Accessible Playground In CanberraBoundless Playground
Boundless – The Centenary of Canberra National Playground, is located on the shore of Lake Burley Griffin at Kings Park & is Canberra's first all abilities playground.
Boundless is a fully enclosed free, state-of-the-art play space that is fun and inclusive of all children of all ages & abilities.
There are 3 zones within the playground, zone 1 consists of multiple tunnel slides, fireman climbing pole, stepping bridges, covered viewing platform turrerts, toddler playground, wheelchair accessible merry-go-round & Green space to chill out.
Zone 2 has a easy roll bike path leading to a giant sand pit & sealed digger excavator. There’s a wheelchair friendly aero-glider rocker for multiple kids.
Zone 3 has a giant shade sail that covers the swings in this area including an all-abilities swing & huge net swing.
There is bench seating all round, accessible pahtways throughout, BBQs, picnic area & accessible amenities.
The park has limited on-site parking, but additional parking spaces are available across Parkes Way with pedestrian access via the intersection and connecting path.
