However, the staff explained that for customers with a disability they can provide the services (posting parcels, or selling products) to the customer at the front door. The store is small and majority of the inside area is visible from the outside.  No nearby parking but some can be found at Ridge Street

There is a luxury country house vibe with here rich timber panelling, the soft mid-century corners of the see-and-be-seen mirrors, the brass-lined archways.

The North Spoon is an accessible cafe, restaurant & catering situated on Blues Point Road in the heart of Mahons Point.

The neighbourhood cafe is light open & brimming with greenery accessed via paved level pathway approach into white picket fenced garden.  The cafe offers wide step free entry glass entry doors into a bright area with large windows, wooden tables with high backed chairs, banquette window seating & access to the counter.   The outside dining areas features umbrella shaded tables offering a glimpse of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Pub located on Blues Point Road. Main entryway is via a large set of stairs, however there is a side entrance that is flat (to access this requires travelling up a medium inclined hill).

The main pub area is all on one level and has disability toilets. There is also a downstairs area which is in the process of renovations which will include lift access.

There is customer parking, however it is difficult to utilise for those in wheelchairs, so staff advise to drop off outside the venue, or park on the road outside.  

Commodore Hotel

The Foilage Cafe is a semi accessible eatery located on Blues Point Road.

The cafe features a large wide open doorway with slight step on entry which has a gradien,t steeper one end accessed via paved level pathway approach.  Inside is bright & spacious with a serious leafy vibe access to the counter, banquette seating along one wall, tables with high backed chairs & sofa seating.  There is also a few outdoor covered seating.

The Foliage Cafe

Laurek Leaf Bistro is an accessible cafe in McMahons Point. Access to inside of cafe is via a level surface entryway, however requires navigating around a tight corner doorway. 
Inside area all mostly on a level surface, with the back half separated via a step. There is also an outdoor table area. 
No disabled toilet facilities onsite but can be found at North Sydney Train Station or Greenwood Plaza, along with parking.

Laurel Leaf Bistro

Lavendra is a semi accessible a la carte & tasting menus of upmarket Indian cuisine situated at Lavendar Bay with views over Sydney Harbour.

The venue has steps leading to the restaurant & going into the restaurant so these will need to be navigated. The steps from Lavender Street are steep & they ones from Walker Lane are large & wide. 

The interior of the restaurant is elegant with high ceilings, canderliers & white clothed tables with views over Sydney Harbour.  There are limited tables & chairs outside.

One of the most spectacular public gardens in Sydney, Wendy’s Secret Garden has been continuously created like a giant living painting since 1992, by Wendy Whiteley, artist in her own right, and wife and muse of Australia's eminent artist, Brett Whiteley.



In October 2015, what began as a guerilla garden was safeguarded, when North Sydney Council was granted a 30+30 year lease of Wendy's Secret Garden by the NSW Government.
 


Wendy’s Secret Garden – which is no longer a secret! – is nestled in Lavender Bay, just a short walk from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This is a haven where locals and visitors can explore the tiered gardens with flowering plants, as well as views to the Harbour Bridge. Explore pathways that reveal striking sculptures that range from fine works to rustic pieces. Enjoy a picnic or relax at one of the tables or benches.

Wendy's Garden is not wheelchair accessible. There are steep inclines and a range of steps. Visitors with limited mobility may only access the uppermost sections of the garden via Clark Park.
 


The garden has recently undergone improvements to make the space more welcoming and accessible. A series of ramps have been added within the garden to allow visitors to navigate the garden’s levels with greater ease and gain access to the garden’s lower areas.

Floor is blocked by a large barrel in the middle obstructing access to service. Bathroom access would be via entry to Greenwood Plaza which is to the left if the Cafe.  Parking can also be found at the Plaza

Blue 36 is an accessible cafe situated in Greenwood Plaza opposite North Sydney Train Station, Blue Street, North Sydney.

Luna Park is Sydney’s famous amusement park, located at Milsons Point, on the north shore of Sydney Harbour. You can take an accessible ferry here to Milsons Point wharf. There are great views from here of the Harbour Bridge. Lovely bar/restaurant. Very open plan seating, easy for a mobility impaired person to get around. Easy access to disabled toilets, with no stairs. Access to venue is via a ramp on 15 Mount street. There is one disabled car spot on Wilson Street on the other side of 15 Mount street, however the car spot backs directly onto a pedestrian crossing so access may be slightly impeded. No other options if that car spot is taken. Easy access from public transport however Mount Street is a steep incline from North Sydney station. 

