A set of wooden stairs greet you upon arrival at Scarlett Restaurant’s only entrance. There is no portable ramp to assist with entry and no accessible outdoor seating area.

The Orient Hotel is an accessible bar. Owing to the fact it is located in a heritage listed building, there is no lift access to the upper restaurant. There are ramps around the courtyard giving access to the outlet and the various seating areas. There are no accessible toilets on-site but some at the Visitors Centre nearby. Accessible parking spots can be found in the Rocks carpark.

A large restaurant upstairs in the centre of The Rocks area, great to visit with the whole family, very kid friendly too. Yummy pancakes, pizzas, some salads and it’s fully licensed - something for everyone. Caters easily for large family groups. 

There is a lift to go up to the first floor coming off Playfair street, next to the steps leading to the front door. Although the restaurant is quite roomy with wide aisles to get to all the seats, around half the tables are booth seats, so you may need to book ahead to get one of the open tables with chairs that you can move aside if need be. 

Parking in nearby Argyle Street, and the nearest accessible parking is on street outside 107 George Street, around 80meters away. 

Pancakes On The Rocks

Located in a food court on Playfair Street, Hero Sushi Box is a takeaway Japanese food outlet which is accessible by wheelchair. There are ramps around the courtyard giving access to the outlet and the various seating areas. The space in the seating area is generous. There are also designated accessible public toilets located a matter of metres away from Hero Sushi Box in the nearby  Visitor Centre

The Museum of Contemporary Art is fully accessible to the mobility impaired. You can access the MCA via the George Street entrance or via a ramp from Circular Quay. All public areas of the museum, including the MCA Store, MCA Café and restaurant and galleries are accessible via lifts. You can borrow wheelchairs at no charge from the Information Desk on level 1. 

Fully accessible toilets are located on the ground level, levels 2 and 3, level 4 Cafe, level 6 Rooftop Venues and in the National Centre for Creative Learning.

Access can only be attained via the Argyle Street entry, where staff will assist you with a portable ramp. There is only one accessible table in the main dining area, which is usually closed from Monday to Friday, but you can call the venue and make a booking so they can arrange that table for you. Accessible toilets are available on site. Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark around 150 meters away.

Saké Restaurant & Bar The Rocks

The Russell Hotel is accessible to wheelchair users from the rear entrance. It offers a small amount of wheelchair friendly rooms with roll in showers. However the rooms are pretty small and there is not much space to maneuver within the room. There are two pubs within the hotel which are accessible by wheelchair. There are also plenty of shops and cafes in the immediate surrounding.
The venue does have its own car park which is free of charge but without designated accessible parking spots. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Assistance may be required because there are slopes/ramps. But there is also a Wilson carpark nearby.

Barney and Bligh Reserve is located adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art and contains the historic Cadman’s Cottage building. It's a popular spot for tourists and visitors to enjoy the sight and sounds of Circular Quay.
The Reserve is only accessible via a gravel driveway adjacent to the park, as there is a step running around the perimeter of the reserve. The terrain is mostly soft and there is no accessible parking or toilets nearby.

First Fleet Park provides a great vantage point to view the comings and goings of Sydney's ferries and jetcats. First Fleet Park is an accessible park located on George Street. There is step-free access via entrances from Circular Quay and Alfred Street. The terrain is hard and flat. Plenty of accessible cafes and eateries can be found at Circular Quay and The Rocks. There is no toilet located at the park, the closest facilities are at Circular Quay Train Station.

Caminetto is not accessible to wheelchair users, owing to steps at the main and rear entrances. However, the venue does offer table service and has an accessible seating area outside.

Upon arrival you will need to use the ramp off Mill Lane which is just on the side street to get up onto footpath.

You will need to specify that you require one upon booking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, including the Fine Food Store right next door, which has really wonderful food and coffee for lunch, brunch and breakfast.

Appetito Pizza Pasta Bar is an accessible restaurant that can only be accessed via the George Street entrance and not the rear entry on Circular Quay. But at the George Street entrance there is a special door for wheelchair users which has extra wide doorframes. Inside you will find a lift which takes you to the dining area. Staff are happy to assist with arranging a table and they will ensure that there is enough room between the tables. There is also an outside area which can be used.
An accessible toilet is available onsite. The closest designated parking spots can be found approximately 100 metres away from the venue on George Street.

