12-Micron at 100 Barangaroo Avenue offers an exceptionally spacious and highly accessible dining experience with a completely step-free path of travel from precinct arrival to departure. Visitors can easily reach the venue via public transport by using the fully step-free Wynyard Walk pedestrian tunnel from Wynyard Station or by arriving at the nearby Barangaroo Wharf ferry terminal, both of which provide flat, at-grade routes to the building. For driving and drop-offs, convenient step-free taxi zones are located along Hickson Road and Waterman's Quay, and dedicated accessible parking spaces are available nearby at the Barangaroo Reserve Car Park on Level B1, right next to the southern lift foyer. The closest parking spots can be found on Shelley Street.
To enter the restaurant, visitors head to the ground floor lobby of International Tower 1 via Shipwright Walk, where a broad, level lift foyer equipped with wide metallic doors provides smooth elevator transit up to Level 2. The lift opens into a long, flat entry corridor lined with striking yellow and gold feature walls and double glass doors that lead seamlessly into the main venue. Inside, the layout is highly navigable and open, featuring smooth, level flooring throughout the main dining room. Tables are circular and paired with completely loose, movable chairs that staff can easily rearrange to accommodate wheelchair users. While a short section of the internal corridor near the bar counter transitions to a textured cobblestone tile floor, the path remains wide, unobstructed, and easy to traverse under clear overhead signage. The venue is also equipped with a dedicated accessible restroom that features a step-free layout, a toilet with a supportive backrest, sturdy wall-mounted horizontal grab rails, and generous clear floor space for full mobility turning maneuvers.