TreeHouse Hotel

The TreeHouse is an accessible bar, restaurant and cafe located just off of Pacific Highway. Close to public transport with a bus stop and train station near by.
Steps leading up to the main entrance with small inclined ramp/path leading up to a courtyard area where you can access the building.

The Treehouse Hotel is an accessible restaurant & bar situated on Miller Street, North Sydney.

The venue is accessed via paved level pathway approach to large wooden entry doors. Inside is bright & funky with exposed brick, candelabras, wooden tables with high backed chairs, leather booths, high tables, stools & a leafy courtyard.

The Treehouse Hotel

The Treehouse is a restaurant and bar, with easy wheelchair accessible entrance. There is one roadside accessible parking opposite side of the road (near the junction).

Good selection of high and low tables on both side after the entrance. Bar is quite high for ordering. Cafe cashier is lower.

There is an outdoor seating area with low tables and chairs. A small balcony with two steps stairs 

There is an accessible toilet right past the cashier desk on the same level. The toilet has standard facilities for an accessible toilet with a low wash basin. However the toilet was found to be used to store or keep the floor cleaning bucket and mop.

Off street secure parking with elevator access to Greenwood Plaza and from there flat access to North Sydney station.

via mount street (there is a lift in the lane way next to Fitness First, which enables customers to avoid using the stairway up to the front of the gym).
Entry level of the gym is flat and accessible to all, including change rooms and disability access toilets.  However, other levels of the gym are accessible via stairs only.

Wheelchair accessible via ramps up to church. Ramps are reasonably flat with very slight incline. About 8 meters total length. Access to church via side entrance lift after pressing the buzzer. Disabled toilets available (however unable to be viewed in order to review them). Once inside the church, there is plenty of room for a large wheelchair to be seated at the back of the church at to move up the aisle to receive communion. Beautiful peaceful grounds to enjoy. 

Mary Mackillop Place

Public Coffee is an accessible cafe featuring step free entry to large glass doors.  There are steps at the frojt but there is a side ramp with the entrance on Little Walker Street.

Inside is bright & spacious with easy access to the counter hight tables with stools, banquette booth seating, armchairs & low level tables. 

Accessible toilets can be found under 200m away at Greenwood Plaza & accessible parking at Pacific Highway & Walker Street.

Thai Carat is a Thai restaurant on Walker Street, entry way has a small step, tapering off to the left hand side (which only a very slightly off the group, however it is not completely flat to the ground). There are fixed tables & benches inside with moveabe chairs & access to counter.  No outside tables & no toilet (disability or otherwise inside).  Accessible toilets & parking can be found at Greenwood Plaza, further parking at 99 Walker Street & 111 Pacific Highway

There is meter parking available around La Capannina on Alfred Street, Burton Street & Fitzroy Street, all within walking distance to the restaurant. An accessible desginated parking bay can be found outside the Neighbourhood Centre. 

La Capannina Italian Restaurant Sydney

Side Part is an accessible cafe located on Alfred Street South, Milson Point well known for its house baked goods, coffee & Vietnamese banh mi.

Wiith views stunning views of the surrounding area including Sydney Harbour Bridge, the cafe offers semi step free entry as there is a step but at one end of the doorway is flat.  The cafe is small & cosy with tables, chairs, banquette seating, access to the fridges & counter.   There is also outdoor umbrella shaded seating in the form of a parklet with wooden bench & tables however there is a step up so inaccessible for some.

Regular parking can be found right outside, accessible toilets closeby at Milson Point train station & Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre which also has an accessible parking bay right outside. 

Side Part Cafe

BTB is an accessible cafe located on Ennus Road, Kirribilli. The cafe offers step free entry via paved level pathway approach to large open plan doorway.

Inside features high & low tables with stools, chairs, benches, easy access to the counter & outdoor covered street seating.

Accessible toilets can be found at Milsons Park, Quibaree Park & Anderson Park.  Regular street parking is available. 

BTB Kirribilli

Fitzroy is a semi accessible cafe located on Ennis Road, Milson Point, right by the station entrance.

The cafe is accessed via paved level pathway approach to a small step on entry which is flat one end but with a gradient which may prove difficult to navigate. 

The cafe was the first butcher shop in Kirribilli converted into a modern cafe now with the re-created interior of an old butchery.  With freestanding tables, chairs & easy access to the counter you can enjoy Allpress Espresso blend coffee or Mariage Freres teas from Paris whilst listening to groovy music.  

Accessible toilets can be found closeby at Milsons Point train station & Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre which also has a designated accessible parking bay right outside.