You can access the Blue Bar through the main lobby of the Shangri-La Hotel which is step-free. Elevators directly connect to the higher floors where the bar is located. The space is restricted, however, the staff are able to allocate tables to ensure enough room for wheelchair users.

The hotel is located near Circular Quay and Wynyard train stations, both of which are accessible via wheelchair and other mobility aids. Located on the ground floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Hero Sushi Train is an accessible eatery. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout. Hero Sushi has no seating area of its own, but there is accessible seating in the rest of the food court. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities.

A newly built accessible unisex toilet in the Gateway centre. Clean, roomy with a large turning circle inside. Long wide corridors to the doorway. Follow the toilet signs from next to Gozleme Co and it's off to the right side through the double doors (which are always open). Gateway is open 7am-11:30pm Mon-Fri, 8am-11:30pm Sat/Sun.

Located on the second floor of the Gateway shopping centre, Jimmy’s Recipe is an accessible Malaysian restaurant. A lift in the lobby of the complex will take you to the venue, where there is step-free access throughout. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities. Designated parking spots can be found in the gateway shopping center carpark.

Harts Pub is an inaccessible restaurant and bar located on the corner of Essex Street and Gloucester Street. Both entrances to the venue have a set of four steps and there is no portable ramp on site to aid entry.

Circular Quay, Wharf 4 is an accessible ferry terminal. There is step-free access into and throughout the terminal, which is fully manned and has a portable boarding ramp to enable wheelchair access onto the ferries.

Hurricane's Grill Circular Quay is accessible to wheelchair users and provides step free entrance. The space inside is generous which means that it is no problem to maneuver within the venue. Outside tables are also available. Hurricanes´s Grill offers an accessible toilet and designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street.

Located at the Alfred Street entrance to the Gateway shopping complex, Zumbo is an accessible patisserie. Step-free automatic doors lead you inside the shop, where you’re met by an accessible counter. There is no seating needed inside.  There is a shared accessible toilet in the Gateway shopping complex,

Located at the Alfred Street side of Circular Quay train station, Banh You is an accessible Vietnamese street food outlet. There is step-free access to the takeaway counter, which is at a good height for wheelchair users. This is purely a takeaway and there is no seating or toilets available.

Located on Cumberland Street, The Rocks Teppanyaki is an inaccessible Japanese restaurant. Entry to the venue is step-free, but all of the dining rooms in the venue can only be accessed via sets of stairs. There are no lifts in the building.

Dutch Smuggler Coffee Brewers

Located inside the entrance to Wharf 4 in Circular Quay, Subway is a takeaway sandwich shop which is accessible to wheelchair users. The outlet is purely a takeaway kiosk and there are no tables or toilets on site.

Serving coffee, sandwiches and pastries from the Alfred Street side of Circular Quay train station, Ground Control Cafe is accessible to wheelchair users. Entry is step-free and the counter is accessible, but the seating area is very cramped for space. There is no outdoor seating and no toilet on site.
Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson carpark on George Street.

A lift in the lobby of the complex will take you to the venue, where there is step-free access throughout. Benches make some of the restaurant’s seating inaccessible by wheelchair, but most can be accessed. While there are no toilets in the restaurant itself, the Gateway food court has unisex facilities.

Chat Thai Circular Quay

Accessible Turkish food takeaway outlet located in the Gateway . The counter is accessible on the corner. The outlet is located near the toilets which are accessible. There is an indoor seating area adjacent with plenty of space to move around.  

Gözleme King

Located on a slight slope on Lower Fort Street, The Hero of Waterloo is a pub and restaurant that is inaccessible to wheelchair users. There are steps at every entrance and throughout the venue, preventing access. There is no portable ramp on site to assist with access.

Located in the courtyard at Grosvenor Place, Saké Jr is a takeaway Japanese restaurant that is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access into the venue and part of the lower dining area, but the upper seating area is accessible only by stairs. There are no toilets on site, but there are unisex facilities in the courtyard. Designated parking spots can be found in the carpark on King Street.

A popular spot with locals, workers and visitors, Observatory Hill Park offers sweeping, panoramic views of Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge for free. It is nestled in the city centre.
Observatory Hill Park is a partially accessible plot with step-free access. The gradient varies from steep to medium and terrain is mostly hard. In the park you can find some seating and picnic areas. There are not many cafes in the immediate vicinity.
Accessible public toilets aren’t too far away on Watson Road, at the Argyle Street park entrance.
Closest parking spots can be found in the Wilson Clocktower carpark.
