Kambah District Park 22 hectare space with a huge adventure playground designed for all ages & abilities.  

The playground features a giant slide, extensive, high climbing frame, junior & senior flying foxes, bouncy toys, sandpit giant swings, roundabout, space net, accessible liberty swing, accessible birds nest swing, mound slides , half-pipe for skaters , tree house, & boulder-style rock climbing wall.

There are benches with shade, lead-in pathways & bike paths, 3 free BBQ's, picnic tables & bubblers & accessible toilets onsite.  

There is a dog on-leash area, playing fields & a community garden nearby along with old homestead elements including a woolshed, Nissen hut, meat safe, tennis court & the old cottage which is now a YMCA playschool.

There is a car parking on Springbett Street. 

Kambah Adventure Park

Pine Island Reserve is located in Canberra's south on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River.

There is plenty to see and do at Pine Island Reserve. Electric BBQs provided., picnic tables some undercover. Kids playground. There are also some shorter walking loops through and around the reserve. Beach is unfortunately not accessible as it has stairs.  

Accessible toilets are available at Pine Island South and at Pine Island Central opened during daylight hours.

Gates are closed to vehicles from 9pm to 8am during daylight saving time, and from 6pm to 8am at other times of the year.

Please take your rubbish, no bins provided.

Pine Island Reserve

Limelight Cinemas is located inside South Point Shopping Centre & offers step free entry.

Boasting 8 cinemas with large screens so you don't miss anything with state of the art sound and equipment and large spacious seats. 

Doors - The Cinemas all have a doors with a vertical handles, these doors are left open during the ads and are closed during the feature of a film. 

Parking -  Coles carpark of the Southpoint shopping Centre is the  closest  to the cinema, disabled parking are  spots available. 

Ramps are located in each cinema but only for  the first level of floor seats. The rest can be accessed by stairs. Each cinemas has between 3 to 6 spots for Wheelchairs , depending which cinema is picked. 

For Carers, if they have a valid Carers ACT card or Companion Card they are given a complimentary ticket to the movie. 

Wheelchair Friendly Toilets are located in the  foyer next to the cinemas for closer access. 

Enjoy the casual dining experience at the fully  licensed Ruby's which include pizzas, burgers and yummy milkshakes.  Or PopCorn Lab for the sweet treats like ice creams, drinks, or fancy popcorn!

Limelight Cinemas

Lake Tuggeranong Circuit is a 7.6km loop around Lake Tuggeranong to walk, run, bike or roll.  Located just 20 minutes south of the city, this loop is estimated to take 30 minutes to cycle the route, or an hour & forty minutes to walk it without a break. With flat paths and clear signage, it is used by locals every day to exercise & make the most of this waterside location.

The route is reasonably flat the whole way, with the occasional small undulating hill to provide interest. Along the way there are little sandy beaches, BBQ areas, playgrounds, bridges, jetties & twists and turns around the back of lakeside properties. There is a Learn to Ride bike track, picnic tables & benches & takeaway coffee places with seating.  Along the way, check the signage & maps and see how you are progressing, around this scenic loop.  

Part of the route takes you by Tuggeranong Town Centre, as you pass the Library, Tuggeranong Arts Centre & local Lake Tuggeranong College.  There are plenty of areas to sit by the lake & grab a coffee or something to eat from places at Tuggeranong Town Centre.

Along the circuit is the Tuggeranong Town Park, close to the Town Centre it features a sandy beach, birdlife, large playground, skate bowl & BBQ's along the foreshore. There are another 2 parks, Greenway Park on the opposite side of the lake (eastern side) & Lake Tuggeranong District Park.

Along the route is Lake Tuggeranong, an artificial lake, where tributaries and storm water combine in the lake & then waste is removed before rushing down into the Murrumbidgee River, clean and ready for downstream fish & wildlife.  There is also the dam built in 1987 as a sediment trap to ensure the water going into the river is pollution free.  There is an Aboriginal wood carved sculpture titled Gathering Place, Wellspring with Brian Carrick, positioned on the eastern side of the lake.  

Accessible toilets can be found along the circuit at Tuggeranong Town Park, Village Creek, South Point, Erindale shopping Centre & Tuggeranong Homeworld. 

Accessible parking can be found along the route including Cowlishaw Street, Pitman Street, Reed Street North & Homeworld. 

Lake Tuggeranong Loop

Lil Milkbar is an accessible cafe located on Mawson Place open 7 days a week from 7am-2.00pm offering rustic, simple, fresh, good food with a Vietnamese twist that is refined & healthy.

Lil Milkbar is a small intimate space featuring step free entry via paved pathway.  Inside is cosy with limited tables, chairs & fixed banquette seating.  However, there are a number of outdoor tables & chairs.

Accessible toilets can be found just over 2km away at Chifley Place, Colbee Court & Westfield Woden. Accessible parking can be found closeby on Heard Street & Mawson Place.

Lil Milkbar

Quean Kebabs is an accessible outdoor kebab & burger van located in the Star Car Wash parking in Chisholm, every day until 10 pm.

There is step free access to the van & outdoor seating area of picnic benches with umbrella shade.

Accessible toilets can be found 75m away in the Chisholm Village Shopping Centre & there is plenty of regular parking.
