are always open). Gateway is open 7am-11:30pm Mon-Fri, 8am-11:30pm Sat/Sun.

Gateway Shopping Centre Accessible Toilets

Located in the Shangri-La Hotel on Cumberland Street, Altitude Restaurant is an accessible bistro serving modern Australian cuisine. A lift in the hotel lobby will take you up to the restaurant on the 36th floor. Some of the venue’s seating is restricted and this may mean some tables are inaccessible at peak times.  There are accessible toilets on site and designated parking spots can be found around 200 meters away in the Wilson carpark.
