The Arc Cinema is  an awesome arc deco cinema, with state of the art equipment , where  nostalgic films from 70s, 80s, and  90s all the way through to today. It's located in the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia building. 

All the areas at the NFSA building are wheelchair accessible. The ramps to access  the entry to the building is on the south-facing entrance on Liversidge Street with two Automatic doors .  

Disabled Parking  can be found around the building, Be aware there are limited free parking spots surrounding the building on Liversidge Street.

There are T switch loops available in Arc Cinema for hire.

Wheelchair accessible & ambulant bathrooms are located in the main building for easy access.

They do have wheelchairs for hire at NFSA reception or pre book  by calling them on (02) 6248 2000 during business hours.

Tickets are Adults $14 and Concessions $12. The NFSA only charges concession for people with disabilities and Carers get a complimentary ticket.

Arc Cinema

Rebel Rebel, named after the David Bowie song is an accessible venue with step free access.  There are unfixed tables, chairs in the dining area & stools at the bar area.  There are also fixed banquette seating with chairs the other side, communal long tables with unfixed seating & stools at the higher tables. 

There is space between tables accessed via polished concrete floors, big windows & the crowning feature being a sloping wooden rafter-like installation that occupies the five-metre roof cavity.

City Hill is a 5 hectare landscaped hill located in the centre of Canberra, surrounded by Vernon Circle. It is central to the original design of Canberra and features formal tree plantings from the 1920s.

Paved level pathways run throughout the park.  At the center of the park is a flagpole flying the ACT flag since 1989. The highest point of City Hill offers views overlooking Lake Burley Griffin. Bar Rochford is an inaccessible wine & cocktail bar hidden away in the one of the capital’s oldest buildings, the iconic Melbourne Building.  Being a heritage listed building they are not permitted to install a lift.  However, the staff are more than willing to help anyone with mobility issues, if it's possible, up the stairs to the first floor.  They say they have done it before a number of times, just ask.

There is a mixture of fixed booths & moveable tables & chairs. High tables with stools are available along with the drinks bar.

The centerpiece at Bar Rochford is a huge arched window overlooking London Circuit.  In winter, there’s also a roaring fire to enjoy. The record collection mirrors the wine list: eclectic, funky & extensive.  Traditional classic bottles sit alongside alternate varietals, bolstered by handwritten specials on butcher’s paper that constantly change as bottles run out. The Canberra Centenary Column is an accessible sculpture in City Hill, Canberra. It was built to commemorate the city's centenary, & unveiled on 11 March 2014.
