All Circular Quay wharves (Wharves 2–6) are fully accessible. The wharves are located directly opposite Circular Quay railway station, which is also fully accessible. Accessible public toilets are available outside the station, opposite Wharves 2 and 5. These facilities can be accessed by contacting station staff via the phone number displayed on the bathroom door.

Wharves 3 and 6 are primarily reserved for commercial ferry and charter operations, while Wharves 2, 4, and 5 are used for public transport ferry services.

The surrounding precinct consists predominantly of flat surfaces, with only occasional uneven paving and mildly uneven ramps. Access to the wharves requires prior fare payment through the designated transport gates. Each wharf provides two or more accessible entry gates. Following ticket validation, all passengers, including wheelchair users, can access the boarding areas via ramps.

Within each wharf waiting area, there are multiple designated spaces for wheelchair users, typically with a minimum of three accessible positioning areas available.

Boarding access to ferries is generally accessible; however, the connecting ramp between the wharf and the vessel may occasionally be narrow or not fully secured in place, which may present minor mobility challenges for some users.
